A vast source of information concerning MS.
Ever since I first learned that my boyfriend has MS, I have been reading everything about it that I can get my hands on. This book is very informative with a ton of detail, but I wouldn't reccomend it for the layman because it does get a bit technical.

How man invented time...
This is a great book on the evolution of time measuring machines. But its real value is in the large amount of bibliographic references.

The Wonderful world of useless thoughts
I loved the book - i think anyone who has some sort of ingenuity must be a little bit mad. And tomeo writes like he came straight from your mind - he is not afraid to bring on page even the most refuted thoughts. Tomeo is the master of surplus redundant thinking. He writes like a Madman. Both stories are great and very taking. Tomeo writes in a very idiosyncranitstic style and it's beautiful. I recommend this book warmly. Incidentally - if you want to know what it's about - it'd be suffice to say it's not really of importance. but isn't the name 'Dear Monster' enough to enchant you forever. I Promise it's even more breathtaking in hebrew.

Review from the Publisher
Catholic students lose their faith at colleges - "Catholic" and non-Catholic alike - in record numbers today. At an age naturally given to questioning the values they have been raised with, college students are often all too open to seemingly rational assaults on the Faith. In this book, former John Carroll University Professor Fr. Alexander presents air-tight, rational arguments for Catholicism in a manner sure to appeal to any university or upper level High School student sincerely interested in finding out the truth about God, the Universe, and his or her self. Starting with the existence of God, Fr. Alexander continues by showing that God founded a specific religion, that that religion is the one called Catholic, and that everyone has an obligation to join the Catholic religion. This book is essential armor for any intelligent young Catholic going off to a university, or whose Faith is threatened in High School. It is also good for non-Catholic college students making inquiry about ultimate truths. Ideal for Godparents and everyone who wants to explain the Faith to others. Ironclad logic!

Excellent!
If a book about commemorative coins had to be likened to the Bible, this would be it. It is excellently researched and has a great wealth of information about the various varieties of the coins. It also contains more information about original holders than I have ever seen. Of special interest to investors is the section on projected increases in value. This book is also packed full of top-notch illustrations. If anyone is interested in commemorative coins, or coins in general, this book is a must for any numismatist.

Best insiders glimpse of Paris!
I stumbled upon this gem when buying 6 Paris guidebooks to Paris for [a.] a long flight, and [b.] a week of business in France. This Anthony Glyn publication significantly out-did the others. It was insightful, and USEFUL, and, best of all, quite humorous. I liked so much, I bought one dozen as Christmas presents for co-workers with future stints in Paris. I recommend to one, and all -- those visiting briefly as well as those with longer stays.

I intend to buy Mr. Glyn's Rome Companion, and hope he expands his work to other cities in the near future.
