Bay Tanner is back!
You'll feel like an old friend has come for a visit in this third Bay TAnner mystery. As Bay winds her way through the Lowcountry, you'll almost be able to smell the marsh. When a young woman she's never seen or heard of before shows up in the local jail claiming to be a distant cousin, Bay has no idea the path that the two of them are about to embark on--one that could claim both their lives. A great read just as we've come to expect from Kathy Wall.

strong thriller
Former financial consultant Bay Turner convalesces at her Hilton Head home still recovering from the murder of her spouse. However, when she is asked to help her twenty something fifth half-cousin Mercer Mary Prescott who was arrested as a vagrant and locked up in Beaufort County jail, reluctantly Bay gets involved. Though a relative, Mercer is actually a stranger. Bay gets her dad's friend Judge Talbot Simpson to set bail. Mercer is freed.

Still Mercer remains in trouble due to a federal trespass charge for illegally entering the Savannah River nuclear plant. When Mercer flees thugs, goons and cops pursue. With other family woes descending on her, Bay joins the chase only to become involved in the deadliest family secret of all, PERDITION HOUSE.

PERDITION HOUSE is a strong thriller that seems almost out of control, but is deftly kept in line by author Kathryn R. Wall. The story line centers on Bay, who just wants a little peace of mind, but her relatives think otherwise. Instead of domestic tranquillity, Bay concludes that blood may be thicker than water and she somehow seems to get sucked into storms caused by her extended family starting with Mercer. This terrific tense thriller takes readers on quite a ride.

WOW!...Fantastic Children's Book !
My child just cant get enough. We read it over and over again. This is one of those stories that just does'nt get old no matter how many times we read it. The illustrations and characters are beautifully painted with details that my child continues to find hidden in the pages every time we read it. It's just a whole lot of fun! This is a real classic tale with a fun twist. Lasky and Jarvis make a beautiful union on this story and we look forward to more. The paper and printing is first rate and binding is built to last. Dont miss this one for Holloween and yearly bedtime reading!

All the kids loved this book so much.
I read Porkenstein to my little brother and his kindergarden class. All of the kids in his class loved this book so much they wanted to keep it and show there mom and dads.

It's a funny story and really cool pictures. The ending is the best.

Presidents As Candidates: Inside the White House for the Presidential Campaign
Published in Paperback by Routledge (2003)
Author: Kathryn Dunn Tenpas

Presidents As Candidates
Great insight from the most prolific writer in the most prolific Dunn (no e) family. Compelling, humorous, exuberent , stupendous, supercalafragilistic, expee, aladoucous....what else can I say. I feel as though I know the author. My only negative comment is that I wish there were more pictures...of Kathryn.

Amazing perspective and fills a "GAP" in Pres. Elections
I truly loved this book. it is a bargain at twice the price. Can't afford not to get this anthology on the public and private lives on presidents. Especially in an election year, you can not pass the opportunity to get behind the scenes and experience this first hand. After reading this, I felt like I almost grew up with the author. Excellente'!

A Different Approch
I have read many romance stories and never have I found Romance, History and Fantasy all wrapped up in one novel, until now. This author has a talent far beyond other standard romance writers. I was captivated while reading this unique style of writing. I am anxious to see the next book this author produces and soon I hope.

Fascinating Thesis
A fascinating thesis, convincingly argued and painstakingly documented. Ms. Karczewska is to be heartily commended for producing a volume of such scholarly integrity. Her work is a major contribution to the study of medieval literatures, church history, and cultures. Every scholar interested in the French middle ages must read this book!

A great book for young readers
If you can find a copy of this book, I recommend it highly as perfect for young readers. The stories and poems are very short and to the point so a child won't be overwhelmed by a huge plot or excess of words. This was one of my first books and one from which my mom taught me to read at 3 years of age. I hope to do the same with my daughter.

EXCELLENT
When I was a little girl my mom would read this book to my sister & I every nite. We always looked forwarded to having a story read from the book. I am 26 now and I treasure the book very much, even with out the cover intact! My sister is pregnant and I would like to order the book for her so her child can enjoy what we did. Please make the book available soon!!! Thank You.

Right Choices
I teach a Bible class to preschoolers and I purchased this book as a guide for my "how to be good lessons," which I use in conjuction with the Bible lessons. I start each lesson with a "how to be good lesson" found in Right Choices and then proceed to the Bible lesson. The structure of the book is great - one subject per story, simple questions to ask the children, a prayer and a scripture. The children grasp the concepts and are quickly learning the basics of how God would have us live.

Great for family devotions with very young children.
We picked up this book while looking for a guide for our family devotions with our three year old. The structure of the book is great - one subject per story, simple questions for you to ask your child, a prayer and a scripture. Our three year old grasps the concepts quickly and is learning the basics of how God would have us live. We have enjoyed the book as parents and our son asks to have devotional time and brings us the book.
