Thinking Tools For Kinds presents a compendium of stories depicting real-life problems, and mental tools that can be used logically solve the problems, as well as illustrations by Linda P. Kretzler, glossary aids, a "home connection" for applying what has been learned to problems at home, and a great deal more. Removable exercises that teachers have blanket permission to copy and distribute to students enhance this quality instructional reference and resource book.

This book is an absolute delight; the stories (I particularly enjoyed the fun story about Michael and his ancestry and the story about Charlie and Emma) are well told and perfectly introduce each thinking tool. My fourth-graders will undoubtedly enjoy this text. Thank you, Barbara Cleary, Sandy Duncan, and Linda Kretzler, for a wonderful resource!

Three Score and Thirteen is a nice contreibution, well organized and useful, and very clearly written by someone strongly motivated to defend the Constitution and the principles of the American Foundingh. I love Undercover Lover. I love how Sally writes. This one is simply the best. Allison and Bill are so real. Their story is filled with humor, thoughtfulness, misconceptions, murder, mystery, etc. It has it all. The secondary characters are well written, too. Allison's ex is Doug. My ex is Doug. I could relate! I enjoyed Allison's daughter, her coworkers, Bill's family and co-workers. Even those who worked for or were clients of the homeless shelter rang true. Thank you, Sally for another wonderful story.

Sally Steward and her pen have many voices, all of them fabulous! Undercover Lovers is a delectable treat for her readers. Allison and Bill are well writen, multidimentional characters who set the pages ablaze as their story unfolds! Sally Steward's secondary characters are as splendidly crafted as her hero and heroine. Unforgettable! She keeps you guessing and turning the pages.

I challenge you to put this book down once you've started it! Excellent! I can't wait for her next release.

My two-year-old loves this book, especially when I try to mimick the way Loonette says "Who made this big mess???" on the PBS TV show. After we started reading the book frequently, I actually got my daughter to clean her room after I ask her that question in that tone of voice. You can't beat that!
