A truly excellent book
I received this book a couple years ago from a Jewish family that I stayed the weekend with. It answered many of my questions about the Jewish faith. This book also helped me get past some of the stereotypes society has of Jewish people. I feel this is a great book for anyone to learn more about the Jewish religion and culture.

Excellent presentation and accompanying text.
I have seen this book at the publisher's and it is outstanding. The photographs are exceptional and the descriptions well composed and pertinent. You have, however, left out the name of the CO-AUTHOR, Mary Miley Theobald. I hope you will correct this as both professionals worked long and hard to assemble the edition.

Focusing especially on how the bonds of kinship
A highly recommended contribution to Native American Studies, Comanche Society: Before the Reservation by Gerald Betty (History Department, Texas A&M, Corpus Christi) is a meticulous and scholarly study of Comanche society from the beginning of New World Colonization by European powers through the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Focusing especially on how the bonds of kinship affected the interplay within Comanche clans, and how the Comanches came to adopt horses, pastoralism, and other Iberian traits into their own culture, Comanche Society is a fascinating and analytical history of the evolution of this Native American nation.

A gentle offering from a humble teacher
I took Betty Rae's workshop (for folks lucky enough to live around Detroit, MI) before reading the book. The book comes with tapes to help you take "control" of your spiritual journey. The "angels" will help you get there quicker and without the "dangers" of ignorant rushing where angels fear to tread! If you have only one spiritual guide book, make it this one. Surely you will be blessed and goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life. Email your questions to me
