One of a Kind
Although this book is miniature it is packed with information about your sun-sign. The feature of this book I enjoyed most was that it paired your sign with each of the other eleven signs (including itself; Leo and Leo). For example Leo and Gemini. It then described the chances of a relationship between the two. Another feature I enjoyed was the different chapters about Leo. Such as your talents and careers, body and mind, and Leo at a glance. I know that you will enjoy this small book as much as I have.

GREAT INTRODUCTION TO INFINITY!
This book was my first introduction to the infinite. Although it is easy enough for undergraduate study, all will find Zippin's book scintillating and fascinating. A great read for anyone interested in this subject!

An informed and informative body of expert commentary
Collaboratively compiled and collectively edited by Chris Stolwijk, Sjraar Van Heugten, Leo Jansen, and Andreas Bluhm, Van Gogh's Imaginary Museum: Exploring The Artist's Inner World is a 150th anniversary tribute celebration of Vincent Van Gogh's March 30th birthday. Inspired by "Vincent's Choice: The Musee Imaginaire of Van Gogh" (an impressive art exhibition at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam), this 320-page coffee table artbook offers an informed and informative body of expert commentary in the form of ten essays on Van Gogh and the artists his masterpieces inspired. Enhanced with more than 300 images (including 196 plates in full color), as well as excerpts from letters by Vincent Van Gogh, Van Gogh's Imaginary Museum is a superbly presented, enthusiastically recommended contribution to personal, professional, academic Art History and Art Appreciation reference collections and supplemental reading lists. Van Gogh's Imaginary Museum would also make a perfect community library "Memorial Fund" acquisition selection.

easily understood for the hard to understand
i'm just as equally impressed about this book if not more than my husband. I thought it may help him out a bit in the field in which he chose as his career. especially when he's never been an avid reader, to my surprise he couldn't put the book down. he felt as though he was getting "hands on training". It's actually put him ahead of the gang. such helpful info paid off. He was given a raise due to the knowledge he had read in your book, that i got him for a birthday gift. this book turned out to be the "book of knowledge". thanks again!

Literature from a scientist
He's the world-class physicist who got Einstein to send a letter to Roosevelt about building a Bomb before the Nazis. He's also a world-class writer. These short stories are superb; prove one doesn't need to lead the life of a writer to write magnificently. A great read on a rainy night. Transparent and stylish, these stories will last.

keep your next rainy week-end!
Forgot the bloody non-reader that always say "it's too long" " dusty book just good for literature's teachers", etc. War and peace is just a really good book and you can't classifing its author! First, it's a book of love, passion and firsts excitements. But it is not a rose-water novel, it's a suspense's one. You gasp with the famous characters and learn the price, sometimes too heavy, of Peace. Because there is the War. Why? You do not really know. But who known? And the War is a catalyst of the real expression of personality. With their remorses and regrets, the characters grow up. You will cry and laugh, sometimes in the mean time. And please, don't search a phylosophical meaning in this story, just take advantage of it! So keep your next rainy week-end; turn on your answer machine; say to your friends that you're not at home; put your alarm-clok to thinh to eat and dive in the story because when you will begin, you won't stop before the end! And after... read Anna Karenine!

This is a Gem of a book!
Anyone finding themselves intemidated by the works of Tolstoy should start off with reading this book. These three short stories, "Where Love Is, There God Is Also", "The Three Hermits", and "What Men Live By", are some of the most powerful words I have seen put to paper. Those troubled by today's problems owes it to themselves to read this book and absorb the relevance that in fact is timeless. Even those finding a lack of belief in God will be moved and questioned their beliefs. Any of Tolstoy's works are a must read in everyone's lifetime, but these stories remain special to this reader.

Where Love Is, There God Is Also
A kindly, lonely shoe cobbler prays that the Lord will pay him a visit. Three people in need come his way, and he helps each one of them, and he realizes that when he helps the "least of these" he is serving the Lord. Great story with vivid insight. A must read.
