This book is a must have for individuals in the wastewater treatment field. I have used this book to instruct and train operators in preparation of certification exams. It covers all aspects and processes of wastewater treatment.

The included workbook has perforated pages that makes it easy to make copies to work out the problems. Anyone who studies the material in this book will have no problems with the math portion of certification exams.

It would be nice if the workbook was available on CD-ROM

This book is layed out very well - one project per page with all the ingredients needed right at the top. Many of the projects utilize styles or techniques of famous artists with suggestions on how you can expose children to their works while still in a fun creative environment. The book is written from an artist's perspective exploring texture, color, space etc. We love the projects and vignettes about the artists.

This is a wonderful introduction for any age to the world of Robert Burns and the history of Scotland. It gives one a deeper appreciation for the man and his works. I'd recommend it for any age.

I own a lot of cookbooks, and of them all, Joanne Weir's books are the BEST! All of her recipes include fresh and wholesome foods, and they are SIMPLE and yet DELICIOUS! The pictures are beautiful, and all of her recipes work. Joanne is a gifted chef, teacher and cookbook writer.

A little information about 10 baby animals is given in this book. The name of the baby, what they eat or something about them that is unique is included. One short page is written about each of these baby animals: raccoons, foals (baby horse), fawns, lambs, ducklings, coyote pups, elephant calves, lion cubs, zebra colts, kittens and puppies. This book is great for introducing small children to the animal world. I would have given this book 4 stars because it is made on paper that will wear out quickly, but the price makes up for this.

A friend of ours bought this adorable book set for our daughter and she absolutely loves it! Not only does she enjoy reading the books, but she loves carrying the little case around from room to room by it's little strap and fitting the books into the box and taking them out. I plan to take this set with us when we travel as it offers a nice variety of books that cover ABCs, numbers, shapes, and opposites all with colorful animals in a neat small package.

Every child should have a copy of this book. A friend bought me a copy when I was little. We read it many times. In this story. Rose's Uncle Tony was celebrating his birthday. So Rose, Dorothy, Mama, Papa, Aunt Helen and Uncle Gilbert and their kids, Raymond and Peter all went down to the Beach to celebrate the annual event. They had a picnic supper and swam in the ocean and built sand castles. They also watched fireworks at the end of the day. We still read this book aloud. I am sorry that it is out of print as I would love to purchase some copies for my little cousins Michael and Olivia, when we see them at the beach 4th of July Week this summer. Bring it Back Please!

"Because It's My Body!" is a book about PREVENTION. It really does teach children how to act in ways that make them less likely to be touched when they don't want to be. It is unique in its non-threatening tone, never suggesting that anyone has bad intentions. Anatomy is never mentioned. The book includes a wonderful and useful educational note to parents on this topic. The author's success in reaching children became apparent when my 5 year old insisted on bringing the book to school for his teacher to read to the class.
