A Nursing Student's Opinion
After reviewing many Drug Guides and Reference Books I purchased the Lippincott. I have found it to be an invaluable support tool and source of information. The format is very organized, straight-forward and thorough. It is the one drug guide that contains all information needed for pharmacology, everyone else in class that purchased "other" drug guides have borrowed my Lippincott to find information that their books did not provide. Most of these fellow students have since purchased a Lippincott and tossed the "other" drug guides aside. It is the only drug guide that I will use now and in the future.

I'd give this software 10 stars if I could
Don't let the price scare you off - I've purchased dozens of software programs and books and I can say HANDS DOWN this is the best purchase I have ever made. LWW's Organisms Central gives you one central source for organism information. You can use it to look up unknown organisms by characteristic, or to find the data on the organisms you are working with. Four information packed sections cover Bacteriology, Mycology, Parasitology and Virology. Comprehensive search utilities give you access to detailed information about organisms at any level. Comprehensive Taxonomy and Species Indices make it easy to find an organism quickly. Use the Characteristic Index to craft your search. You can highlight known charateristics such as cell shape, color, size, habitat, metabolism, and biochemical test results. Your search results are displayed on an easy-to-use selection pad ranked by matching characteristics. You will find the data you need to confirm your identification, along with useful illustrations. You no longer need to struggle with Bacteriology Manuals to find the answer to your unknown organism. According to the makers this software will be updated annually in order to keep it up-to-date with the various changes that are taking place in the field of microbiology.

An excellent autobiography of a man's fight against racism
I read this book on two different occasions, and both times have allowed me to learn more and recognize the rise and struggle of black americans in society today. This autobiography focuses on a black man's fight against racism either through his own experiences or the environment in which he lived. IT is a truly insightful book filled with anger, frustration and humor on how it has taken so long for blacks to increase their recognition in today's society.

Great Parent and Teacher Resource
This book is packed with activities that you can do with your children before they enter kindergarten, and progresses through to money and time skills. I have used this book with my children, aged 4 and 6, and have found it a great resource, requiring materials that are readily available around the house. I imagine it would also be useful for any elementary teacher. The activities are simply written and easy to follow and each is accompanied by an illustration.

Racing a mirror in a nutshell
The book "Mirror Racing" by Guy Wilkins is an essential resource for any of the 70 000 mirror owners out there who are serious about racing at club, national or international level. The book deals in detail with essential elements such as starts, finishes and most places in between, and also cover issues vital in boat setup and maintenance. This is one of the most comprehensive manual on Mirror racing I have read, and there are no similar books that compare with the detail and quality of the information. Other books such as Sailing the Mirror by Roy Partridge do not delve as deep into the intricacies of sailing and racing, and accordingly are not as valuable resource as this book. While it deals with complex issues the book can also be used by beginners/intermediates looking to catch up to the rest of the fleet. Overall a thoroughly worthwhile read that will benefit any mirror sailor, be them 8, 80 or any age in between.

Notes Full of Medicine / A Spoonful of Notes
From laughter to tears and back again, and again. There is truly not enough to say about the author and her God given gifts she shares through Music Therapy. The book evidences the spiritual workings in lifes challenges and complexities that enable this author to touch, to empathise, to lessen pain, comfort families, bring joy, and to set to music a legacy for those walking through the fire. What an outstanding book of trial, coping, hope, love and triumph.

A Darling Book
This is a darling book with true life illustrations. This book was recommended by the Before Five In A Row book. I ordered it used and received the book in perfect condition. It's a good book for exploring nature for children ages 2-5. Also, the illustrations provide good examples of nature, in the case you want to do nature journaling.

A great break for educators!
Mr. Wilkins was my principal at Bruce Drysdale Elementary and what a wonderful man he was! He has captured a side of education that all of us need now and then, light-hearted comments from children and their parents. Whatever the subject, children are brutally honest and often see the world more clearly than we do.(As some of the notes from parents show, we often know where the kids get their ideas about things!) As an educator myself, I enjoy picking up this book when I need a reminder of why I am in the profession. It reminds me of the joys I experience daily with my own students and their parents!

Terrific book!
This book is the best work on the subject of persuasion -- whether for juries or for any purpose -- that I've ever read. Many case histories; lots of thorough detail; and crystal clear from start to finish. -- Suzette Haden Elgin, Ph.D

She was told to take it easy. Friends and relatives invited her to stay with them for the brief time left to her. But Mesannie refused to go quietly. With her last bit of money she bought Tarzan, an ex-summer camp horse, and with only 32 dollars left in her pocket set out, on horseback, from her home in Maine.
Her goal - California.
"Last of the Saddle Tramps" is Mesannie Wilkins' recollection of this 7000 mile journey. This tale is a wonderful mixture of the humorous horsey incidents (like her Tennessee Walker trying to walk back to Tennessee), the incredible physical hardships and the wonderful hospitality offered to her by her fellow Americans during the ride.
Mesannie Wilkins' style of writing is, much like herself, warm, humorous and unassuming. She has a wonderful gift for, with only a few lines, painting accurate images of the people encountered on the trail.
Most importantly, however, this is a tale of the incredible courage of one woman who, faced with seemingly unsurmountable odds, refused to give up on her life and her dream. Mesannie Wilkins is a true inspiration, today as much as during her lifetime.
