Don't waste time ! This book will make a difference!
Not Crazy, Just Enlightened not only "enlightens" but awakens the reader to examine his/her own state of spiritual awareness. The author uses her own personal life experience and professional case/sessions through hypnosis and meditation to prove how we can (and should) pay attention and trust our intuition when it comes to "co-incidences." Not Crazy, Just Enlightened is unpretentiously honest and powerfully hopeful no matter how much of a skeptic you may be. A Must Read for anyone even remotely interested in attaining their higher good.

Not Crazy, Just Wonderful
Just finished the book, and I couldn't put it down; finished in one night. It easy to read, heartfelt, and kept me glued. I intend to re-read it in a few days. I am telling all my friends to get this book, and they really need to tell their friends. This author has changed my way of thinking, and maybe my life. I really do feel enlightened, and I know now that what I have experienced does not make me crazy. It was good to know that I am not alone. This book's a keeper.

pageturner!
I found this book so exciting that I had to stay up all night to finish it. Fiction could have not created a more complex set of characters than Debra Holtz's family, both adopted and genetic. The sense of place and time from her childhood Chicago to her adult California is terrific. I was facinated by the tremendous inner resources that Holtz developed to reconcile her personal story. Her writing is wonderful. The book is gripping.

Wow!
What a great read! Debra Holtz bares her soul in this riveting account of her search for hr biological parents. Although slow to start, once she begins the search in earnest I couldn't put the book down!

The nitty gritty details are fascinating, and the shady Mob-associated parts like her Chicago records being "lost", then discovering that they were in a mysterious warehouse fire, drive the story along.

The personal details are also memorable - Debra Holtz really "tells all" and lets the reader know just how it felt to dig so far under the surface of buried family history. She comes to terms with her past at the end in a truly moving scene. Although a real story, this would make a great movie! I hope someone in Hollywood snaps it up!

A MUST HAVE book!
I teach ESL courses to adults and children alike and no book has helped more than is book. It is a new book EVERY time we read it because I can add and change things with a touch of a button and it just NEVER gets old or boring. I also can record in different languages or add little tid-bits here and there and customize it to the reader. This is just a MUST HAVE book for the young and old. My 8 yr old recorded his voice for my 1 year old and it has now become MY treasure of his voice reading to his sister.

Unique, delightful, enjoyable, and very strongly recommended
Oh, Please Help Me Save This Tree is a remarkable and unique children's storybook, the first in "Family Heirloom & Literacy" series that comes with a special built-in recorder allowing a parent or caregiver to record their voice so that a child could be read to and/or taught to read anywhere and anytime. This recorder is not an ordinary cassette or CD accompanying the book; but an easy-to-use device built right into the book. All a child has to do is press the buttons marked 1 through 7, or the Special Message button, to play back the recorded audio messages corresponding to different pages. Unique, delightful, enjoyable, and very strongly recommended, Oh, Please Help Me Save This Tree is illustrated with warm, engaging color drawings, and presents a wonderfully entertaining story to young readers enhanced with a truly innovative audio feature.

One Small Candle: Sarah's Story
Sarah teaches that with hope "Life is Good". Despite the struggles and trials she faced in life Sarah always found Hope; life was worth every second she could live on earth, no matter how long or short it could be.
This is a great book for those trying to understand the thousands of deaths caused in the World Trade Center tradegym, why people have to suffer, and that death is as sacred and purposeful as life .
A great book with how to deal with the loss of a Loved one.
This is a great book for anyone who has a family member, Friend or loved one with a serious illiness.
This book gives a deep understanding of the three most important questions we will ever ask:

1. Where did we come from
2. Why are we here on earth
3. Where do we go when we die.

What you learn from Sarah will change your life forever.

A God sent book for those helping other overcome adversity
This is a tremendous story of finding joy and up lift in a time of adversity. I think those who have dealt with terminal family members (as I have) will find solace, comfort, and new insights. The author helps us see how to deal with these situations and actually find joy in the time we have with our family members. I think this is a wonderful book, and a loving story.

People who have had to help other deal with debilitating and life threatening illnesses will see themselves in this story and find way to deal with their feelings and those of the ill family members.

Real World Application
I appreciated this book because it provides useful information that I can use to evaluate questions that my business deals with everyday. The case studies discuss real-world practical and cost benefits gained by installing fiber over other last mile solutions (like DSL, fixed wireless, and cable). It also provides insights into the most promising uses for optical networks, such as municiple fiber, converged telecom networks, fiber to the home, and enterprise networks. A must for understanding fiber optics today.

