There is much focus on California, but much of the information can be used in other eaaster and mid-western states for setting up a business.
I highly reccomend this book as a guide to help one build a success paralegal business.
I've been using this book as my "primary instrument" book, and the Jeppesen book as the "secondary instrument" to fill things out a bit. The FAA Instrument book is pretty good too, and a good deal price-wise as well.
This book is filled with so much practical information; since I'm doing instrument training, I'm reading something in this book several times a week. As with Ralph's private pilot book, I expect this will be a ready reference for years to come.
What I like about this book is that it's a very practical compendium of the real flying information you'll need in the cockpit. For example, you can read many other books on holding patterns and entries, but this book gives you the real story on what you should be doing once you're in the air actually doing one. (or as you'll find as an instrument student, doing about a million holds!!)
This book isn't filled with the colorful pictures or flowery prose of the Jeppesen or other instrument texts, but tells you "like it is" (it does have nice illustrations) It is very readable, and I always enjoy my time with it.
If you're like me, you'll find the time you spend with this book like being in the cockpit with an eminently knowledgeable and friendly CFII.
Safe flying!
