Don't Know to Start with Devotions?
This book is perfect for the "I don't have time for devotions" type of woman. The study is an insightful guide to discerning the different aspects of God's character without thinking for you. It would be useful in both group or individual situations. Also a great gift for new believers.

Interesting Book
I enjoyed this book because it shed light on a subject that has always interested me: the way in which the beauty product industry takes advantage of women's insecurities. Until I discovered authors like Ralph Nader and Paula Begoun I only read about beauty product in fashion magazines. It is fascinating to look at this subject from a consumer-advocate's perspective. This is a well-written, down to Earth book that is not afraid to tell the truth.

Lots of Fun
Peter Larkin is a real lover of old time Burlesque. He's lovingly researched the old sketches, and updated them making them more accessable for a modern audience. He's done a wonderful job, and this volume is a great resource. Between the sketches and Mr. Larkin's excellent notes the reader really gets to see what this lost form of entertainment was all about.

Bio-Medical Telemetry: Sensing and Transmitting Biological Information from Animals and Man

Excellent material in biotelemetry
This book provides a good overview of telemetry issues focused on living beings. It is difficult to find such detailed explanations of telemetry approaches and solutions in general biomedical engineering books.

Although some of the material described in the book may be obsolote for today's technology, the priciples and approaches still remain quite valid. In any case, this book provides an excellent explanation of telemetry approaches, and those readers interested in finding more technologically modern solutions will be able to transplant the situations described in this book to today's technology. To my knowledge, there is not a similar book in the market today that substites this text.

OUTSTANDING PIECE
noone has reviewed this, one of the greatest collection of ghost stories of all times? amazing, really. this collection contains the masterpiece the dead valley (one of the most horrible unreality stories ever), the masterpiece rue m. "something french" (one of the best haunted house storie ever written), two great storie, one mediocre, and one uninteresting. great vivid descriptions. the best thing about crams works is how he describes how Evil starts surronding the place in questioning, until it is overwhelming. here, he is truly master.

good for all levels of guitar player
the book in this duo is pretty basic, although the blues isn't very complicated anyway. But the c.d. is great to jam along with. It allows you to jam to a wide range of blues songs. this is great in stretching you abilities.

Have a Latin translation book nearby
I am an avid reader and reenacter of Norman history in Italy. My interest in the Hauteville family is for the time beiing just starting to grow and I try to read all that I can on the family. What is my point? If you enjoy this type of material then you will enjoy the book. Plain and simple. Understand that with history that is 900 hundred years old, alot of information is just simply not available. The author must decide between what is factual and what was written for personal gain and deception. A very difficult task. My only problem with the book is that the author enters many Latin passages into the body of the work with no translation. This upset me but I bought a few books on Latin and I learned from it. So, did the author do this for a reason? The book is well written but if you have any knowledge on this subject the book will probably not open up any clouds in the sky. It just will fill in a few of the cracks.

A Beginner's dream, An Advanced Nighmare
This is a good beginner's book, but doesn't give the insight necessary to truely read the runes successfully. He tells you brief, mediocre meanings of the runes. I must say though, that he does welcome you to runes. I didn't know how the runes worked, but with his brief not so deep meanings, I was able to start. If you want a book to learn the basics this is the best book, but if you're looking for a book for more advanced people, you better keep scrolling

A good resource for writers.
The only thing I didn't like about this book was the price. A writer's notebook, or what I refer to as a writer's journal, is where ideas are born. The author shows you how to capture those ideas, fertilize them, and grow them into real live pieces worth publishing. An excellent book that includes excerpts from several writer's journals, including the author's.
