Hmm, will Claudia ever forgive her Aunt Peaches?
A must read book!
In my opinion, this is one of the best books in the Baby-Sitters Club Series! Great job, Ann!
Claudia can't believe her luck--wacky Aunt Peaches, one of her favorite people on the planet, is moving back to Stoneybrook...and she's going to have a baby! Claudia's sure that life with Peaches around will be nonstop fun. At first, it is. But then one of Peaches' crazy adventures gets Claudia in trouble. Claudia's really mad--so mad that she blows up at Peaches. And before Claudia can apologize, something awful happens. Claudia would give anything to take back her angry words now. Is there any way she can make things right again? Read this book and find out!
I liked this book a lot!
This was a very good BSC book. I thought it was funny. I was o happy that Claudia's aunt Peaches was going to have a baby! This book is also sad too. After reading this, I recommend that you read Claudia and the World's Cutest Baby. It's also about Peaches. Also the part about Natalie Springer was good, too.

Can Mallory take it anymore?
Mallory is getting so tired of everything. Her new baby-sitting charges in Kristy's neighborhood, the Delaneys, her father losing his job. After her dad lost his job, she felt very bad. But, she felt even worse being around with the rich Delaneys! Can she take all these anymore? We can find out ourselves as we look into the real Mallory in this book
Extremely wonderful!
Poor Mallory ranks as one of the top five BSC books ever written. It was fabulous. Mallory's father has just lost his job. Mallory tries to help her family out, by forming the Pike club, and baby-sitting as much as she can. She also studies extremely hard, because she feels the need to get straight A's. Soon, a few snobby girls find out about Mallory's father, and make fun of her and her dad. Meanwhile, Mal has taken a daily job at the Delaney's. One problem: the kids are spoiled rotten. They have a real fountain and a $400 cat. With a father out of work, a group of snobs on her case, and two rich kids to baby-sit for, will Mallory be able to handle it all? With the help and support of the BSC, she just might.
A very good book.
I rated "Poor Mallory!" 5 stars because I thought it was great. Mallory's father lost his job and the Pike kids figure out ways to earn money. A lot of other kids teased the Pike kids. Will Mallory's dad find another job? If you want to find out, read "Poor Mallory!"

~Haunted House Adventure~
I luv reading Super Specials because they don't tell the story from the perspective of just one character, they show all the characters so you know what's going on in everyone's head. In this book, The Babysitters Club visit a so called, "Haunted House" where everyone is scared. But what I don't understand in the book is, if the girls are scared of a "ghost" entering their bedroom, why do they keep their doors open at night? Strange enough, I like this story because it's cool to read with the heat turned up high, and a lamp light.

Really good
This was a great book. The mysteries are always better when they take place away from Stoneybrook. Because sometimes it's hard to believe all that crime could take place in that small town. I like Claudia in this the best!
I like this book alot!
I like this book a lot because: 1.I like the way they found all the evidence. 2.I like all the characters. 3.I like the whole book. -A.M.Z.

one of Martin's best books
I loved this book when I was nine years old because I really looked up to the title character, Kammy Whitlock, a confused twelve-year-old with a widowed father. At the time, I didn't know anyone who had had to live in a stepfamily, so I was very interested in how Kammy got along with her stepmother and stepsister and baby stepbrother. I also had had a bad experience with camp, and it was reassuring to know I wasn't the only one who would rather be at home reading a book than in a camp full of snotty girls who were always mean to me. This is a cute, engaging story that's great for an afternoon read.
Realistic and Sensitive
"Summer is supposed to be the best time of the year. But this summer looks like a total loss to Kammy Whitlock. First, her Dad gets married again. Then, his new wife Kate books in, and Kammy has to put up with her two children. They won't leave Kammy alone! Three-year-old Muffin flushes Kammy's best paints down the toilet, almost strangles her cat, and the baby cries for hours at a time. Camp has always sounded hateful. But when Dad and Kate suggest that Kammy go away to Camp Arrowhead, Kammy figures it can't be worse than staying home. How wrong can a person be? Arrowhead is a disaster. Now the only question is: what can Kammy do to save the summer from being a total bummer?" This is a brief synopsis of "Bummer Summer," Ann M. Martin's first book. Martin, who is better known for her prolific "Baby-sitters Club" series, deals realistically and sensitively with the subjects of divorce and re-marriage and of changing lives in general. Kammy is an interesting character, sarcastic yet sympathetic, and gives the book much of its humor. I wish someone would put this book back into print!
this title is not out of print,
If you this title is out of print than how come I bought it from my bookstore yesterday?

One of the best Dawn books!
Dawn and the big sleepover is one of the best Dawn books. In the story,Dawn organizes a big sleepover for the pen pals that the kids write to because there school burnt down. Dawn has a hard time, but maneges to survive it. I think this is a great book.
This is one of the best BSC books!
I read this book a while back and I think it is one of the best BSC books ever written! I love how Dawn came up the fundraiser to help the Native American kids and then gave all of the Stoneybrook kids who helped out a huge sleepover with food, games, and prizes. The BSC is always doing something to help other people! I'm glad that Ann M. Martin came up with the Baby-sitters Club series! I can't wait to read this book again and all of the other BSC books! I recommend this book to any BSC fan!
Suspensful
Some of the kids that go to Stoneybrook Elementary have pen pals on New Mexico. The kids get leters from them one day. They wrote that their school burnt down! All of the kids are very sad. Dawn got a great idea to raise money so that could help their school. They have a sleepover in Dawn's and Mary-Anne's barn! It's a night full of fun! You just want to know what goes on next!

