I am so sick of these books!
Judging by her work, Ann M. Martin has absolutely no idea of what a teenager acts like, looks like, and says. I am one and I know that the people in her stupid babysitter books are so unrealistic it isn't even imaginable. Does she realize how much the members of the babysitters club would be teased and tormented if they actually existed in real life??

It was Okay
Little Miss Stonybrook ...And Dawn was okay, It wasn't thrilling, I believe that this is not one of Ann.M.Martins great, thrilling, exciting books. Even if i rate it 4 stars, I guess it was okay. Not Bad. If anyone wants to e-mail me, just copy down the e-mail address above. I have read many other BSC books. And they were all alot better than this one.

I love these books!!
They are so great and about the only books I can read with nobad language, and they set examples. Thanks for your time. END

WOW..........
Okay so this plot has been used before. But it's been used in a completely different way. Stacey and Claudia fought in BSC #83, and maybe a few times before that, but never about a guy that they both like. If it has happened, it's never gone to this extreme where Stacey would actually diss Claudia right to the heart and then never talk to her again. I couldn't beleve the ending! (which I won't spoil for you) but I was shocked that this was coming from Ann M. Martin, and her "life-is-all-peachy" chariters! I loved the book! Can't wait for #3! Thanks Ann! Friends Forever is the bomb!

What Stace did was just plain WRONG !!!!!!!
Poor Claudia! I really feel sorry for her! Her best friend is trash!!!!!!

In Friends Forever #2, Stacey instently (as usual) falls in love with the new guy in school. At first, Stacey thinks Jeremy would be wonderful for Claudia but when Jeremy isn't interested in her Stacey moves in.......

UGH! In the BSC series Stacey seemed a little guy crazy but always sweet and caring. In the Friends Forever books however, Stacey's nothing but a shallow self-centered brat who only cares about herself! Claudia has every right to be mad at her!!!!!!

I LOVE THESE BOOKS! I CAN'T WAIT TO READ #3! THANKS SO MUCH ANN!

Stacey needs to shut her mouth!
In Friends Forever #2, Stacey incounters a new guy in school who her best friend has a crush on. Not only does Stacey STEAL Jeremy from Claudia, she makes fun of Claudia so much that Claud actually broke! Stacey is SO NASTY in the Friends Forever series!!!!!! She was much sweeter in the Baby-sitters' Club! I still do like this book however. I love the new direction Ann M. Martin is going in. Everything isn't so unreal anymore. Not all the endings are "happily ever after". This new series has a bunch of twists and turns! GREAT JOB ANN M. MARTIN! I really can't wait for Friends Forever #3 and California Diaries #13!

This is a Funny Book
This book is funny. What are the odds are that a kid would win the lottery and in an amazing show of generosity treat her friends to a trip across country?

I liked the adult characters. I liked Carol and felt she was at least making a genuine effort. She was not getting a prize in the deal -- who would want Dawn for a step daughter? Who would want Dawn period? She is a spoiled, selfish jerk.

I also got impatient with Jill. She's an infantile character who is barely out of the carriage and I smiled at the description of her -- "13 going on 11." She was an airhead with nothing to say and I found myself really not liking her. I didn't like her in the "California Diaries" series either.

The wedding scene was truly funny. So was the description of each character. I liked Jeff, creepy Dawn's brother. He was funny and believable. He knew what a knucklehead Jill was.

I liked the part when everybody got together on the end, as one could easily have predicted. The dialog, voice and characters are funny and well done.

THIS IS A GREAT BOOK!!
This book was reaaly good! The girls win a lottery and decide to use the money to go to California. Dawn thinks the woman her dad is dating(Carol)is trying to act like one of them, Morlly is spending all her money on make to look like a california girl, Claudia found her dream guy,Stacy learned how to surf, Jesse get in a fight with her best friend, and much more happen to the girls. To get get the whole story READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
The first book I ever read and it got me hooked on the series!! Good work Ann Martin!!!!!

Uh-oh, what's Claudia going to decide?
Claudia Makes Up Her Mind is a fine book. It's a decision that is very hard for Claudia to make--now, after a while staying back in seventh grade, she's made some major adjustments. She's got great friends, going at the top of her school work, and even a boyfriend. That's when the wonderful things end. She gets offered a chance to return to eighth grade! Getting together again with her friendsh once more! But the decision doesn't seem so easy now. What will Claudia decide? Claudia likes both seventh and eighth grade, but one of them is got to go! What's Claudia's big decision? Read the book and find out!

