One of the best books for the history of the Farmall line!
Ralph Sanders does an excellent job of explaining the history of the Farmall from the invention of the reaper all the way to the Tenneco buyout of International Harvester. Excellent pictures, useful and historical text, and wonderful explainations of every tractor pictured. Pictured tractors have some of the best restorations that I have ever seen! A great book for anyone interested in the history of the Farmall line of tractors and International Harvester Company.

Excellent historic details and pictures of IHC tractors
This is the best book I've seen on the subject of International tractors. It has a good amount of detail of the history of the various companies and an excellent mix of old and new photos.

Important new catalogue on Burmese Lacquerware
The British Museum, London, should be applauded for launching the first significant exhbition of Burmese art in a major European institution. The catalogue is well-researched, well-written and presents provocative questions. A pioneering section pertaining to inscriptions on Burmese lacquer is especially interesting. Furthermore, the installation in London at the museum was stunning.

Visions from the Golden Land
This is the first authoritative book devoted exclusively to the lacquer ware of Burma (Myanmar). I am an importer of Asian antiques, tribal, and folk art primarily from S.E. Asia, including Burma, and was delighted with the thoroughness of this books content. The range of lacquer ware discussed is quite thorough, the discussion on inscriptions is invaluable and the photographs are excellent. If the chapter on lacquer ware in Sylvia Fraser-Lu's Burmese Crafts Past and Present seemed too short, this is the next book to get. For the very knowledgable and very serious Burmese lacquer collector some of the examples used in the book may be dissapointing. I highly recommend this book.

ABSOLUTELY A MUST READ 4 ALL CHURCH LEADERS AND LAY PERSONS!
Where Do We Go From Here has been an answer to prayer and a confirmation of the vision God has given to me for my ministry. Below are just some of the insights that I have received from this book. You really owe it to yourself to read this book.

I consider this book to be one of my greatest tools in my ministry. I am starting my own Church and this is the model I plan to use. Please email me and let me know if my review has inspired your to purchase the book. CliffEOTC@netscape.net

What are the benefits of a Cell Group Church over that of a Traditional Style Church?

1. Cell Group Churches are more efficient than traditional churches. In the traditional church, only 10% to 15% of the membership are engaged in the tasks required to make the Church function. After the teachers, administrators, musicians, etc., have been pulled out of the total membership, the rest are expected to be faithful members. If an automobile engine were rated at 15% efficiency, it would never see the light of day. The contrast between this misuse of Christians and the New Testament church, where 100% were involved, is scandalous. In the Cell Group Church, everyone is involved ministry, even the children.

2. Cell Group Churches are based on the Scriptural concept of community. The essence of community is a sense of belonging. There is a powerful Christian comaraderie established when people belong to each other in a cell group. This cannot be equaled in a church which assembles people in large groups. People look after one another, and they share the ministry of reachingthe unconverted as a community task.

3. Cell Group Churches focus on the importance of prayer for their ministries. Half nights of prayer are commonplace among cell groups. As much as one third to one half of the time spent in their gatherings is devoted to prayer. Because of this focus on prayer, it is common for many to find Spiritual, Emotional, and Physical healing as a result of a cell group who has a deep commitment to prayer.

4. Cell Group Churches are not limited by the size of a church building. It is obvious that most traditional churches are limited by the size of their buildings. For some, the original building is used for generations. For others, a spurt of growth requires a massive building fund drive and a small addition of space. The success of a church is often measured by how packed the auditorium is, rather than by the number of people who are brought to personal faith. When cell group churches do construct space, it is clearly created for the purpose of equipping, and not for attracting, members.

5. Cell Group Churches are focused on evangelism that includes the powerful witness of Christ working within His body, beyond the traditional presentation of the "plan of salvation." The "ungifted" and the "unbelievers" of 1 Corinthians 14:24-26 are once again, as in the early church, exposed to the amazing power of they body of Christ, where all are involved in the process of edification. Once again it has become commonplace for these seekers to fall on their faces and say, "Surely God is among you!" The form of evangelism that takes place in a Cell Group Church is as old as the book of Acts!

6. Another benefit of a Cell Group Church is that the gospel is offered by non-professional hands, the hands of friends or neighbors, not outsiders. With this being the case, suspicion of the Christian clergy is not present when people in the community are the bearers of the gospel. It is not uncommon for cell groups to see conversions on a weekly basis.

7. Because cell groups are battlefields where people are set free from strongholds, it is commonplace for a cell group meeting to focus on a Biblical teaching related to a life problem. While the Traditional Church will focus on these issues in a sermon, the cell group calls each member to be accountable. Many times a cell group leader will ask, "What is the state of your life concerning this issue?"

There are many more benefits of a Cell Group Church over that of a Traditional Style Church. Please understand that I am not saying that the Traditional Church is completely ineffective. It is just that E.O.T.C. believes that the Cell Group style of ministry is a better means of reaching out to the growing number of people who are lost and need to find eternal life in Jesus Christ.

It has never been, nor will it ever be our desire to take people from other churches to build the size of our Church. While we will never turn down someone who wants to join our church, our primary goal and focus is to reach out to the unchurched, unsaved population with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are not in competition with anyone other church wether it be a cell group based or traditional. There is a place for both styles of churches in our culture and it is our suggestion that each believer find a Church where they will be encouraged to grow in the faith and where they will be taught the Word of God and given a place to worship from the heart. For some that may be a different church than E.O.T.C., but the truth is that we are all ONE CHURCH!!!

