A very good book for any Christian. Very, very true and moving. Everybody should get it.

I really enjoyed this book. I actually have given 2 as gifts and the recievers were thrilled with it. In today's world it is easy to focus on one aspect of life, especially work. This book has a down to Earth, realistic approach to remind you that there is more to life than work and that to be healthy you need to focus on all aspects of your life. This book is beautifully illustrated. If you want a conversation starter it makes a great coffee table book!

I read this book to my child and it's excellent! Actually i know it's only for children but i enjoyed reading it too! It was absolutely lovely! i really recommend this book to others. It was recommended to me by my good friend, Liz. She is also lovely. But this book shows children the aspects of homes and sharing and should not be selfish. This is important for everyone to learn, and the sooner the better. So read this book!

This has to be the best text on arbitrability that I've ever seen, without a doubt. As an admirer of Judge Hodgson's writing in the past, I looked forward to this volume for a long while.

Even though this is sold as a children's book, it is beautifully produced with the full approval of the Ansel Adams Trust, and it provides an excellent introduction to this fascinating man who once thought he would become a classical pianist. Ms. Gherman discusses not only the events, people, and surroundings that influenced Ansel Adams's work but also his incredible impact on the art of photography and the places he photographed. This book is perfect for budding photographers and long-time admirers of Ansel Adams, especially those who might be a bit daunted by his very dense autobiography or his complex technical manuals. An insightful and interesting read about his life and art, full of wonderful photographs of and by Ansel.

I have read (and own) several art marketing books and this is by far the best one yet. It is very complete in every aspect of art marketing. The table of contents alone it 7 pages long!!

Goodman starts out discussing the psychology of art collectors and how to get to understand them. This alone is worth the price of the book! Imagine knowing how to think like a buyer!! From there is covers how to promote the art, creating a marketing plan, how to design a gallery, pricing, ethics, contracts hiring and training gallery employees etc.

The only problem- if you want to call it that- is that it reads like a text book an takes a little time going through, but the reading is easy, unlike most text books.

This is a must have for gallery owners, artists, art reps and anyone interested in making a living in the arts.

This book presents a map of the state for each species and shows its distribution. Great for just browsing to see what's out there!
