2D/3D Graphics and Splines - System and Source Code
The Graphics Draw program provides the source code and documentation for a fully functional and tested graphics application. A broad range of graphics procedures are included that are available for study and reuse. Procedures include various 2D algorithms such as 2D line clipping using the Sutherland-Cohen algorithm, 2D circles using the Bresenham algorithm, 2D plot rotation, 2D polygon fill using the Seed Fill algorithm, and 2D line clipping using an arbitrary polygon window using the Cyrus-Beck algorithm, among others. Moreover, several 3D algorithms are integrated including 3D parametric lines, various 3D transformations including world to center-of-projection and canonical-to-perspective transformations, along with other useful options. In addition, seven types of splines are included, namely, Hermite, Bezier, Basis Spline, Tension Spline, Tension Bias Spline, Catmull-ROM Interpolating Spline, and the Cardinal Tension Interpolating Spline.

What is II Samuel all about?
This is an excellent commentary which serves to explore the life of David while focusing on the "main" character in the book, God, and His unfolding plans. Good exposition, solid analysis, insightful and humorous, I highly recommend it.

Excellent, easy read book I've bought and have given 6 away
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their life. I have read many spiritual and insightful books, but this is the one book I can never seem to keep in my house. Everytime I get a fresh copy I end up giving it away having to reorder it again. Over the past two years I have purchased at least 6 copies ( which I have had to special order) and at this moment I still don't have a copy in my house. It appears to be a gem in the ocean of books that has been highly overlooked. I have even had difficulty finding it in the local libraries and have thought of donating a copy. I am pleased to learn that Amazon Books carries it and thank them for the opportunity to write this review. I have recently written a small book myself and with Parady's permission I am planning to use her book in the suggested reading section. I highly recommend Parady's work to anyone who appreciates Ralph Waldo Emerson, yet has difficulty with understanding his writings. Parady has done an excellent job of putting the messages in an easier format for today's readers.

Fantastic
Along with Holderin, Goethe, Schiller, Lessing, Nietzsche, Rilke, and Thomas Mann, Peter Handke is one of the greatest writers EVER to write in the German language. I've included Nietszche here because of his awsome control over the language and not because he is a fiction writer. That having been said, Across is, in my opinion, one of Handke's best books, however there are many others that are very close. Handke is obsessed with the detached observer and this work deals with a man who is fascinated by threshholds and how he goes through a kind of metaphysical transformation into one who has crossed the threshold and perhaps graduated to another level of being. The story is centered around an impartial observer of life who suddenly finds himself beating the crap out of a neo nazi and in this sense coming to "participate" in life. Handke's decriptions of nature and city landscapes are phenomenal in that they evoke with great color and clarity but without any sense of strain caused by forced metaphors or clunky words. There is an effortlessnes and beauty to the entire presentation, which in the hands of a less gifted writer would have come off as heavy and plodding and overdone.

A true masterpiece and what seems so strange is that this man is virtually unknown in America or Briatin. Even at Foyles in London the staff didn't know who I was talking about. Odd for a person who has been involved with famous directors like Wim Wenders...

One of the truly indispensible novels of the century in the German language. Stars? Hmmm. How many stars did the roof of the Cistene Chapel get?

Informative
James Josiah Webb was a young enterprising man in his twenties who made several trips down the Santa Fe and Chihuahua Trails in the 1840's and this is his account of what life was like then. While not exactly filled with tales of high adventure or edge of your seat drama, it is a good character study of relationships between Americans, Mexicans and Native Americans. The chapters on his 1846 trading venture during war time Mexico are very insightful and gives the reader a feeling for what it must have been like going through those tense and turbulent times of political unrest. A good book.

Against Cheap Grace in a World Come of Age: An Intellectual Biography of Clayton Powell, 1865-1953 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Studies in Religion, Culture, and Social dEvelopment, Vol. 9)

The Conversion of Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Ralph Clingan's book illuminates important dimensions of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's conversion, which he attributed to the six months he attended Clayton Powell's Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem. This is the most important theological work of the past fifty years. I based my Reformation Day Sermon on the book. It reads like a conversation, very readable, if compressed. I want to see more detailed treatments of some of Powell's sources than allowed in this small volume.