Very Imformational adn Helpful
I thought this book was good. It has very, very helpful tips on advertisment, getting started, meal tips, and so on. I liked the part with questions answered and a place to write about jobs and other info. I wish they print more things to do with kids at different ages. I mean you can't play games all the time. But the part with what to do in emergencies was GREAT!
One of the greatest Babysitting Books Around
I got this book when I was 10 years old. I always wanted to babysit, but I was too young. This book got me prepared for babysitting. It tought me what to do and what not to do, while babysitting. It also gave me suggestions on things to do with children of all ages. This is a great book! If you want to or already do babysit, this is one of the greatest books you can get!
This Book Is A Must Have For Good Baby-Sitters!
This book is a must have for good baby-sitters! It offers tips on everything from snacks to bathtime to bedtime. It even has a first aid section! Ms. Martian answers questions, there are pages about other baby-sitting clubs and there is even a section in the back to help you start a record book, notebook, client book and for your earnings. I would buy this book!!

Great book!!
I thought Kristy and They Copycat was GREAT. Although the title should be changed because the title explains about 20% of the story. Kristy wants to try out for the SMS softball team and the other girls who have been on it for a long time lie to Kristy and 3 other girls and tell they have to do an initiation. Their assignment is to spray paint a shed. Well, you should read it to find out the rest. It's what I call a "hilly" book because it has a lot of climaxes.
A fantastic book that I would recommend to anybody!
It's about Kristy Thomas who formed a club called the baby-sitter's club. When Kristy signs up for the softball club at Stoneybrook Middle School(SMS)She finds a couple of friends, but the rest of the team doesn't like her and are making her and her friends do bad things to stay in the softball club. Her stepsister Karen looks up to Kristy more than anybody, and lately she's been copying everything that Kristy does. But when Kristy get's caught in a huge scheme, this is something she never wants Karen to copy!
Great book, I would recommend it to everyone.
My favorite book is Kristy and the Copycat, by AnnM. Martin. Kristy started the babysitter club and she had an idea thatshe would start a club where someone could call one phone number and reach a group of babysitters. Kristy also started a softball team for children that could not play on any other team. Kristy and the Copycats is about Kristy and her stepsister copying her because of her admiration for Kristy. At first, Kristy loves the attention, but how long can it go on before Kristy tires of having a shadow? I loved reading about Kristy's new ideas and unusual situations that she gets herself into. I would recommed the Babysitter's Club to everyone.

Hmmmmmm, not bad I suppose.......
Well that was disapointing! From the blurb and front cover I expected a great story about Mal fighting all odds and outwitting her sexist English teacher, but instead she hardly did ANYTHING! Plus Mallory acted in this gross girlie way all through the book! I am SO glad she leaves the BSC soon after. Pity Dawn couldn't return and take her place! Take my advice, DON'T buy it unless you are a hardened Mallory fan. Best buy a different Mallory book instead!
Excellent book on subtle sexism in schools
Bravo, Mallory! I love how when she realized Mr. Cobb was focusing his attention on the boys and virtually ignoring the girls, she did something about it and her BSC friends stood by her all the way! Yes, women and girls have come a long way, but society needs to go further and eradicate subtle sexism that still permeates our society. The girls from the Fabulous Five series need to take some hints from the BSC. Thanks to the BSC, girls today and tomorrow will have greater opportunities than ever!
This book was absolutely great ! Read it !!!
This book was really good. It shows how Mallory stood up for her rights. She was very brave to talk to Mr. Cobb. READ THIS BOOK !!!!!!

Pretty good!
This book is about a girl named Karen who has a new nanny named Merry. Because of Karen and Merry's scedule, Karen and her little brother Andrew join Merry's pottery class even though the kids in the class are a little bit older. Karen wants to prove to Merry that she is the best potter ever. Then there is a girl, Isabel who is a great potter. Karen gets so angry she does something very bad which makes her a copycat. It is very drastic. I thought it was very good. I would highly reccomend this book.
Pretty good
Karen's Copycat is really good. Lately, Andrew has been copying Karen a lot, and she's getting sick of it. Will he ever stop? Meanwhile, due to circumstances, Karen and Andrew will be taking an advance pottery class, taught by their nanny, Merry. Karen is sure she can handle it, but she soon learns that it's just too hard to keep up with the class. Then, Karen passes one of Isabel's (the best student in the class)peices as her own. Now Karen feels awful. What will Merry say when she finds out that Karen's work really isn't hers?
Will Andrew Ever Stop Copying Karen?
When it is Merry's first time to nanny Karen and Andrew, she figures out that Merry teaches a pottery class! Karen and Andrew love pottery and Merry lets them join. Karen can not do anything and she wants to be Merry's best student. So then Karen acciedentally takes Isabel's(another student) pottery and says it is hers. Karen does not get away with it at the end and she apologizes, but Merry still thinks that Karen is one of her best students!

This book was alright, but it's kind of unrealistic that Karen's hair grows back completly in the next book.I mean, who's hair can grow that fast?
A really great book
This book is called Karen's Haircut. It is about a girl named Karen and she thinks she is ugly and she is supposed to be in a wedding! Then Karen gets a haircut and looks even uglier. Then she can't be in the wedding. But then Karen's hair grows back. Now Karen can be in the wedding!
This is a good book.
