even though i'm 15...
even thoughi'm fifteen, I LOVED THIS BOOK!
Karen's dad said she could have a sleepover. But, when Nancy Dawes tattles on her for doodling in her school math book, Karen gets mad. Nancy thinks she didn't get an invitation, (because it got lost in the mail.) but when she gets it, Karen un-invites her and invites the new girl named Pamela Harding to her sleepover instead. But Pamela turns out to ba a snot. She thinks The Wizard Of Oz is a baby movie, (It Isn't.) And she says pizza gives her bad breath. Karen feels so bad, she Re-invites Nancy. It's a great book...

Way to go!
This book was way too cool! I enjoyed every moment of it.I think it was great and I am planning to have a sleepover soon,it sounds like fun. When karen has decided to have a sleepover, she fights with her best friend nancy and she does not invite nancy to her sleepover.Instead Pamela comes and now karen needs nancy's help to stop Pamela from ruining all the fun.I think this book was lovely.

Karen's Sleepover
The story takes place at Karen's house. Nancy, Pamela and Karen are the main characters. Karen is a nice girl. She is in the second grade. She has lots of friends. She is funny, but, sometimes she can be serious. Karen and Nancy get into a fight, so when Karen has her sleepover, she does not invite Nancy. Karen wants Nancy's help with solving problems that come up at the sleepover with Pamela. I think this book is fun to read because it was about girls who are always having fun adventures together. Karen has nice friends that look up to her. There was nothing I did not like about the book. Karen is the most interesting character. I learned a lot of things from reading this book. One thing I learned is instead of ignoring my friends when I get mad, I should talk it over. I also learned that nobody likes mean and spoiled people. Lastly, I learned that sleepovers are lots of fun. I would like to read other books by this author like Karen's Cartwheel, Karen's Pumpkin Patch and Karen's Secret.

Mallory and the Mystery Diary (Baby-Sitters Club, 29)

A spooky story!
This book was great! It is about a diary Mallory finds in Stacey's attic. The diary was a girl called Sophie's in the 1800's. She told of how her mother had died at the birth of her baby brother. Her rich grandfather then hated her father and blamed him for stealing a painting he had of his daughter. The diary didn't say anything about who was the culprit, only that Sophie was sure it wasn't her father. Mallory then found the old man's confession about covering up the portrait and then went on to find the atchual painting. An exelent read.

Ghost story/ Babysitters Club
This is a great book! My mother just bought it for me and I'm really caught up in it. It's sort of like a Babysitters club book(which it is, of course) and a ghost story. I don't usually read ghost stories (ocasionally I read Goosebump books) but the the Babysitter's club and a ghost story goes really well together. The first chapter is a bit boring but all in all it's one of the better Babysitter's Club books.

One of the Best Books
I read this book when I was in 6th grade. I was so caught up on it that I read it in One Day. It's one of my favorite. I like all her book but this one was especially excellent.

The Story of MaryAnne Spier
I like this book a whole lot. My favortie part was the Mothers Day tea party because it was so sweet the way she couldn't decide to bring Mimi or her father. What I don't like is how they don't tell you how her mother died.
(that's something very small)
It was a great book. For those who liked this book, I recomend:
Mystery5 MaryAnne and the Secret in the Attic
Kristy's Portrait Collection
Abby's Portrait Collection
They're all great books! Thank you Ann Martin!

WELL WRITTEN
This was an interesting story. It helps you get to know her father more and see that he really cares about her. I thought that Mary Anne's grandmother was rude to keep putting him down to her and to criticize Mary Anne and make her upset. Mary Anne tells her off and runs out the door and hides in the cornfields. Then she comes back and says sorry. SORRY FOR WHAT? That part irritated me. It was her Grandma who needed to say sorry. It was her doing.

Excellent story of one tough girl who went through a lot
Very tender sweet, moving story on growing up, and mother loss. Mary Anne's search for a female figure in her life is touching, especially her attachment to Mimi. Her dad tries to fill in, but there's no one in a girl's life like a mother. I was also glad to meet Mary Anne's grandmother along with Mary Anne. I was so happy for Mary Anne and Verna, especially when Mary Anne found out about her mother, Alma. I like Verna and would like to see more of her in future BSC books. I could see Verna had been through a lot and was also working through her grief of losing a husband AND a daughter. It was really too bad that Richard and Verna hadn't grown up yet back when Mary Anne was a toddler and fought over her. It's great that now Richard and Verna are putting their feelings aside for Mary Anne's sake.