Doing Church As They Did In The 1st Century!
WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? With updated information on new cell church models, new information on equipping and harvest events and practical teaching on how to begin a transition to a Cell Church. This book will continue to stir hearts to dream about what the church can be! Book has Me Playing Better than Ever at Age 50
With age has come the need for increased flexibility, strength and better balance on the golf course. This book has been a big help for me. The "Short Set" is an excellent warm up routine. It's easy and really improves range of motion from swing one. Have also never been as "smart" as I need to be on the course. Cissne's book has me thinking my way through the round much better than I ever have before, and I'm actually managing my emotions and channeling my energy with really positive results. It takes a little effort to complete the workbook but doing the work is what brings the reward. Have found myself thinking about how the book's teachings apply to my life off the course as well. The Om CD is a very peaceful stress reducer.

EVERY GOLFER
Every golfer should read this practical book. Ralph Cissne demystifies the essential skills of golf.

sources
Ralph Davis seems to be a very experienced author concerning networks and this book gives a very helpful introduction into network programming. He also knows well what the beginner has to know. But it would be more helpful for me if anyone could give me an adress to download the source-code printed in the book. About 40% of the books weight must be printed source code. To make further experience I would need the sources as file on my harddisk

Mind expanding and extremely helpful
I was busy trying to develop videophone when everything was just absent: SDKs, theories, papers, standards. The book, written by former Novell programmer who written Windows Netware drivers, was very helpful for me. I got his idea of sending messages across computer boundaries and I later implemented it in my code. That's easy: just pack it into structure and unpack it n other side!. My videophones were kept sending each other such a messages to know who is online, and that feature made a big difference..

U must continue through the "SEASONS"
Did u read "Autumns Dancing with the Leaves"?, well you should it's a master piece of an ALL emotional story based on a very difficult personal experience which also gives us ALL a lesson of humanity.

"Winters Stormy Rage" is the natural sequel. Yet again, it's written with tremendous craft and the ability of the author to bring a story into life and flood you with compassion and emotion is still very evident & startling.

Anxiously awaiting the next SEASON to arrive and for this author to be placed in the lights he deserves for pocessing such an incredible personal gift.

An Incredible Continuation
This beautiful continuation of the first book, has an extremely well written text that captures your attention immediately, then maintains your interest with emotional and intellectual intrigue. The vivid descriptions of characters and background within this page-turner, allows one's imagination to soar. The reader can feel he/she is truly part of the story, experiencing all the character's highs and lows. This is the kind of author all avid readers search for. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a challenging, "can't put down" read.

Trailblazer Author Initiates New World of Gaming
It's amazing that so little has been written on BREW, but with this book the above author is at the forefront of the upcoming tidal wize announcing and providing an an insightful and indepth how to manual on how to develop and publish BREW applications.

Good Code, Good Book, Good Times
I just got this book, having pre-ordered it awhile ago. As a BREW games developer, I am finding Mr. Barbagello's explanation of some of the finer points of BREW very useful. I've already had a few "Doh! So *that's* how that works!" moments, and I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in coding applications for BREW. BREW has a definite learning curve to it, but this book could make that much easier. You should have a good grounding in C/C++ before diving in, though, so be warned. The book has an extra section on how to construct BMPs in memory for use in BREW, which sounds easy enough, but if you know anything about BREW, isn't. Overall, a wonderful book I wish I'd had when I was learning BREW.

Lucid and Honest
Ralph Nutter writes with extraordinary candor and clarity about a period in our history when he and others of his generation faced terrible odds in the struggle to save the world from Fascism. His account is as compelling as it is straightforward and unvarnished. A must-read for anyone fascinated by the true meaning of courage under fire.

They were Expendable.
Reads like a good, fast paced novel. Exciting, building chronicle of the air war over Europe and the Pacific.

Explains with starteling clarity the cockpit horrors that left no alternatives to the area bombing of Dresden and Tokyo. Makes it very clear that the A-Bombs were redundant and unnecessary.

A terribly real sense of our "losing years" and the desperate process of a war of attrition. The author, being one of only two survivors of his navigator's class of 22, lets us glimpse the terror and the heroism of an air war where victory would finally go to the combatant who had more young men to "expend"...

Exciting, historically accurate action-adventure!
I received this book to read as a school assignment. After I read the first ten pages, I thought it was going to be pretty boring. I mean, how interesting is a book about getting in a quarrel about tripping over someone's feet. I wondered how Henty managed to write a book that goes on for 360 pages with really small print that kept going on like that. Then, I decided to read a little more. The second chapter wasn't quite as bad so I read a little more, until it got so interesting I didn't want to stop!

G. A. Henty wrote a scores of historical fiction stories about the Middle Ages and other time periods, including Ancient Civilizations, the Renaissance, and even journeys to the new world. At the turn of the century, he was a renowned author, especially among high-school boys. I am surprised that he has been almost completely forgotten today. Henty is a marvelous author who wrote exciting, historically accurate, action-adventure books.

Wulf is a Saxon thane who is under the command of Earl Harold of Wessex. He is always by Harold's side, ready for adventure with his right-hand man Osgod and his best friend Beorn. They fight the Welsh, the Bretons, Vikings, and finally the Normans under the command of the Duke of Normandy, a.k.a. William the Conqueror at the final conflict at Hastings.

If all Henty's books are like this one, I'm going to ask my parents to order the whole set! The only downside to investing your time in this book is the beginning is a little slow. But after that, It's Great! I can't wait to read the next one.

All good books.
This is an excellent book as well as all of the other books by this author. Get them all.
