I bought this deck for my self as a graduation present. I love them very much but had a hard time learning to use them at first. I went and got the book but found that didn't help much either. I am getting better readings with more practice. So don't give up after a little confusion. I am glad I didn't.

I first encountered this R.L. Wing's version of the I Ching many years ago,and it remains to this day the best and most understandable I have ever seen. This book has a personality - I don't know of any other way to describe it. It has an astonishing ability to answer even the most direct and pointed questions with a relevant response and sound advice. If you have ever had the slightest curiosity about the I Ching or the Tao, you must have this book. I've replaced my copy of this book 3 times now, having worn out the previous ones. Be prepared - you don't read this book, you converse with it.

I bought this book just to say that I had read a copy of the I Ching. Then I became fascinated with the book as I read through the introductory material in the beginning, and tried throwing the coins a few times. As I gained experience and my intuitive mind began to unfold before me I learned that the I Ching is much more than a mere divination tool.

This is a wonderful book for those not interested in deciphering the English translation, which can be most difficult. It is straight forward, with all the information needed for imediate use. It stirs your imagination to desire the highest ideals, and gives information on exacting those ideals or actions. Years ago I studied an english version of the I Ching, but never understood it as clearly as I do now, and therefore only applied it to problems. After reading the brief but concise info on how and why this book is used, I am applying it to all aspectds of life, living, my enviornment, and more; with ease and awe!

Lost Stories For All Ages is an astonishing modern trilogy updated from ancient manuscripts. My favorite is Dawn of Time. I've always thought that when God drove Adam and Eve from the Garden that was the end of His dealings with them. But in Dawn of Time, we see God continuing with them on a daily basis. He gives them advice, and promises He will bring them back to Paradise after a determined length of time. I would highly recommend that parents read this book to their children. Also I think this would become an excellent animated movie on the order of Prince of Egypt.

Three stories are retold in W. Kent Smith's Lost Stories for All Ages, each one in my opinion, better than the last:

Dawn of Time - This simple story of Adam and Eve's innumerable challenges after being banished from the Garden of Eden is one of profound hope and compassion. If you've ever wondered if Eve was the mother and grandmother of any offspring, this story answers that question and many others.

Smith's second story, Fire and Blade, chronicles Abram's fascinating life. I saw God's promises to Abram come to fruition and, just like a good novel, it ended and left me wanting more.

Trial by Fury - After Pontius Pilate sentences Jesus to death, Cesar won't rest until he finds out whom the man called Jesus really was. This last spellbinding story will captivate you as it unfolds the stunning testimony surrounding Jesus' death and resurrection. This story, like the others, is extremely well written and researched, but has something inexplicably more.

So far, I've read the book twice and enjoyed it both times. Hope the author has another book in the works.

"Lost Stories for All Ages," by W. Kent Smith, is an incredible book. Finally, someone has taken the dry, ancient texts of history and made them comprehensible and interesting to read. Thanks to Mr. Smith, the personalities of each story are once again rendered in flesh and blood and their dwellings of brick and mortar have substance.

What I like most about the book is that he tells the complete story by drawing upon a multitude of secular and theological records. A prime example is "Trial by Fury: The Condemnation of Pontius Pilate" (my favorite of the three stories). Here Smith weaves together the letters of Pontius Pilate, Herod Antipas, Tiberius Caesar, and the "Gospel of Nicodemus" (a.k.a.: "The Acts of Pontius Pilate") into a seamless, flowing narrative, which reveals a truth that is neither taught in history books, nor preached from the pulpit.

Indeed, Smith proves he is not only a fine writer, but also an excellent academician. One needs only go to the library to view the source material to prove that. The result: an epic that is entertaining, informative, and, most importantly, accurate.

The reason I am writing you is I love the book, "Pale Phoenix". I thought it was a really interesting book.When my mom and dad bought it for me, I thought the book would be really boring. But when I started reading it,I couldn't put it down.My favorite part is when Miranda, Abby and Dan all go back in time and nobody can see them. The ending was really cool, you know how Abby becomes a real person and not a ghost. I thought it was a good book and everyone who likes to read should read it. I thought the characters were interesting well-drawn and believable. The book was thoughtful and enjoyable. I think you did a perfect job. Thank you for your time and I hope you write back.

This is another fine example of Kathryn Reiss's writing. I think it was a great book. I read atleast 4 times because I loved it so much. I really hope Kathryn Reiss becomes well-known. She has a great imagination and sense of literature. This classic tale about a pheonix rising from the ashes is a great story for young and older people to enjoy. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

This was a GREAT book! I loved it! Reiss did a wonderful job unfolding her story about Abby, a young puritan girl unable to move on to the next world, trapped by her own reluctance. Her only hope is almost 300 years later when Miranda discovers her secret and tries to help, but not until the two learn to get along after Miranda's parents decide to take Abby in. A very inticing story and definitely worth reading! I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!

READ FOR YOURSELF TO FIND OUT THE OUTCOME OF THIS TERRIFYING TRUE ACCOUNT OF A HAUNTING

Evil is everywhere. This story is about a family that moves into a duplex in PA, which is haunted by ghosts, and even a demon. These presences immediatly latch onto the family and terrorize them to no end. There are rappings on the wall at all hours, some of the family members are levitated and thrown around, they are followed even when they go camping, there are noises, smells, and cold spots. Noone would help them, not even their own church. Then a team of demonologist come to help but do they??? This is not a book to read alone...

This is an excellent book,very well written. Anyone who has seriously studied demomology, or the paranormal, will know this book is true to the facts, from the bangings in the walls, to the terrible odors, to the physical and mental abuse that inhuman spirits put upon their human victems, to horrible manifestations. This family suffered greatly under the hand of a true inhuman spirit, but yet survived it toegether as a family because their faith in God did not falter. If you have followed Ed and Lorraine Warrens teachings, this book is a must read...

I found this book easy to read, very clear and understandable. It is not a book for a novice. You have to know some basic astrology before you study horary. But when you are ready to learn horary, this this the place to start. The author reviews the history of horary and gives clear examples of all the concepts. There are lots of real life examples that make fascinating reading. This is astrology at its best.

This book made me lauph (hystarically) cry and even rethink some things in my own path. Infact Ive given it to my teenage daughter to read. Its a must have in a home library!

I have read all of the books written by Kryon and Lee Carroll and have found that this one book summarizes everything I have ever read on the topics of spiritual growth and enlightenment. It is a book I give freely to people who cross my path because I think it offers the purest message on God and the meaning of life on this planet. Kryon goes, step-by-step, through the process we all need to take to find our true sense of Joy on this planet. It is though-provoking, funny, and incredibly uplifting. It shows that everything we do, that everything we experience has value in the eyes of God and the Universe. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is seeking to find their own sense of the Truth.