Baby-sitter's Fright Night
It's pretty good if you would like to solve a mystery, and at the same time learn. It does need something more, besides Abby's pet pumpkin...just a little something more twistier!

The book was so unbelievably good!
This book is so good. Kristy,Mary Anne, Stacey,Mallory and Abby are going to Salem or a school trip. They don't expect to be involved in one of the most thrilling mysteries ever. Find out what I mean by reading it!

This is one book that everybody should have!!!
This book is an excelent example of Ann Martin's writing abilities. The plot catches your attention right away, and you feel as if you're there. You begin to sympathize with the so-called sixth grader "witch" and sit on on the edge of your seat because of Abby's bad luck. While reading, the author unearths suspects whom may have stolen the Witche's Eye, but there's no way to tell intill the end because of the plot's interesting aspects on the suspects. All fans of Ann Martin should definately read this fantastic view of the mystery in Salem. And if you've never read a book by Ann Martin, this is definately a great place to start!!!

GREAT BOOK, I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN...
This book is extrodinary!!!!! I loved it. It took me 2 nights to read this book and on the first night I didn't put it down untill I was caught reading it at Midnight. I would definently recommend this book to others. Especially if you love mysterys, and stuff to do with camera's. Now, don't get me wrong the whole thing isn't about camera's, but you do learn a lot about camera's, since they find a lot of the clues in the pictures (okay, maybe it IS mostly about camera's, but not in a boring way). This book even got me interested in taking pictures.
This book is about a 13 year old girl named Claudia, who is a member of the BSC (baby-sitters club). She has to go to summer school, but her parents said that if she does well in math, she can take an extra fun subject. Claudia decides to take photagraphy class. She loves it soo much that her father makes her, her own darkroom in her and her sister's bathroom. Mary Anne is missing Dawn (her step-sister) and so are all the BSC member's and the kids,(she is in California for a while). So, they decide to make a book with photographs of Stonybrook, Conneticut (where they live) and then send it to Dawn, (hoping to make her miss StonyBrook and come back sooner). They make plans and one day set of with small groups all over StonyBrook snapping pictures. Claudia is fasinated by the bank and takes a whole roll and a half of just the bank. To be funny Mary-Ann takes pictures of Claudia taking pictures of the bank. Later on during a BSC meeting Claudia and the other members find out that the StonyBrook bank has been robbed of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Knowing that she was at the bank and taking pictures Claudia developes her film, but finds nothing. But, even later on she finds out that the robbery took place on the same day at almost the same time she was taking those pictures. You will have to read the rest to find out if she catches the robber or if she fails.

This book was great I loved it.
Claudia And The Clue In The Photograph is a great book, it is about Claudia and she is taking pictures of the bank just because she likes the way it looks, then she finds out that the bank was being robbed the very same day she was taking pictures so she tries to find out who dit it. you will be pretty surprised when you found out who did it.

Good and mysterious!
Claudia and the Clue in the Photograph is a good book. Claudia is taking photography lessons so she's become obsessed with taking pictures. She's taking pictures of the bank around the same time the bank was robbed. Claudia thinks her pictures contain some clues. They don't look like they do and the police sure don't think so, but Claudia won't give up til all the money is back in the bank!

It made me smile, made me angery, and made me think.
I am a history lover, and my opinion is, that when portraing a historical event or time, the two things that are most important, are respect, and accurasie. All Cladua and her friends wanted to do, is create a play accuratly and respectfuly portraning the First Thanksgiving. I would have loved to have seen, or been a part of somthing like the production they put on. I thought it sounded grate. That's why I was so suppriesed and angered bythe parent's reaction to the play. How could they say THAT was unAmerican? JUst becase they where not willing to accsept the truth about an event in America's past, doesn't meen there is anything unAmerican about portraying things as close to what they realy where as possible! On the contrary, I would have said there version of the story was MORE Patriotic then most, becase it showed the Pilgrems for what they realy where: human beings, people, just like you and I. I'm glad that Cladua and her friends stood up for themselves, and didn't let the insdent ruien there holiday. I have alredy given away to much of the story as it is, so I will refrain from saying more. I will close with this final word, though: Try this book. You will appriceate and enjoy this read, for more than one reason.Even if you didn't read BSC's before, or if you stoped reading them, (like I did) you should try this one. Thnk you, Ann M. Marten, for giving me reniewed fath in your books!

