Boxers
My husband and I read this book in the hopes of hearing the personality traits and training issues with Boxers. We learned more than we could have hoped. This book was honest, never saying the Boxer is right for everyone, but saying if you can't live with this trait please consider another breed. We will probably adopt a Boxer and this book helped make the decision.

Exquisite museumlike paintings of a rare children's subject
Beverly Brodsky's new children's book, Buffalo, is a beautiful work of art. Unique and expressive paintings and prints colorfully illustrate the Native American buffalo with strong poetry weave together a 'big hit' for children and as a collectible for adults alike. I've never seen anything like it. My copies of Buffalo signed by the author/illustrator will be cherished for years to come.

Easy enough for Kindergarteners
I have used several of Beverly Armstrong's books in my Kindergarten class. The drawings are cute and easy to follow. I start out with directed drawings of how to follow the "left to right sequence." Later, the students draw in the writing center and then label the picture and write about their drawing (the writing ability will vary). They have really enjoyed this!

Great Book! Well researched.
I was drawn to this book because my last name is Cameron, but this turned out to be a very interesting book. The book was fascinating, well put together and well researched. If you are at all interested in old cars and the history of what makes them special you need to read this book.

Priceless Literature from a Profound Professor
It is humbling for the reader and reviewer of a document to have been a benefactor of the living author's intellect and pedagogy. It is significant and profound to recognize that a book can serve the purpose of its subject; the audience for which it seeks to address and the common good of our local, state and national discourse on the essential fuel of education-MONEY!
The reader of Cash Management should be practically, philosophically and intellectually motivated by the contents and context of this work. Moreover, the student of educational finance will find clarity and purpose for the herculean goal of providing quality educational access for all children in America.

Cat and Mouse (Crosswinds, No 25)

A great book
This is a great book about a girl nicknamed Mouse who tells of her adventures with this guy named Buddy. Buddy is in love with Mouse and does everything he can to get her attention. Because he goes too far one night (serenading her under her bedroom window) he gets sent away. Fast forward a few months and Buddy is back in town. Mouse is scared Buddy will pull one of his wild stunts, but he ends up ignoring her on their first meeting in the hall of the high school. Mouse is speechless, and curious as to why Buddy is ignoring her- the supposed 'love of his life'. I won't say what happens in the rest of the story, but it is a great love story that is excellent for preteens on up.

Cherry Street

Wonderful Historical Mystery
This is the second book that I have read written by BJ Conner and I loved both of them. I have always loved to read books written about the past, whether fictional or true. This book also has a light humor, a bit of romance and a wonderful plot of mystery, not just murder mystery but also life related. I really like the fact that it is written based on my home town and that I guess brings my interest in the book a little higher.
I would like to see a sequel to not only this book but also her first book. I would really like to see the continuation of Rebecca and James' life together and the growth of their kids. I can't wait to read the next book!

Designed to assist parents, teachers, and caregivers
Children And Stress: Understanding And Helping is designed to assist parents, teachers, and caregivers with an understanding of how stressful life events affect children and the means to assist children in coping with stressful events ranging from parental divorce, illness, injury, death, schoolyard bullying, and more. The first half of this informative volume explores children's experiences with (and perceptions of) stress, focusing especially on areas of family, culture, school, and children with special needs. The second half addresses the question of how those who work with children can best alleviate children's stress. Children And Stress is an invaluable contribution to the field and highly recommended reading for parents, educators, counselors, and anyone charged with a responsibility to assist children in dealing with the natural shocks that will inevitable occur in their young lives.

Still a Hit
I've had this book for over 15 years, and still find it great. I use it for the occasional good home cooked meal, since a lot of the dishes can be a bit time consuming and fattening, but definitely worth the effort. One of my favorite recipes is the calzone with tomatoes and mozzarella. The book is divided into the following chapters- 1) The Italian Kitchen, 2) Antipasti, 3) Soups, 4) Sauces, 5) Pasta (make your own), 6) Cheese and Eggs, 7) Rice, Beans & Grains, 8) Pizza & Torte, 9) Vegetables, 10) Salads, 11) Breads, 12) Desserts, and 13) Ices,

Enjoy!
