An excellent read - A Must
This is a book of a story within another within another. The author keeps them going all at the same time and manages to tie all the loose ends up by the end of the novel. This book keeps your interest throught the whole novel and helps you discover a few things you didn't know.

Terry Winters: Computation of Chains

Beautiful Exhibition Catalogue
Terry Winters describes his ideas and working process in an interview with Adam Fuss in this Matthew Marks exhibition catalog. The book is illustrated throughout with black and white photographs which include studio views, shots of a selection of ink drawings from the series entitled Computation of Chains, and four photographs of etchings related to the series. Each of the fifteen paintings has its own full page photograph.

If you are not familiar with the work of Terry Winters, this is a good first book. His draftsmanship and skills as a printmaker and painter are on display here, but in the limited supply to be expected from an exhibition catalog. The Lisa Phillips book on Terry Winters, if a good used or new copy can be found, is much more descriptive and showcases his printmaking to a greater degree. If you are already familiar with the work of Terry Winters, Computation of Chains makes a fine addition to a personal art library.

Interesting book
I suspect a microencephalic aardvark has more psychic ability than I do, but I looked at this book to see if there was any help for over-educated but psychically benighted Neanderthals like myself. Unfortunately, they don't tell you know to acquire these esoteric abilities, but for those lucky souls who already possess mental powers far beyond those of us mere mortals, this book is full of interesting tests if you want to test your psychic quotient, so to speak.

Horseshoeing
Great informative book for the farrier and horseman. Concise and easy to read. This book was the the one reference that most horseshoeing books later borrowed from. This book is a treasure for anyone with interest in the history and art of horseshoeing and farrier science. This is the number one book on the lost art of shoeing.

There were ten in the bed.
This is a very good book for very all ages.

This can teach kids numbers, you could sing to this book. You can have props, and have the children act it out.

I am sorry that I didn't see the 1,000 max. Lord I can't begin to do that.

But I know from reading to children that they would love this book. The colors were great and they showed different kids of people.

A TRUE ROMANCE
I just finished reading THIEVES AT HEART by Alina Adams in one sitting. This a wonderful regency romance that is witty, heartwarming, and thoroughly enjoyable. Poor, unfortunate Lark Talbot shows up on the Raynes family's doorstep one stormy evening after being "stranded" by her former employer. However, this damsel-in-distress has much more going on in her head than meets the eye...the average eye that is. Damian Moxley has been carefully courting the Raynes' daughter in hopes of absconding with the famed Raynes' diamond. The moment he sets eyes on the seemingly innocent Lark, he's onto her game. Damian is certainly not going to let this amateur chit of a thief undo all of his fine work. Despite his crafty maneuvering and not so subtle threats, however, Lark refuses to back down: that diamond is hers, not matter what that arrogant lout of a man says. What's Damian to do against such persistence? I thoroughly enjoyed watching as Damian and Lark teamed up together to steal the diamond. It was delightful to see how each of them slowly learned to trust one another, and the end was quite fitting. True to the regency form, this book shows no more than a few kisses; nevertheless the spark between Damian and Lark was certainly there. While I generally prefer my romances to be extremely sensual with scorching love scenes, I find I would not change a single thing about this book. With such memorable characters and witty dialogue, I believe I can wholeheartedly recommend THIEVES AT HEART. This is the stuff romance is made of.

Mrs. Adams rocks!!!
Mrs. Adams is the best teacher ever!!! Her book is extremely helpful and the only reason it's out of print is because it's a bit out of date because it's sans word processing info... it still is a great source and is guaranteed to improve your writing!!!