I think this book is great!
The problem was, Claudia was faced with 2 decisions:which grade to go into(either to stay in seventh grade or move back to eighth grade), and figuring out what to do cause she was having mixed feelings with both Mark and...Josh! In the end she makes good decisions. Don't wanna spoil it for you! It's a great book. My cousin and I read it about a million times! Keep it up Ann!

A really great book!
Poor Claudia! She's an eighth grader, but she was sent back to seventh grade. She used to hate it, but she's made some great friends, and a boyfriend, and she still has her other eighth-grade best friends. Claudia was sent back to seventh grade because her grades were suffering. But one day Claudia gets the news that she was doing so well in seventh grade that she could go back to eighth if she wanted! But it was two sets of friends, two boys, two grades-how will she ever decide?

Kristy Power (Baby-Sitters Club Friends Forever, 5)

Not bad.
This book wasn't the greatest of all the books in the BSC Friends Forever Series. It wasn't that interesting, either. It doesn't talk about the other characters in the book, mostly about Kristy, Cary, and Ted.

Kristy's at the center of a big school controversy involving a cool teacher and some not-so-cool enemies. Kristy needs all the help she can get--even from Cary Retlin, her archrival.

Kristy and Cary hav been spending a lot of time tegother, since they're supposed to write each other's life stories for school. But the more Kristy knows about Cary, the less she understands him...until she sneaks a peak at his journal. Has Kristy gone too far?

Great!
This book was good. Kristy is in a school where there is a war (kind of) going on. Some parents don't like Kristy's english teacher, Ted. Ted is a great teacher, in Kristy's opinion. Ted gives out a project, a biography project. And Kristy's partner is--Cary Retlin. Cary and Kristy have been enemies since Cary moved to Stoneybrook. But on this project, Cary wants them to work together. But when Kristy goes to Cary's house to interview his family, Kristy sneeks a peek at Cary's journal. All Kristy wanted to do was to understand him more. But has Kristy gone too far?

Super!
I really enjoyed reading this book. At first when I saw this book at the book store I was a little ify about getting it because I usuasly don't like to read Kristy books. I don't like reading Kristy books because I really can't relate to her,I mean I don't like baseball and I just don't like Kristy's style.I mostly like reading books about Claudia and Stacey because they're more like me. But this book really changed my mind about Kristy. I thought that this book was going to be about baseball and tacky clothes. But boy was I wrong. In this book I saw the better side of Kristy, the side of Kristy that I like. In this book Kristy's english teacher gives them a assignment that is nothing but trouble. The second part of the assignment is a biography.Kristy's english teacher partners them up randomly and guess who Kristy gets stuck with, her archenemy Cary. But during the project Kristy founds that Cary isn't that bad and that she's actual starting to like him, until one day Kristy steps over the line and Cary doesn't want to speak to her anymore.I thought this book was really good but I was kind of hopping that Cary and Kristy would get together and become boyfriend and girlfriend. To see if Kristy and Cary get through the project and patch things up between them read this excellent book. ...

The Twins at Ballet
This is one of the earlier Sweet Valley Twins books, before all the characters have been fully introduced. This is not one of the best Sweet Valley Twins books, namely because of the sisters' interaction with one another. Jessica and Elizabeth are taking ballet classes together, and the big performance is coming up. Elizabeth has a huge part, while Jessica got a small part. Jessica whines and complains like a little child because she didn't make the lead. Finally, after trying to manipulate her sister, and take the easy way out, Elizabeth naively lets her sister play her part. As much as I like the Sweet Valley Twins books, this is not the best one and the sisters' interaction is unrealistic.

PS--To all you people who wrote a review about a girl named Nancy, you are thinking of a different book that has the same name. I know the one you mean, and this isn't it. This is in the Sweet Valley Twins series.

Not too good
This book isn't great. It's number two in the sweet valley twins series. The first series like Sweet Valley Twins number 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 aren't as good as number 100 or something higher. This was okay. It's about Elizabeth getting a big part in ballet and Jessica getting a small part. Jessica think Elizabeth is the teacher's pet. Somehow Jessica will find a way to be noticed and get the big part, right?

Teacher's Pet
This book is about when Jessica and Elizabeth start taking dance lessons at a nearby dance studio. On their first day of class Jessica comes dressed all ready for a fasion show, but her teacher likes things plain and simple. From then on Madame Andre (the dance teacher) pretends that Jessica is invisible and never pays any attention to her she just keeps prasing Elizabeth. After one of the dance classes Madame Andre told the class that their will be a recitial held at the Sweet Valley High auditorium, and they will be dancing to a scene from a play, and there will be an adition for the lead role "Swanilda". Jessica is determined that she will in the part. The only problem is that Madame Andre will never look at her to notice how good she is. On the day of the audition Elizabeth arrives just in times to try out. She almost missed it because she went shopping with her mom. Now Jessica is not sure who will get picked for the part, but she figures Elizabeth will since she is the teachers pet. Well I don't want to spoil the ending for you. Read Teacher's Pet to find out who will win the part of "Swanilda". It really is a great book so read it! If you are a Sweet Valley Fan e-mail me!

