A great book
In Happy Holidays Jessi, Jessi wants to have the kids in the neighborhood celebrate Kwanzaa. But then when Jessi, her sister, Aunt Cecelia, and Squirt get in a car accident, Squirt gets hurt. Will the Kwanzaa celebration happen? Or is it history?

A Really Good Holiday Story & Culturally Enriching!
I really liked this installment. Jessi, the narrator describes Kwanzaa, the African holiday and the history and traditions about Kwanzaa.

Jessi's redoubtable Aunt Cecilia is just as overly punitive as ever, until her father intervenes and reminds her that as long as she is living in HIS house, she will have to abide by HIS rules and not try to enforce her own. He defends his children and reminds his sister yet again that Jessi and her 8-year-old sister are still children and to cut them some slack. Chastened, the girls' aunt vows to do an about face and once again takes them Christmas shopping. Instead of chewing them out for being hungry or clowing around, the aunt bites her tongue. The only thing I had trouble with was her allowing the girls' baby brother to ride outside of his car seat when he becomes restless and fussy.

Unfortunately, they are involved in an accident and Squirt (John, Jr.) has to be hospitalized. Distraught over the baby's injuries, the parents chew the aunt out for her sheer irresponsibility (why would any ADULT allow a baby to ride in a car without being properly harnessed)? The Kwanzaa gatherings with other members of Jessi's family are strained and everybody is up in arms over the harm done to poor Squirt.

The subplot is excellent. Ann Martin has a real gift for creating dialog and scenes. The other members of the BSC plan a Kwanzaa skit and the BSCers and charges alike all get into the spirit of Kwanzaa and actually learn a few things. I laughed at the hilarious story of Malindy's Soul, the story the group put on. It was a delightful farce and really quite well woven into the story.

Fortunately, Squirt recovers and everybody has a wonderful holiday. Instead of Santa, everybody follows the Kwanzaa celebration. This book is really good.

Great book!
I love this book! It's December again and Jessi, one of the two junior members of the Baby-sitters Club, is really looking forward to Christmas and Kwanzaa. Read this book to find out what happens!

The Best BSC Mystery Book Ever!
Abby and the Notorious Neighbour is quite simply the best Baby-Sitters Club Mystery book I have ever read, and that is saying a lot, because I have read almost all of the BSC books, including the mysteries and the super specials and also the super mysteries, which are really exciting. In this book, Abby's sick and has to stay home for a long time and at first she;s bored because she has nothing to do, but then she accidentally comes across a show on TV called "Mystery Trackers" where they show the most wanted criminals on the loose and in one of the episodes, the show features a criminal who Abby is positive is her next door neightbour, Mr. Finch. So then she decideds to investigate and has a lot of fun doing it, so she's no longer bored. And there is a very interesting and suitable ending. I would recommend this book to any BSC fan or just anyone who loves a good mystery!

soooo coool
This book was great. No, more than great. Totally awesome! This was such a creepy mystery, and Abby and Kristy solve it in the coolest way. This was soooo realistic. The first time I read it I could hardly put it down.

All I CAN SAY IS THAT THE BOOK WAS GREAT !!!!!!!!!
The baby sitters club girls rae my favourite book carecters. they are sooo awsom. The mystery Abby and the notorios neibourgh was one of the best books Ann M. Martin ever wrote.

This book was very adventurous!
This book that I read was very fun. It taught me a lot of things to do over the winter. When I read this book I was scared that Stacey was going to get very ill, because how she has diabetes. I love Ann Martin's books because they are very enjoyable to read. I love the Baby Sitters because they have a nice career, personality, and a lot of love and care for the children they baby-sit.

Great Book!
This book was really good! Throughout the series Claudia really never had much of a "love life". This book gave her some. Also in this book, we get to know Claudia's seventh grade friends better. I think it's great that Claudia's adjusted to seventh grade, and still going strong with the other members. Keep it up Ann!

Claudia Is Queen
This was a very good book.Claudia made some new friends in 7th grade in BSC #101 Claudia Kishi Middle School Drop Out.Then her teacher Mrs.Amer says she's not a STAR student she says Claudia you're going have to go back to 7th grade says Mrs Amer. She said you'll start on Monday.

The best REALISTIC BSC book
Mallory is having a hard time at SMS so she goes on the net and search for schools she could enroll in snd she's been accepted. But Jessi's mad that Mallory told Mary Anne first rather than her To tell you the truth this BSC book wasn't really what I expected. I expected Mallory to change her mind like any old book but she''s leaving I'll miss her like the BSC

The best BSC Book EVER!!!!!!!!!
Poor Mary Anne! Being stuck in the middle isn't what she had in mind! With Mallory going off to Riverbend Hall the BSC is upset. Jessi is heartbroken, after all she's losing her best friend. However Jessi shows her sadnness through anger, especially since Mal concults Mary Anne first about her problems. Will Mal go away? Will Mary Anne solve the feud? You HAVE to read this book!

