I've had my wheaton puppy for a week and read this book a week before bringing him home. I must say this week has gone a lot easier for me by reading this book.

I have other puppy training books but this one has been the most helpful as it focuses more on the needs and traits of this breed. Also, the book is small and the writing gets to the point which makes it a handy "field manual". I have referred to it numerous times in the past week and it will probably see more use in the coming years than most any book on my bookshelf.

This book is much better than most breed specific guides in that the entire book appears to have been written specifically about Wheatens, not just a few chapters fitted into an all-purpose book. And the author knows her subject very well. The book includes a lot of practical information on training, feeding, grooming, even breeding and showing a Wheaten Terrier. It also has many beautiful color pictures. I highly recommend it for those interested in this wonderful breed.

This book is just perfect. Though our Wheaten Terrier is not our first dog and not our first Terrier, we still learnt a lot of new stuff helping us to raise this dream dog.

I first read to my boys the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff which is just the way I remember it from when I was a child. I then flipped the book over and read to them the troll's point of view. What a cute and funny story. We all love this book. We will definitely buy other books like this one written with other classic stories telling both points of view.

I first received a copy of this book at the International Reading Association's 1996 conference when I was acting as a staff development assistant and enrichment teacher at an elementary school. It is hilarious. First, you read the traditional The Three Billy Goats Gruff to the kids and then you read the Just a Friendly Old Troll story which is told from the point of view of the troll. It is really funny. The troll says he was just misunderstood-he didn't mean he was going to eat the baby goat when he said," I'd like to have you for dinner?" but that he was inviting him to dinner trying to make friends and that when baby goat and medium goat each said wait for my bigger brother knowing that eventually big billy goat gruff would come to defend them that he thought they meant they didn't want to come to dinner without their brother.

I am a school librarian and I thought these "other point of view" stories were wonderful (not just the 3 Billy Goats). It gives you a chance to alert kids to the fact that sometimes you need to hear another point of view before you make judgments. It's too bad the Horn book reviewer didn't like it.

In the list of my three favorite books (together with Jean Liedloff: "The Continuum Concept" and John Welwood: "Journey of the Heart"), this one comes first. It is the lost fifth gospel. The wild girl is Mary Magdalene, and she describes her tantric love relationship with Jesus. It is all about the union of the inner man and the inner woman in the inner marriage chamber of the heart. Resurrection and eternal life are not following cruzifixion and physical death, but they are following love and spiritual union, that may also be reflected in physical union. This is the female point of view of Mary Magdalene, in opposite to the male point of view of Simon Petrus. Really great stuff! The story is very touching. It gives no easy solutions. But it shows a clear direction.

For those who were raised studying the four Gospels, this book offers a plausible and delicious alternative. The story of the life of Jesus told by the woman who first saw the miracle of the resurrection. Beautifully written (as one has come to expect from Roberts) and neatly wound together. I have lent this book out to many friends, and no one has ever returned it to me disappointed.

The lady in the story is or suppose to be a person in history. This story promises to be provocative in the sense of the bigger ideas it challenges and tests - against the average man in town, or conventional reader. The story is set in a time between 0 and 1st century AD.

In this book, you will learn by example, as I have. You don't know me, but... what do my landlord, everyone on my floor at the apartment where I live, the postman, my boss's boss, the checkout person at my local supermarket, the local car wash attendant, the telephone repair person, four waiters at my favorite in-town restaurant, and the greeter at my local gym have in common? Give up? Answer: They all know my name. Prior to reading this book they didn't know my name or simply got me confused with another person. This book doesn't specifically give you the techniques for having people remember your name (nor does it have anything to do with social networking for that matter), but the patterns are there for you to synthesize and develop your own techniques. I'm very impressed with what I have learned and thus accomplished after studying this book. I work in sales and it's very important that people know my name...

This is truly a remarkable piece of literature, exposing the societal achilles heel of life...bad attitudes! I have finally aquired the insight to know what public speakers have known for years, everything is coming up roses for those who lead a positive, warm attitude towards life!

Take me for instance. I used to steal so many packs of chewing gum (friends called me "double mint Sanchez"). Well, after getting caught so many times, I, well, err, WELL I JUST FELT DOWNRIGHT NEGATIVE!

Thanks to this book, and a lot of Hubba Bubba, I will now look to the positive future of attitudes in general. Thank you Michele M. Yana, et al, thank you!

This audio book gave me a new view of my self-imposed limitations on my approach to weight control and healthy eating. Michele's spiritual and spirited techniques have inspired me to move away from negative behaviors and toward a healthier me. I highly recommend this audio book.

I was sceptical at first, but I found this cleanse to be highly effective. I and 12 of my girl friends {also my husband) had similar results. I lost 14 pounds of compacted mucous and toxic debris in 10 days of cleansing. Its very good and very oh so helpful its the first book that I have read that really addresses the PROBLEM instead of making it worse. Its worth it, to avoid an outbreak every so often

I have been using Lippincott's review series since I started nursing school last year. These books are a must have! They are to the point, tells exactly what you need to know and they have review questions. These books are small and weigh almost nothing so they are easy to keep with you. I will be starting Critical Care which will be my last semester! I am so glad that Lippencott came out with Critical Care Review just in time. I haven't started the new semester yet but in my spare time I have been reading through the chapters. I highly reccommend these series! I even got my other classmates hooked too!

I purchased this book about 4 months ago in order to have a quick reference available to me at work. I am a new graduate ICU RN in a VERY busy trauma center, and this book has everything I need to help refresh my memory quickly when I need it. All of the information in this book is organized system by system, so it's easy to find what you need. The information itself is "just the facts." Everything important regarding every subject pertinent to the ICU, including treatment modalities and nursing diagnoses for any medical condition you can think of! Critical things to remember are in bold lettering, so they really stand out on a page. There are illustrations to help "drive home" more complex concepts and procedures, along with countless graphs and tables of information. Also, this book provides review questions at the end of each section for us motivated readers who like to test ourselves. I'm SO glad I found this book. I take it with me every shift, and have even caught veteren RN's thumbing through it, which tells me that it's a great resource for anyone...whether you're still a student, a new graduate, or have been an RN for 20 years. It's also small enough to carry with you anywhere...and at the risk of sounding weird, I do pretty much take it everywhere I go. I LOVE this book!

The story is told from the characters narrative and is very powerful as a love story, and a story of survival in a time of chaos and world turmoil. The reader gets to see the events unfold as if we are a part of them first hand which adds to the excitement and is very climactic. There is extraordinary exposure to human falacies as vulnerabilities are prayed upon, leading into a compelling story that is sure to keep you up all night.(Our Book club, The Write Stuff, thought this was one of the best books we ever read. Another book we enjoyed was Resistance by Anita Shreve.
