Virginia Higdon's opion
I think this is an excillent book because it talks about teenage love an I like to read about teenage love. This is about a 14 year old girl named Melanie Braderman and she meets this boy, on Fire Island, named, Justin Hart, and she meets him by her brother hitting him on accident and when she sees him she falls in love. Mel spys on him and watches almost every move she makes. They finally meet and go out. Justin only wants to have a summer romace. When the summer is over and they move back to where they live Mel finds out that Justin was keeping a seceret from her that he was starring in a show called "It's No Joke" and he is the star of the show. When everyone finds out that Mel and Justin dated over the summer she gets so hummiliated at school in front of every one. Mel finally gets his phone number and then they spend a day together in New York city alone. If you like to read teenage romance then you will like to read this one. I think this the best book that Ann M. Martin has written and I wish there was a movie on it

I loved the book overall.
I loved the book because I love reading about teenage love and romance and seeing what happens in the end, whether they stay together or they split apart. In this book Melanie Braderman falls in love on Fire Island with "Hart- throb," Justin Hart, who is a teen actor. They meet because Mel's brother throws a frisbee and accidentally hits Justin with it, when the wind catches it. If you love reading about teenaged love you'll love this exciting book

So Good, So Good
This book was awesome. I never thought that Justin was a tv star. I was just as suprised as Melanie when I read the part about him being a star. It has all the things I'm looking for in a book. It has romance, twists, and it keeps you wanting to know more about their new found romance. I just wished it would have gave you a better picture of how their relationship worked out in the future. It needs a sequal.

accurate to a fault
the first time i read this book, i was 8, and my father had just recently been diagnosed with cancer. i rediscovered it at 10 (just after his death) and in 7th grade (the age of the book's protagonist); after that i never lost track of it again. i treasured the book like a secret diary because it so perfectly fit every emotion i'd ever felt, every struggle i'd ever faced. the parallels were so great to my own story that i refused to let a close friend borrow the book because of how much about me it would reveal. this book is well-written and deserves to be back in print. my struggles would have been a thousand times harder without this book to show me just how normal all of my fears were, and it's a book that any child or preteen who has lost a parent should consider reading.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!!
This is one of my all-time favorite books, and this is arguably Ms. Martin's best novel ever. I cried and cried reading this wonderful story, mostly because I lost my beloved grandmother to cancer. I identified with every struggle the O'Hara family faced in the wake of the death of their father, mostly I identified with Liza and Hope, who mourned in different ways. I can't recommend this simple but powerful book enough. I don't care how old you are. It's worth it.

This is a great story!
It has been a long time since I have read this book, so I don't remember a lot of the details, but this is one of my favorite books. As a former teacher I tend to be very selective about books for teenagers. This is a great story. It is also very realistic. Of course, I have a personal interest in the story - my mother has cardiomyopathy, the same disease that the main character's father has.

Competition is in Town!
I've read the book, The Truth About Stacey, and I love it! There are two problems. The BSC are competing with another groups of babysitters who are older and can stay out later. (However, their not the best babysitters around.) And two: Stacey's parents are too overprotective about Stacey's diabeties and they practically drag her to every doctor in America, in hope of finding a cure. Stacey's got to prove two things. One: The BSC give better service than the other club, and two: she can take care of herself very well, and is already getting plenty of help. The ending? Read and find out!

Stacey and The BSC are survivors!
Stacey's parents are overprotective with Stacey. She can't stand it! They keep dragging her to new doctors all the time. The BSC is competing aganist The Baby-Sitters Agency. The first time I read this book, I knew the BSC was going to win because the Baby-Sitters Agency has really bad sitters. The BSA send people to the BSC to make them look bad. But the BSC, of course, get the last word and wins thr war!

Competition is in town!
The Truth About Stacey is a really good book. I have it and I read it very, very, very often. This book is about when competition comes to town. I just love books with competition. The BSC discovers another group of older baby-sitters that can stay out later than they do, and have lots and lots of choices for you to chose from. Stacey's parents are kind of a problem too. Their number one mission in life--help Stacey, has gotten way out of hand. They believe that there is a cure for Stacey's diaease and they praticaly drag her to every doctor in America. Stacey is sure that she can prove two things to everyone: One, the BSC is a better survice then the other group of baby-sitters, and two, she can take care of herself and that she already has the best help that she can get for her disease. Now, all she has to do is prove them. How? Read this exciting book and join them to discover the answers!

An interesting book.
All of the BSC members gather at Kristy's house for a slumber party. They start thinking about their most vivid memory. They have lots, too! Kristy shares a baby-sitting experience. Stacey shares the story when she first got diabetes. Jessi shares the story when Squirt was born. Mary Anne remembers a trick Claudia and Kristy and herself did on one of her baby sitters. And lots of memories are more to come!

Bought It 2 Times!!!
I loved this book so much, I lost it, then I bought it again! I loved to read Stacey, and Mary-Anne's stories, because they were the stories from when they were not in the Babysitters Club. Mary-Anne tells about when Kristy, Claudia, and her, trick the babysitter, and how she becomes their friend in the end. Stacey's tells about the first time she found out she got diabetes. Buy this book! Our check it out in your library! But if you buy it, it comes with a chain or something! BUY IT!!!

A wonderful book that I recommend to anyone
I really, really loved the book, because the members of the BSC related to their most vivid memories in a most accurate way... huh? you think, in fact, what I mean is that they could remember their most vivid memories in detail. I really like the most vivid memories of Jessi, Shannon, Mary Anne and Kristy. Or should I say, the truth is I like all their vivid memories. Some of the memories were even a bit similiar to mine. Besides the book, I also liked the cover and the pictures.

