Wonderful!
I got the first three books from my friend for Christmas, and they are great! After reading the first three, I went out and bought four more - up till volume 7 (the other volumes have not yet been released). They are really funny with a bit of romance...
Awesome!
I am completely in love with this book. I just piced it up to check it out and was completely blown away by it. It is about a boy named Keitaro who moves into an all girls dorm. That's all I have to say, It is funny and romantic. You should read it.

A fun book! Great for vegetarian kids.
Making Minestrone is a fun book for children which features a rhyming text about making minestrone soup. Not only will kids enjoy reading the simple text and looking at the colorful illustrations, but they will also look forward to making this vegan soup. The beginning of the story lets the reader know what ingredients are required - green beans, carrots, onions, peas, potatoes, zucchini, pasta, cooking oil, salt and pepper, and water. The story features several children gathering vegetables they need for their soup from a vegetable garden. The end of the book contains the actual recipe for the soup. Making Minestrone is an entertaining book for young children, but it will be appreciated by anyone who enjoys a tasty, ethical meal. --Reviewed by N. Glenn Perrett
Soup Magic
A jaunty rhyme runs through a garden and kitchen with a group of multi-ethnic children who collect the ingredients to make a soup and encountering a range of animals along the way. delightful!

Beautiful and Inspiring
The Man Who Made Parks is a beautifully illustrated and inspiring book for children. It tells the story of a brilliant and complicated man in words that children can understand. Olmsted's love of nature, his childhood illness, his mixed feelings about school, and the convoluted path that led him to his special place in American history are all described in the book, as well as his triumph in Central Park and much of what came after that. Fascinating and captivating
A Woman's Journey West is a must read! Nan Weber's unique approach of re-creating the life of a pioneer woman and her family is entertaining, educational and interesting. This is a well written book! I am looking forward to more works from this talented author!
The mystery of Mattie solved.
Great research and writing brings Mattie Culver to life. Nan Weber shows that even though Mattie Culver died in 1889, she still reach out and touch us today.

What a sweet story!
Not only is this a great children's story with beautiful illustrations, but it teaches children about people from other countries -- with a warm and sympathetic approach.
Heartwarming story of a girl and her friend Anka
A wonderful children's book, beautifully illustrated. The story of a young girl and the woman who cleaned house, cooked, and cared for her. In addition to the relationship of the two, the book offers children insight on the culture and customs of an immigrant woman from Czechoslovakia

wonderfully raw and REAL photography
nan goldin is a credit to photography. her works are so personal and show simple and humble pictures of friends and herself. nothing is dolled up or made to look fashionable...it's how things are...caught at the perfect moments. i am in love with this collection and go back to it many times to look at my favorites.
long live the queen!
nan goldin is, no room for a doubt, the greatest photographer of our decade. no one like her can capture the way modern life can be odd and beautiful at the same time. this book contains some of her brilliant artwork, the quality of the photos is really great, and besides, its less expensive than most of her books, and as good as most of them. its great to find another excellent book of her. you wont be dissapointed, believe me! you have to see it for yourself!

poignant & beautiful
In the intro to The Other Side, Nan refers to the Oscar Wilde saying that "who are who you pretend to be." Through the photography of those closest to her, those excruiciatingly beautiful people whose gender just happens to be ambiguous, Nan shows how our pretending seeps into every corner of our personas. I love this book!!
Nan Goldin Takes over the World!
This book spans many different images from Nan Goldin's career from transvestites to hookers, who are generally her friends. She captures very candidly, the very soul and essence of these "creatures" daily existences (which is probably be very different from your world). The colors and images are nothing short of amazing, but then again, this a book of Nan Goldin's photography. This book is worth every dollar - the only thing better would be to visit a gallery or have one of her photos in your home.

This is an amazing book
This is the first "romance book" that I have read in a very long time.
I'm usually the one that reads Dean Koontz, Stephen King, and Laurence Sanders. (Intrique and Demonic Possision has always kept my interest) but wow. When I read "Outlaws Kiss" I am now hooked.
What amazing characters. Mollie was strong yet soft and reachable. This book took me to another place and realized that love can happen at the strangest of times with the least likely person.
an excellent read.
Don't ever under estimate the power of a woman.
This book was very suspenseful, you never knew where it was going to take you. It goes to show you how someone in love will stop at nothing. Again Nan Ryan outdid herself. A great book.

Excellent story!
I truly enjoyed this story. My first Nan Ryan book but not my last. Widowed Princess Marlena goes to America to raise money for her country. She takes ill and is replaced by a woman who could be her twin that works in a saloon as an actress/singer. The actress is wanted for theft and that's where Virgil Black comes in. He's assigned to bring her to jail. He spots the redhead and takes her with him even though she tells him time and again that she is a Princess. Sparks fly as they travel by horse to the final destination. This book has to have one of the best endings I have ever read.
WONDERFULLY HEARTWARMING, A TRUE KEEPER
A wonderful story of mistaken identity and true love. The carachters in this book are so real you feel as if you are part of the story. A truly exceptional romance. I couldn't put it down. Read it in one day, taking it with me to catch a few pages whenever I could. A charming love story. Princess Marlena or "Red" as Virgil Black, Captian of the Texas Rangers calls her is out of her pampered lifestyle and loving and hating every minute of it. The sparks fly and sizzle with passion. A must read for devoted happy ending readers.