A Tech Guide for Non-Techies
As a professional working on the non-technical side of the fiber optics business, I found this guide very accessible and helpful. The book gives a practical, non-technical breakdown of optical networks. The technology tutorials on optical components, network architectures, and installation issues provided a good overview without being overly detailed. A great book for anyone selling, manufacturing or installing fiber optics.

Overkill

A must read for all health-savvy Americans
Overkill serves up a blend of well-written commentary on the very operation of our medical system in a clear and concise manner, along with examples practical enough to apply to all of our lives. By virtue of assessments, readers can experience why levels of resistance continue to rise year after year, generation after generation. Seemingly innocuous chemicals designed to better your well-being often disarm potent antibacterial drugs from doing their prescribed job. It was only a few decades ago that penicillin was the panacea for Americans the nation over, but continued use has left many requiring higher and higher allotments -- subsequently leading to its virtual impotency. Before you down another pill or take a spoonful of medicine, pick-up a copy -- you'll be glad you did.

Great Book
This book is a wake up call! Thank you!

Reader's Digest Great Big Book of Children's Games
This is a wonderful book and I really enjoyed learning more about games to play with my two children. The author is great, Debra has four kids of her own!

A wonderful idea book for all ages.
Ms. Wise does an excellent job thinking of terrific games for kids with helpful explanations and innovative twists on old favorites. One problem is that the age ranges are sometimes too restrictive. My 4-year-old loves to play 20 questions and "Wrong!", games they suggested for 8's. Try things out and have fun!

Keep You on Your Toes!
From the moment I started this book I couldnt put it down. Debra is a friend of mine who has much talent. The Seed of David is a fictional story that could happen to any average joe. The book is actually mind blowing when you realize that something so outrageous could happen to anyone, and this is why I gave this book five stars! Excitement from the beginning to the end.

gripping medical thriller
i loved this book. i got it around christmas time and read it at work during slow periods. it was so intense that i read it in under 2 days; every chance i could get. i can't wait for the sequel to see how 'david's seed' turns out, whether she will be evil or more in tune with her environment

A Stranger's Kiss

Two great reads in one book....
WINTER'S EDGE (Anne Stuart) Molly Winters didn't even know her own name. All she knew was that she awoke in a hospital with no memory of her name, her face, or the husband the nurse said came to the hospital when she was unconcious. When she was taken home to Winter's Edge, a house she seemed to love, it was fraught with tension. Her husband seemed to hate her and was looking foward to having a speedy divorce. Soon accidents begin to happen and she can't help but suspect Patrick, her sexy and mysterious husband. Then she starts remembering things that don't seem to fit with the image she had made for herself with the people of Winter's Edge. This is a very quick read with a seemingly immature twenty three year old who married a man ten years older because she was in love with him. Everyone in her life except Patrick took advantage of her naivete and she soon realized that he was the only one who wouldn't let her down.

SAFE BY HIS SIDE (Debra Webb) Jack Raine is a wanted man. The U.S. government wants him brought in and the head of the family he infiltrated to bring down wants him dead. When a mysterious woman turns up on his doorstep during a storm, he knows he can't dare to trust her. When paid assasins follow in her wake, he makes a run for it and takes "Kate" with him. Soon Raine and Kate are involved in a deadly game of cat and mouse with the desire escalating between them more and more as each day passes. A very quick read that will hook you!

Don't miss it!

reprints but well worth it!!
The first reprint of his duo is Anne Stuart's Winter Edge. I reviewed this and got many emails moaning it was suddenly out of print. Well, here is your chance to catch a nifty Stuart gem no longer in print. Molly woke in the hospital to find she could not recall anything of her life, not the dead man who was found in her car, the 350 thousand dollars - nor the husband. This book was a little rushed because of being a series, and would have been much better as a big book, but it still is a very good read. Molly leaves the hospital to return to Winter's Edge, the only home she has ever know. Yet suddenly, she is a stranger there. She does not recall her husband, nor the various people in their lives, and she especially does not to know the woman everyone says she is. She does not like the clothes she wears, does not like the bedroom she supposedly decorated, and she cannot believe she behaved as everyone said she did. She knows Patrick, her husband hates her, but not why. And she does not know who is trying to kill her. Stuart delivers as she always does, just wishes this one had a little more room to deliver fully.

The second tale by Debra Webb is a Harlequin Intrigue
reprint Safe by His Side (Intrigue, 583) which is also out of print. Is one in a series of Intrigues centred around a private detective firm called the Colby Agency. In this one, Kate is determined to get her 'man' even if it meant tracking him down in the great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. The man she is after is Raine a former government agent. He has been betrayed and set up by someone with in the agency, and until he can find out who he is running for his life. Kate tracks him down, but just as she is about to move in she is attacked by the people after him and looses her memory. She winds up at Raines hideout, no memory and must now depend upon the very man she was tracking to save them both.
