P.S. God, Can You Fly: Heartfelt and Hope-Filled Prayers of Children

Many treasures
Preachers are like beachcombers. We look for treasures small enough to fit into sermons and valuable enough to warrant a place in them. In R. Wayne Willis's book, P.S. God, Can You Fly? there are many such treasures. Using prayers left by children in his hospital chapel, he writes concise meditations on Christian living and believing. He writes clearly and well, offering references and examples which substantiate and deepen his message. Given to me as a gift by a friend who knows and has worked with him, I am finding P.S. God, Can You Fly? to be a gift. And so, I thank Wayne Willis and commend the gift to others.

The Questioning Spririt
Filled with wisdom, compassion and insight. Each essay is a unique interpretation of a child's simple prayer and reflects the questioning spirit that is universal to all humanity.

Penguins
I like this book because it can tell u and me alot about penguins but i think that this site is bad because is doesent show u the inside of this book to be better that other wed sites. My suggestion to the company if they read these is that u can do better.

Great photos and text between the same covers!
Picture books usually have boring text, and nature books usually have photos that look like the ones used to prove the existence of the Loch Ness monster. This book has great color photos of all 17 species of penguins AND informative, readable text. Lynch obviously cares about his subject and his readers. For those who want to know more, he even includes a bibiliography. If you are a nature photographer, bird lover, or penguin fanatic, this book is for you.

a gorgeous record of a spectacular exhibit
This exquisite volume is a MUST for anyone who loves 19th and 20th century American landscape art. From Keith Jacobshagen's breathtaking "Crow Call (Near the River)" to the works by Grant Wood and Alexandre Hogue, to the photos by Wolcott and Gerster, this catalog is a strong document, chronicalling the changing face of, and attitudes toward, the prairies. Buy it for the stunning artwork, cherish it for the depth of feeling

THE BOOK on this subject!
If you missed the exhibit during its tour, you must own a copy of this beautifully produced tribute to the art of the midwestern landscape

best tape I've ever heard
This is the most inspirational tape that I've ever heard

Interview with Dr. Wayne Dyer is superb!
As an author, therapist and a college educator I routinely recommend Tony's interview with Wayne Dyer to my students and clients. In fact, I often play that section of the tape for my classes. Wayne Dyer reveals the tremendous work he put into marketing his book YOUR ERRONEOUS ZONES to make it the best selling book of the decade. Nevertheless, it didn't seem like work inasmuch as he was doing what he loved, rather then trying to make money. The tape espouses the myth: Success is merely good luck . . . just ask any failure. If you want to learn to believe in yourself and follow your dream then this interview is for you. I highly recommend the interview to all aspiring authors when I give seminars on "How to Publish Your Book." Very lively and humorous.

Superb book, if you're interested in improving!
This is the most up-to-date edition of a kind of minor classic, in that it is the first (and still the best) university-appropriate textbook concerned with the applying psychology to improving the world -- and especially oneself. This is the book that first set me on a very successful path of self-improvement, about 12 years ago. I recommend it, of course.

Psychology Applied to Modern Life/Adjustment at the Turn of
Covers many aspects of psychology for the professional and lay person. The Sixth Edition makes suggestions for additional readings, in the area an individual may desire specialization. This is a terrific reference book for your library.

The Quack Corp - an incredible book
I recently read Mr. Wells' book retelling his experiences in the Pacific during WWII. I was very impressed with his story telling ability and thoroughly enjoyed the book. I have known Mr. Wells most of my life and had no idea that he had been, seen and done the things that he described. This book makes you realize just how great the heroes of WWII are, and how everyday "Joes" rose to the occasion that was presented by just being there. They made us all proud of their tencaity, grit and courage. I am an avid reader and highly recommend this book. I read it on a cross country airline flight..I just couldn't put it down. What a wonderful reading experience.

An excellent first person account of a Marine in the Pacific
Art Wells, a Marine on the USS Pennsylvania on December 7, 1941 relates his experiences on that day and during the rest of the Pacific War in "The Quack Corps." Included are Mr. Wells Pearl Harbor experience, where he was wounded, his time on the Pennsylvania after her repair, time on the USS New Mexico and the time he spent with DUKW's in the invasions of Saipan and Okinawa. An extremely interesting and informative book, one that is not to be missed!

quizzles- great stuff
I think that anyone should buy quizzles. They are very fun, and they challenge people's minds. As my teacher would say," Think Already

fun puzzles
This quizzels are so much fun. Once you get started you can't stop. My teacher introduced them to me in the quest program. I asked the name of them and she told me where I could find them. All of the quizzels are like little mysteries. They start of pretty easy but then get really hard. I think that these quizzle are amazingly fun. Wayne Williams sure did a good job creating them.

Excellent Book, and AVAILABLE NOW
Wayne C. Robinson's descriptive talents are forceful enough to send shivering scenes from tbe world of the Raptor Saga into your mind's eye, and you are in suspense as to what will happen next. His characters are strong, and I found this story to be very exciting; hard to put down once I started reading it.

The author is very talented--I believe this book will become an excellent movie, in that it is unusual, and original, well-written. This is not the kind of story that fades with time, but rather, you will anxiously await the release of Part II...

A Great Page Turner!
If you like adventure stories, you will really enjoy this book. Wayne does a great job of building his characters, and carrying his story line. There is plenty of action and adventure in this book. I especially enjoyed the special relationship the main character has with his animal friends, and how he keeps the suspense rolling! I read this book to my son, and he loved it too. We are anxiously waiting for the next one, so hurry up Wayne!

Beautiful Book
This was one of my favorite books as a child and I have been looking for another copy of it. It has beautiful illustrations-- they show visually that same dark magical quality as some Grimm's fairy tales do literally. I highly recommend this book.

Have been searching for this childhood favorite
My sister and I enjoyed this book as children and have been looking for it for a couple of months since our parents recently moved and it has been lost. The illustrations are incredible - really works of art in and of themselves! The story is classic and is a little above children of a young age (at times it's chilling) but together with the illustrations, it makes for one memorable book.
