This little book is second only to Terry Underhill's _Heaths and Heathers_. The photographs are excellent, and the plant descriptions are quite thorough. One note: published in England, so there is very little attention paid to hardiness problems.

Not only do I enjoy reading this story to my grandchildren but it brings me so much pleasure also. The dialogue between the characters and the author's ability to take you into their burrows and natural habitat is a joy. The gentleness of the grandfather and the setting of the countryside and the farm area clearly show the author has brought fond memories from her childhood into adulthood which she so readily shares with us. The illustrations enhance the already vivid word picutes the author has already painted for us. The introduction of Hedley to us from her first book and the continuation of his adventures through her imagination makes this book by Valerie Walker one I not only keep on my own shelf but also keep copies on my grandchildren's shelf to read over and over.

The author has obviously spent many hours on detailing the highlighs of the trails in addition to researching historiacal facts.Trail directions are clear and concise.

It's truly amazing to find a book that lives out its title. After puting the things I've learned from this book into practice I see it really works. It was easy to read and understand but has enough technical information to make each topic lagitamite. Love it and will continue to use it as a referance.

I found this book extremely helpful in its presentation of the dynamics of psychological abuse, a much ignored phenomenon, and how women react to the abuse. How patriarchy contributes is addressed, and case studies make it an interesting read. Helpful for clinicians, researchers, and the public.

"I Shot Andy Warhol" was an amazing movie with a great screenplay that swept the characters of the film through the surrealism and strangeness of the sixties, and this is the screenplay. It's great how the mental degeneration of the main character is depicted so subtly.

This book is by no stretch of the imagination the best resource I have ever seen for the Christian businesswoman. It covers every angle imaginable. I wish I had bought at least 10 to give as gifts when I bought mine a few years ago. Your mindset and your business will soar as a result of the info shared in this book.