Claudia discovers the true story of Thanksgiving.
This is a very interesting book because for some people it is a real eye opener. It tells the truth about women's rights in those days and alot of extra info on the pilgram life that many people didn't know. For some reason, the parents belived this was wrong. Perhaps they got so caught up in turney and stuffing, they forgot the real thankgiving meaning. Being thankful.

Good
Claudia and the First Thanksgiving is a better book that what is sounds like. In it Claudia and her Short Takes Class are putting on a modern twist of the First Thanksgiving. They address many views and the parents get really mad. They refuse to let the kids put on the play. So Claudia, Abby, Stacey and the rest of her class have to find a way to get their play back. Also at the end of the book a really special vistor shows up! This is a good bookj and worth the money to buy it. P.S. This book brings back Betsy Sobak, remember from #19 Claudia and the bad joke???

I loved this book you should to.
Kristy and the haunted mansion is one of the best baby-sitters club books that I have read so far. I love baby-sitters club because it's always an adventure to experience. Kristy and her softball team got stuck in a thunderstorm and had to sleep in a big spooky mansion on sayer road. they snoop around and find out a lot of stuff about the people who used to live there and even met one of them. But they survived the night. The members of the baby-sitters club threw a party for Kristy when she got back to Stoneybrook.

This book was great!
Kristy and the Haunted Mansion is really worth reading. It's so good, and I like that Kristy and the Krashers' night is so creepy, and mysterious. Read it, and you won't regret it!

GREAT MYSTERY
This is definitely one of Ann M. Martin's best mysteries. Ireally like this book because it's so well written. A mansion has beenrobbed in Stoneybrook and the BSC is on the case. This book has aninteresting plot and a very surprising ending. END

A Very Surprising Mystery
I think this was a GREAT book! I don't particularly like mysteries, so I was very glad when this book came out. Kristy and the Cat Burglar kept me wondering who the culprit was until the very end! You should DEFINATLY read this book!

One of the best BSC mysteries
This is one of the top five! Kristy is walking home one day and hears glass breaking. What could it have been? Kristy(of course) has to investigate. She finds out that a buglary has taken place. Kristy and the BSC begin to investigate, and find out they are dealing with pros. Then the police arrest a VERY surprising person. To find out more read the book.

"All the Baby-sitters wanted was a little snow..."
In reaction to a blizzard that hits Stoneybrook, Connecticut, the seven BSC members--with the guidance of Kristy Thomas--decide to write about their separate blizzard experiences in a group article for 'The Stoneybrook News.' "Snowbound" is the result of that.

During the blizzard, everyone gets stranded someplace overnight--Jessi Ramsey at her ballet school; Mallory Pike and Mary Anne Spier at Mal's house, while baby-sitting the Pike kids; Stacey McGill and her mother in their car alongside a deserted road; Kristy Thomas and her boyfriend, Bart, at her house; Claudia Kishi at the Perkinses' (her baby-sitting clients); and Dawn Schafer and her mother at the airport. While most of them are without power and the use of phones, they're relatively safe compared to Stacey, who is stranded in a car with no heat and gas--and no possible way of getting help if her diabetes gets out of hand.

What I liked the most about "Snowbound"--as well as every other Super Special--is that the point of view changes with each new chapter. Plus the journal entries at the beginning of each chapter are a nice touch.

This is a great Super Special addition to the Baby-sitters Club series. BSC fans should like this one, particularly 8 to 12-year-old readers who like snow adventures set during the winter holidays. If you've already read and enjoyed "Snowbound," then you'll probably like "Super Special #3: Baby-sitters' Winter Vacation" as well.

One of the only BSC books I still love
I used to love BSC books, I had them all, read them constantly. I finally outgrew them and decided to sell them. I collected them all and got ready to take them to the dealership, but I saw "Snowbound". This one was always my favorite and I couldn't part with it. It was the only one I have kept all this time. I'm 15 now, and I still pull out "Snowbound" every now and then, curl up in bed and have a good read.

One of the best super specials
Snowbound! was one of the best BSC super specials. Unlike some, like #13 and #15, this book is pretty realistic. I recommend you read this, you won't regret it!