Mallory's leaving. Can the BSC go on without her?
Mary Anne in the Middle was a very good book. One of the best BSC books written so far. Mallory hates SMS, and wants to go to a boarding school. When she gets accepted, she tells Mary Anne first. Jessi finds out, and now she is furious at Mallory. Mallory is angry at Jessi for not understanding. Poor Mary Anne is stuck in the middle. Besides Jessi, Mallory's siblings are all mad at her as well! And how will the BSC go on with another member too short? Will Mallory and Jessi make up before she leaves? Can the BSC find a replacement for Mal? Will Mary Anne be stuck in the middle forever? You've got to read the book and find out!

BSC rules!
...The kids aren't always good.if you've ever read #59 you would know that. The girls do get bad hair days. The only reason the BSC is always thirteen is because people won't read the books if they were twenty or something.I have about 100 BSC books and I say they rule!

I think this book is great and recommend everyone to read it
In Mary Anne and too many babies it shows the real life responsibility of being a parent just like Mary Anne and Logan and all the other babysitters had to do. It also shows that sometimes it is not possible to do everything at once, especially when you are looking after babies and small children at once. I think that the way all the babysitters handle the situation is something others should think about when in this position.

Mary Annes Brilliant Adventuree
This is a good book. Not the best book out of The Babysitters Club Series but good. Ann M Martain is a brilliant autor. Her book are very entertaining for children aged 9 - 13 they ar e a must read

Better effort
This was interesting coming from Ann Martin, Queen of All Happiness. I used to read the BSC religiously, but now looking back on the books, I think this one was one of the better. I mean, most have absolutely no plot, and are totally unrealistic, but this one is a pretty good example of a breakup. I don't think it's quite completely what a breakup is, but coming from Ann, this is a better one.

My Favorite BSC Book!
Looking back on my youth and teenage years, I used to read BSC religiously. I have all the books that were made from the time I was in 5th grade, up until I graduated high school a few years ago. When I first read Mary-ann vs. Logan, I was shocked because I really didn't think that they'd really do it. I was heartbroken, and happy at the same time. I found this book the other day in a box while I was moving, and in the front flap of the book I marked off each time I read it, and I had marked it a total of 15 times, so that's how good the book was! I recommend it to any BSC fan.

This book was great
You know, people are always saying that Anne's books are too unrealistic. I say that those people are just the "party poopers" as the eight-year olds would say. But look, she's a very positive person, in my opinion. Who wants to be writing about sex and drugs when you could imagine being happy on an almost-daily basis?I mean, come on! Which would be more interesting? I rest my case. I guess I'd better write my summary. This was a good book. It should that Mary Anne stood up for herself, and she knew that was she was doing was right; giving she and Logan some time to cool off. I think that that is what books are about; finding your problem, and your solution, even if your answer isn't the one you want to hear. Two thumbs up, Anne!

All right, Abby!
This book makes Abby Stevenson my favorite baby-sitter. She finds a breast cancer brochure and thinks her Gram Elsie has it. Then she takes action and goes to the library and looks up breast cancer and tries to see if she can do anything for her grandmother. Way to go, Abby!

Great book, fun to read
I picked this book for a book report because I like the Babysitter Club books. This book was a lot of fun to read. Even my Dad liked it. We took turns reading chapters out loud.

ABBY ROCKS!
Abby was always my favorite member of the BSC. She's bright, funny, assertive and has a heart of gold. I love her! She is by far and away the most appealing member of the series!

In this installment, Abby learns that her grandmother might have breast cancer. At a family gathering, Abby tries to reunite folks who have not seen each other in ages and acts as peacemaker. She tries to heal familial rifts. At the end of the story, she and her grandmother confront the tragic issue of breast cancer and it is to the author's credit that she does not slap on a formulaic happy ending. The grandmother's concerns about whether or not she has breast cancer remain unanswered, which is a pleasant departure from the standard. Abby and her grandmother connect and Abby learns about how she, too, can take measures to protect herself from this disease.

HOORAY FOR ABBY!

Claudia and The Worlds Cutest Baby
I really enjoyed this book, although it is not my favourite BSC book.I liked the way Ann Martin made Claudia's personal experience reflect her family expierience. Claud eventually realizes thet the way she feel s about a girl in her class is the way her Aunt,Peaches, feels about claud. Not the best BSC book i have read but still very very good. You'd be mad not to read it!

GREAT JUST READ IT ALREADY
it's very funny and entertaining for a book that came later in the series and as we all know the books that came later in the series were never as good as the older ones so yeah bottom line it's a good read

Will Peaches and Claud EVER get together again?
Yeah!!! One of my favorite characters has a new cousin! How exciting! My two cousins were born last year and I'm soooo happy! I enjoyed spending my time with them and with my aunt and uncle. It was great. It's too bad that Claud fought with Peaches. She must feel upset. Do they get a long again? You'll find out when you read CLAUDIA AND THE WORLD'S CUTEST BABY. You'll love it!
