Useful for professionals
This book is very useful to solve the clinical problem for TS management.Until recently we Japanese doctors didn'd pay any attention for TS treatment. So we have little information and many questions about TS 's medical treatment. This book gives me the answer. But I have some doubts about Zucker's medical policy for GID in children.Should children live as a typical boy or girl?Should parents change their children's sexual orientaion?

Great book! Sequel to Comanche Passion
When Jennifer Carlisle tried to help the Indian she found suffering from a rattlesnake bite she was taken prisoner. Although held for ransom, Jennifer finds herself falling in love with the Indian who claimed her for his own. And even when the ransom is paid and she is back among her own people she cannot forget the man who stole her heart. The book makes us realize how unfairly the Indians were treated and the efforts of a handful of people to help the plight of the Indians.

The St. Louiss Review
i feel this book tells how women struggle. some of them dont follow through on what they plan to do. so,most of thier plans will fall to the side and they will concentrate on something else. also,it could be from a lack of self confidence. A woman might feel that she wont be able to achieve things her male counterpart will receive.

Outdated but still important
As this book was published in 1981 some of the technologies it examines as new developments are now commonplace. Also because of its age, many of the recent hot topics in this field - cloning espically - are not covered, or only briefly discussed as a faraway possibility. If you are reading this with the current science in mind, this can be a bit frustrating. The writing is very much the writing of scientists, and can be a bit dry to the average reader. (For more up-to-date and colorful analysis of these situations, try Barbara Katz Rothman.) However the issues raised in this book are still important and interesting. That the questions the women at this confernce were pondering have not been answered twenty years later speaks volumes for the complex and confusing issues regarding these technologies.

Not a doormat
Back Cover description: She had nowhere to turn. After her parent's deaths, and her brother's departure for Canada, Jemima had no choice but to make a new life for herself. As she wasn't trained for anything, that wasn't going to be easy! On the whole, she realized she had been very lucky to be taken on as companion-help to old Lady Manderly, but still, Jemima knew that her life was somehow unsatisfactory, and she felt unfulfilled. That might, of course, have something to do with Lady Manderly's nephew--Professor Alexander Cator!

This heroine has a strong character and can stand up for herself. Nicely plotted and the romance developes in stages. I liked this Jemima and it's always satisfying to see how the hero falls in love.

The Enochian Tarot/86-Card Deck
Published in Hardcover by Llewellyn Publications (July, 1989)
Authors: Gerald Schueler, Betty Schueller, Betty Schueler, and Sallie Ann Glassman
Amazon base price: $12.95
Average review score:

GREAT WORK RESTORED
The Enochian Tarot deck has been out of print, and it was a great joy to see this re-issue. It is an easy-to-use system of self-discovery allowing you to see your relationship to God and the universe by looking deep inside your subconscious mind to see the direction your life is taking. The mini-book is very helpful with explanations of terminology, Enochian Magic, seven layouts used especially for Enochian Tarot, four rituals and pathworkings, and two study programs, plus an example of an Enochian Tarot reading. The mini-book does not give lengthy descriptions of each card because you are establishing a dialogue with beings from the non-physical realm. There is, however, a separate book, "The Enochian Tarot," which devotes two pages to each card and includes the Enochian Gematria and multiple references for further work and study. I would strongly suggest purchasing it for the serious student.

The deck has thirty major arcana instead of twenty-two. Each Major Arcana card (trump) describes one of the thirty Aethyrs. The fundamental difference in Tarot design reflects the basic difference found in the magical universe that is described in Enochian Magic. Welcome back!
