This beautifully adorned Beverly Clark Minis book contains delightful inspirational messages of love and marriage. It's a beautiful keepsake gift for any bride and groom, or for any romantic occassion. I bought if for myself and my fiancé since we are getting married in June, and just reading the exceptional quotations brought tears of joy and excitement in anticipation of our upcoming wedding. This lovely romantic book shall be treasured always as a special wedding gift to my fiance and I, from ourselves.

Finally an academic tome on one of America's most beloved children's authors. Pflieger discusses and analyzes all of Cleary works as well as giving some biographical material about her. Academic journals, popular press magazines and newspapers about Cleary's novels are all cited in order to provide other people's reviews and analysis of Cleary's works. This book is a must for anyone who has read any of Cleary's novel and would be particularly useful for college students who are thinking of becoming English teachers, librarians or Ph.D. students in children's literature. Unlike many academic writers, Pflieger's writing style is clear and easy to understand which is a nice contrast to all the boring, pedantic academic writings which are often employed when analyzing children's literature. I would like to see included in the next edition, an analysis of Cleary's newest work Ramona's World, as it was not inserted in this edition.

These are four of my favorite Beverly Cleary books, even though they are not very well known. They are sweet and funny just like all her books. My sisters and love these books and have all of them.

These are all wonderful books to read as and for a child. Everyone has a bet of Ramona in them and we all have conflicts between our other family members like the young girl. Beezus can be related to anyone who has had to live with a teenager and when we read the whacky stories about Ramona's parents we all say inside, "Hey, That's like my mom!". The mouse and the motorcycle are very delightful, too. We never thought a bond could strike up between a small mouse and a child but this story proves us wrong! I strongly reccomend these books.

This book is very rich in contents which compose of the process to the beginning of the program, explanation of producersf intentions, interviews to actors and actresses playing main casts such as Jason Priestly and Shannen Doherty, the plot of the ninth series, and many photographs. Especially, it is interesting that producers, actors, and actresses talk about the drama in terms of why this drama has become popular. Actors and actresses talk about how they can get their roles and how they see their roles and themselves. I could empathize with real actors and actresses more than characters in the drama. The drama is directed with reality, which is similar to this book. Anyway, this is an indispensable book for everyone who loves the drama.

I lost 20 pounds in approximately 3 weeks using the plunge program . I've maintained the weight loss for 5 years. Basicly, it teachs about nutrition, and how fats, sugars, and salts cause us to gain weight. By first totally cutting these items out of your diet, you begin to lose about 10 pounds in the first week. Then you gradually reintroduce them into your diet in small quantities. I don't know why this book went out of print. It's great!

I, as well as many others, see NO Fun in getting organized. Although I have been "at times" and felt the joy of being able to find items within a moment's notice, I've always fallen backa to my old pack rat ways. Company comes over; friends drop by and my place is in a constant state of FLUX & Chaos. Then I had seen Ms. Koopersmith as a SpokesPerson on QVC, the Shopping Channel (in May of 97, I believe) & was immediately hooked by her charisma, poise & confidence as she showed one & all - millions of shoppers, about how a person, as myself, can get organized. She was repping a product line at that time, but I found out about her Book & accompanying Video a few weeks later; ordered both & now, every day make it a Passion to stay organized. The Book is my new Outline to Life as I analyze what she is attempting to do. And, yes, it has given me proven, positive results already. People have stopped in; friends have unexpected dropped by & they do not have to crawl over mountains of paper or boxes that seem to have "no home." If there is one book, I now highly recommend to everyone - whether it's for a young person in their formative years (needing to know how to be an Organized Individual) OR a college student going away from home for the first time & thrown into the throngs of a tight, dormitory cubicle, it's to read & DO as Linda says. Don't do as I do - DO as the Professional, The Beverly Hills Organizer says. Linda has a 30 Second Rule that is Golden in my Book (pun intended). It reads as: IF you take it out; put it back. Life couldn't get any simple than that. My environment couldn't look any better once I abide by that Philosophy. Many of the Pages have listings and places where I can check items off. This is very convenient. It's evidently PC-generated and makes for very easy reading & understanding. Ms. Koopersmith tackles IT all. I know I will be buying many of these Books as the Holidays roll in. I want to be organized and this is the only way via the Methods presented by The Beverly Hills Organizer, Ms. Linda Koopersmith, in which I can make a clear-cut & clean sweep as we all collectively enter Century 21! She knows how to do it & I commend her for taking the time to help others who have no idea on how to tackle this on-going Situation - Situation: Clutter! Three Cheers & 3 Stars for The Book that totally changed my life. In due time, since my home, studio & business are in better working order, I will then have the time to read MORE Amazon.com Books - indeed opening up more doors of opportunity for me. Those which had been closed since I was too busy trying to sort thru piles of papers, files & who knows what! In final summary, "I did not know Organizing could be SO much fun & it's actually good for you!" Koopersmith puts The ZING into OrganiZING. Who could ask for more!

I admit that I am bias. Beverly is a beautiful black woman and serious business woman. It is her older work but very much worth locating. It has excellent health tips as well as guide to utilizing herbs to gain a healthy life style. It is not an autobiography yet she shares many of her memories as a model and adds personal touches of her life. It is well worth the time. It is one of my health bibles.

Something happened to me recently that caused me to question everything I once believed. I was filled with shame and remorse and felt I could never look anyone I knew in the eyes again. After reading this book and following the recommendations of the author I came to realize that something good can come out of bad and that even our biggest mistakes can teach us important lessons if we are willing to pay attention. I recommend this book for anyone who has experienced a failure, a loss, or the shame of an arrest, a bankruptcy, or any other humiliating experience. The book will give you real hope and reading the stories of others who've had similar experiences will make you feel less alone.The book also helps you to forgive yourself and ask for forgiveness from others.

This book allows children (although any age could utilize this book) an entertaining and unique way to express their feelings about someone special to them. An excellent gift for anytime of the year. This book shall bring joy for generations.