Pretty Bad
This book wasn't very good. First of all, the fact that an entire school is going to Hawaii for no reason whatsoever is COMPLETELY unrealistic. Next, the adventures of the babysitting weren't that exciting-not even Stacey's. She was on a helicoptor that crashed, but her adventures mainly focused on walking back to where they were supposed to be. What really bugged me about this story is that there was almost NO plot. The whole plot is: The baby-sitters go to Hawaii. They do stuff. They come back. That's what most Super Specials are about, but other ones are written better and the adventures are actually realistic (since when do 13-year-olds act in commercials by pretending that they're 18, and having everyone believe them?). If you're a die-hard BSC fan, then you'll probably like this book. Otherwise, stick to realistic books that actually have a plot.

Good
I liked it. I mean, yes, they do go on lots of holidays, but HEY, they're books, and I like reading them!

Aloha, Baby-Sitters!
This book was fantastic!;-) Whenever I am bored I re-read this book! I love this book because it focuses on all the babysitters and even Robert, Stacey's boyfriend. Almost all the baby-sitters go to Hawaii and love it. All who went said they left too early. There are some funny, exciting, and scary chapters in this book. This book touches your heart in many wonderful ways! You must read the greatest Baby-Sitters Club book ever!:-)Good job Ann M. Martin!

Cool, but yeah right
This was a fairly good book. Each baby-sitter had her own plot, in a way. But come on, Ann, all the Super Specials are unrealistic. What group of girls has the opportunity to go on fourteen plus trips like that? I don't know too many people who, by the age of thirteen, have gone to the Bahamas, Vermont, California twice, NYC, some island paradise, Sea City, Hawaii, and a cross-country tour. Not to mention being snowbound, going to camp, being in a school play, and getting stranded on an island. Good luck for next time, Ann, you'll need it.

BSC in USA review
I think soem people went overboard saying how unrealistic the book was. I mean,t hey are right that the baby-sitters have never graduated from sixth and eighth grade but Ann M. Martin purposely kept them in middle school forever. However, not many kids get to go on such vacations as the baby-sitters do. I guess that's the difference between books and real life. And also, while Stacey may be falling for all the guys (vice versa)she doesn't always act liike a stuck up snot (in some books yes definitely). Anyway, I thought this cross country trip the BSC took was really neat, especially sicne you could learn about all their adventures in different states across the country!

Realistic and Fun
Although many other reviewers found this book highly unrealistic, I found it just the opposite! I happen to be going across the country this summer in a RV( See, it really can happen!) I found all the stops across the country helpful in my choice for my personal stops along the way. However, in the overall scheme of things, BSC Super Specials are a little too out there!

it was ok thats all
i have to admit the author did a good job of writing it,but ive read better books.mary anne is nice but i wish shed just get over logan.in the other books he ,like , ran her life.i think it was a good idea to bring sunny & MA together in 1 book.

Mary Anne's still the same loveable person!
I liked how Ann brought Sunny & Mary Anne together! And yes, Mary Anne is getting new plots (NOT a new boyfriend, which is good). Her heart has just about healed from Logan;I'm glad Ann didn't latch her onto another boyfriend like so many other series would have done. I liked that she joined the yearbook in a previous book & she's doing more things. It's so heartwarming that her house has been re-built & she & her family move back in. I loved the descriptions; I felt as if I were right there with Mary Anne & my heart just warmed for her. She's been through so much pain & suffering in her life & it's good that she's happier now & at peace. She deserves peace & happiness; she's such a good, courageous person! I liked how she sensed that Sunny was still hurting from losing her mom, even though Sunny was hiding her pain under a facade of cheerfulness & she comforted Sunny, even when Dawn got mad at Sunny. It was funny how when the girls snuck off to New York City, Mary Anne felt so guilty. I was sooo sure that she was going to break down & fess up! I'm surprised that she didn't. The ending was gave such a sense of peace & closure & I'm glad that Mary Anne's feeling peaceful these days.

Great! Buy it now!
I TOTALLY recommend this book for people that like Sunny, Dawn, and the rest of the BSC friends Forever series. in thsi book, Mary Anne has finally moved in to her new house, and Dawn is coming to Stoneybrook with Sunny, the best friend of Dawn's that's mother died from Lung cancer. Again, read this book. It's touching, and finally, u get a picture of Dawn and Sunny! (LoL!)