Mary Anne's Revenge (Baby-Sitters Club Friends Forever, 8)

Sweet Revenge
Here's the deal. MaryAnne, as you know, has broken up with Logan. Cokie is still after Logan, and she's also still attacking MaryAnne (you know what I mean).

Both MaryAnne and Cokie are on the yearbook team, or whatever you call it (I read this a few days ago). Cokie is in charge, and she's most enthusiastic about the parts like "Most sporty", "Most likely to be seen in Beverly Hills", etc. Cokie is convinced that she fits in most of this categories, and is being mean to MaryAnne, spreading rumours and everything.

MaryAnne teams up (sort of) with Cary Retlin to get her revenge on Cokie. But in the end...
It really is Sweet Revenge. Read it and find out. The Real New MaryAnne is much better than the Old MaryAnne or the Not Good New MaryAnne. Hope you liked this review.Br

Yo go girl!
By far this is the best book in the bscff series. Mary Annedefinately proved she not just meek shy girl always behind someone todefend her. This time that punk Cokie finally was cut down to size, by Mary Anne. First Cokie made fun her by her big breakup with Logan, then lied about Logan saying that she begged him to get back with him. Also said he going with another girl{which was true}, then she sabotaged the yearbook ballots! . That's when Mary Anne did her own scheming as well, along with the BSC's rival, Cary.In this book you could see Mary Anne try on new attitudes and maturing from the old quiet Mary Anne! She even snuck out of her house! Now that's major improvement! Also in this book Mary Anne and her parents settled long overdue conflicts.Mary Anne has proven herself to Logan, BSC, Cokie, the whole school,... and herself that she is here and here to stay!

A Wonderful Book
I have always loved the books on Mary Ann. I am, like Mary Ann, also very shy and sensitive. After reading this book I walked away feeling braver and stronger. I love the new Mary Ann because she is not only her caring old self but also a new more confident person. This book is really an insperation. It also shows you that when you belive in yourself, with a little help from your friends, you can do anything. This book is a true treasure.

Abby and the Mystery Baby
One day, Abby (a BSC member) comes home to find a baby on her front porch. She naturally calls the police, but the police have no idea where the baby came from. It's up to Abby and the rest of the BSC to discover the origin of the mystery baby, whom Abby, sister Anna, and mother dubbed Eli. The truth about the baby is startling, yet pleasing to Abby and Anna.

This book was incredible!
Abby and the Mystery Baby was really, really good. One of my friends gave it to me, and I couldn't put it down. It has an incredibly surprising ending, and you would never know that Abby's mom was in on the whole thing!!!

BABY POWER!
I never really liked Abbey when she came into the BSC but after this book it really shows that Abbey has the power of a mum,a babysitter and a good freind all rooled into one!

I loved it.
I liked the book because even though the club goes through some tough times they always are able to pull through it. In this book the baby-sitters club falls apart and Kristy, the president of the BSC says that there is going to no longer be a club, so they stop having meetings, and send out flyers saying there is no more Baby-sitters Club. To find out the ending read Kristy's Worst Idea and you are in for a surprise

The BSC are FRIENDS FOREVER!
What a wonderful book! This proves that the BSC are meant to be together forever! The club nearly breaks up, but realizes that their friendship is too precious for them to end. What a sweet, joyful ending! I cheered inside along with the BSC when they reunited(and tender Mary Anne was so happy she cried). It was interesting what went through the characters' minds, like when Jackie was hospitalized after a serious accident & poor Kristy blamed herself. Another interesting scene that illustrates how Claudia & Mary Anne worked out their conflict shows how people can be different & accept each others' differences. I like how when Claudia was telling Mary Anne how she felt, even though it was so painful for Mary Anne to hear that she wept, Mary Anne was still willing to listen to Claudia's side of the story. I know that even after the BSC graduate from high school & head off to different directions for college, their bond will remain solid forever...and ever and ever...

A very meaningful book
This book shows how important friends are. When the club starts having arguements Kristy decides that there will be no more BSC. Then when Kristy is sitting for the walking disaster Jackie and his brothers Shea and Archie, Jackie falls from a tree and breaks his leg. Kristy and the others reunite in the hospital and the club is together once again.

This is one book that I would recommend to anyone!
Abby hates February, too hot for some things and too cold for others which is why she decides to help renovate dark woods to greenwoods . She finds out about a secret society at Dark woods and the death of a journalist who was looking into the secret society. Then it becomes more than a February distraction. I would recommend this book to all ages because it is not complicated and is easy to follow but i think it was a bit unrealistic at times.I would rate it 41/2. A great book on the whole.

Its the best mystery ever !
It was my seventh mystery read. The first 5 mysteries were just borrowed and the sixth one was the first I bought.I was discouraged by that, I never bought any mystery any more. But mom seemed to like it rather than the other books I read.So she gave me one for my birthday.I liked it because Abby and I both have asthma and a mom that works far from home. Idecided to collect as many as I can of these mysteries.I now have all up to mystery #28.I stareted collectin this since my birthday last month.

A Great Book!
This is one of the best books I have ever read, Abby and the rest of the BSC help at a club, and then the action starts. I thought they were mean not to let certain people get in. But the rest is O.K.!

One of the best books I have ever read
This book is great. All the 10 kids really want a pet and keep getting pets, but eventually they have to give them away.I also like this book because of the ending and every chapter is from someone else's point of view.I loved this book and I'm sure you will too.

Ten Kids, No Pets
This used to be my favorite book when I was younger and I still like it. This book is about a family with ten kids who aren't allowed to have any pets and their adventures while they try to convince their parents to let them have a pet. It's sequal, Eleven Kids, One Summer is also very good.

A great book
