I enjoyed this story about a bull rider and a beekeeper - an interesting pair.

Sweetly refreshing
A nice category romance. Perfect pacing, great hero, fiesty heroine. If you like a sweet traditional romance, you can't go wrong with Honey of a Husband.

Review from a family member
This is the book I looking forward to read. Tony, an uncle, told me about the book and I could not wait to read it!
This is an insight of a soldier who took part in war far from home and had to do things that is not always right but as soldier he had to obey orders. It is a compelling book that I could not put down till I finished it!
A point I would like to see rectified is why Tony denied his South African background and up bringing? He was born and brought up in South Africa till he left to join WWII. We are all proud of his achievements in his adopted country but would like to see his conection with South Africa not forgotten.

A personal and compelling narrative
Anthony Blondell became involved with the Montagnards of South Vietnam in the early 1960s when he was part of the U.S. Army Special Forces Airborne unit stationed there. Honor And Sacrifice: The Montagnards Of Ba Cat, Vietnam is Blondell's personal and compelling narrative of those times and that place within the larger context of the Viet Nam war. Honor And Sacrifice is a welcome and much appreciated contribution to American military history in general, and the growing library of Viet Nam military memoirs in particular.

How to Form Your Own Texas Corporation

A good preparatory guide before you meet with a professional
Quite informative and well done. A much better approach than "Quicken Lawyer 2002 Business Deluxe" by Nolo Press, which is hastily put together and of low quality.
Use it to understand the subject, prepare your documents for review by a lawyer and have appropriate questions when meeting with your attorney. It will save you money and trouble. Nevertheless, I would be tempted to say that it would be hard to skip the attorney altogether based on this book.

Saved me a lot of money - easy to use
This book is easy to use and will save you much money. Very in-depth. I used it to form three different corps.

I'm Ok, You're Ok: A Practical Guide to Transactional Analysis
Published in Hardcover by G K Hall & Co (June, 1974)
Author: Thomas Anthony Harris
Amazon base price: $11.95
Used price: $0.75
Average review score:

We're OK
An outstanding self-help book discussing human behavior based on transactional analysis, in an easy to understand language while still technical.

Very stimulating and enlightening book!
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand his or her behaviour in situations.

The "A-Ha" feeling you get when you start reading it comes when you understand why so-and-so makes you feel small or angry and why certain situations make you start playing some game.

It discusses the basic terminologies and vocabulary needed and then goes on to discuss in different social contexts and developmental contexts the application of Transaction Analysis.

This is not just a vague psychology book like Freud. It is extremely practical and insightful.

a very good sequel indeed
David Barber wrote Bach beethoven and the Boys some years ago. Since then he has added When the Fat Lady sings and even more recently If it Ain't BAroque.

While the first book metioned deals with Music History as a history of personae, here composers in the newer book he covers the same territory from another angle of view. This Music history is compiled from Genres. It was hardly evitable to tell some tales he had told again and all in all it is funny and instructive. Only for readers knowing the former two books some jokes were rubbed out already.

For its goal, easily a 5!
I was unfamiliar with Barber's works and from the title expected the book to accompany my Mus 312 class on Baroque Music History and focus completely on that. (whoops) The book's real goal is a comical approach to music history in its entirety. None the less, I still read the book and enjoyed it immensely. I wish I would have had this (and now Barber's other books which I also highly recommend) for my Mus 100 class (Introduction to Music Masterpieces). Barber's books take the information a textbook offer in an easygoing and funny way. Had my professor assigned all of Barber's Music History books together instead of a normal textbook for an Introduction to Music History, I would have left with the same knowledge a textbook offers but having enjoyed many more laughs along the way. Informative yet funny, how can you lose with that?

The international political economy of Pacific Islands flags of convenience
Published in Unknown Binding by Centre for the Study of Australia-Asia Relations, Faculty of Asian and International Studies, Griffith University ()
Author: Anthony B. Van Fossen
Amazon base price: $
Average review score:

A very good examination of political economy
This manuscript is a very good political analysis of the pacific islands 'flags of convenience', a term aptly used to describe the change of flags on vessels for the purposes of tax evasion. Although many monetarist economists and critics would state taht tax havens are the perogative of a sovereign nation, Dr. van Fossen clearly shows this is not the case. Only criticism is that methodology has not been completely developed...very strange from a professor trained at Princeton! On well, apart fron that, a good read.

THIS TEXT CHANGED MY LIFE!!!
What an INCREDIBLE analysis of the world! As a student at MIT I was always a Republican with a libertarian-leaning philosophy - until my forray into politics. The is a brilliant and highly academic look at flags of convenience, a technique used to protect the wealthy from having to pay more tax than they rightfully should. I now understand that people only follow free market philosophy because it benefits THEM, NOT BECAUSE THEY SUPPORT THE SUPPOSEDLY 'SOVEREIGN' ROLE OF STATES! Professor Van Vossen has given the clearest understanding of this difficult topic in a clear, academic and UNBIASED WAY!!! This book is so cool, EVERYONE SHOULD READ IT! This guy is brilliant, just brilliant.

Brief history of "wild weasels"
A good book that describes in some detail the development of wild weasels, associated gears and tactics. Traces development through veitnam to more current times. Good coverage of topics related to WW history and development and some Airforce / Navy politics. Good for the casual readers with no engineering background to follow and understand. For engineers or researchers this will provide a good general background and introduction into this field.

Great book for an introduction
I worked in the field of EW for 9 years, and so I am very biased about this book, but I am also a harsh critic on books about this topic. I found the book to be a great intro to what exactly electronic warfare is and how it is used on the battlefield. Stories abound, terms are explained, and the writing is in a friendly style. I did find it strange that the book is called "Iron Hand", the term the USN uses, and the front cover photo is of USAF F-16CJs. The USAF uses the term "Wild Weasel".

SHORT FLEMING/ BOND STORY
FOR BOND FANS, THIS IS MUST. BUT DON'T EXPECT THE MODERN SLAM-BAM. BASED ON A SHORT FLEMMING STORY, NOTHING LIKE THE MOVIE. SET IN 1961 BERLIN, TYPICAL BOND OF THAT ERA. SHORT (I.E. - 1 CASSETTE STORY - BUT AT THIS PRICE, WHY NOT)? TITLE PROVES TO BE A FUN SUPRISE AT THE END....

Tightly Woven, Perfect Yarn!! A Classic 007 Cold War Tale!!
One of Ian Fleming's best James Bond stories!!! With this short story, Fleming gives us an interesting view of Bond and his opinions on his cold, lonely profession. While many of the typical 007 trappings are missing, Fleming conceives a perfectly written story that keeps the reader's (or listener's) attention throughout. One of the best elements is that Fleming dispenses with the fantasy and makes the premise very beleivable. The story is very moody and the narrative paints vivid portraits of the action in Cold War Berlin (The Perfect Location for a Perfect Spy Story) and the man that is James Bond. Fleming's descriptions of Bond's feeling about his chief "distraction" from duty are masterful. This particular audio book perfectly captures the spirit of the story. Anthony Valentine's narration is very soothing and helps the listener to visualize the action as it develops. Valentine's clear voice and well-timed inflections make this interpretation the best of all of the audio book versions of Bond novels currently available in the U.S.
