A Good Book
I really liked this book. It was about a girl that lived on the island Rass. Her sister,Caroline, was so perfect. They treated Caroline better than they treated her. This book was so awesome! I definitly reccomend it for young audiences or for old audiences. This is an all around good book. You might think its boring at first but you have to hang in there, because the end is GREAT!

Jacob Have I Loved
"Jacob Have I Loved" was most definitely the best book I have ever read. It is an amazing novel. Katherine Paterson is a wonderfully honest author with a dazzling sense of creativity. I recommend this book to almost any good reader, ages 10 and above. It is a book that should not be missed.

Arian
Jacob Have I Loved, by Katherine Patterson, is a book that I highly reccomend to all readers around in the world. It is a great book that has several themes such as: love, jealousy, and goals. These were the themes that were shown most in the book. It explains the pros and cons of having a twin sister. It also shows the love between Mr. and Mrs. Bradshaw towards each other. What I mostly love about this book is, how Lousie realizes that she is not in her sister's shadow and she dosent feel hate towards her. Lousie matured and finally accomplished her goal, which was to leave Rass and have a great life. The thing that keeps you wanting to read this book without putting it down, is how Katherine Patterson makes you wait for eveything. She lead you to Louise accomplishing her goal in life, but she made you wait. Thus, making this book one of the best books I have ever read. I thank Mr. Rome, my reading teacher, for picking such a great book out, for us to read. In closing, i would just like to say that this book helped me in many ways realize how my life could be, how it could turn out, and what i can do to make my life better. I am postively sure that this book will help me in my future, and I know I will never forget the book JACOB HAVE I LOVED!

Falling for Claire

Still flowing
After 27 books this storyline is still flowing. I really like Paolo and Claire. I have begun to gain respect for Claire as the story continued. On the flip side of that, Zoey has become more nerve racking with each book.

A foot note to Christopher. I understand that he was being polite by inviting Felicia to hang out with him and Eesh. However, you might want to take heed to the unspoken tention that exist between the two of them(espceially from Aisha). I thought that perhaps Christopher would have learned after the other numerous screw-ups with Eesh, that is obviously not the case.

I am glad that Mr. P had the little talk with Zoey about love and forgiveness. Claire really did not have to go their with Nina about Benjamin in front of everybody. Even though Benjamin has greatly disappointed me, I still like him and Nina together.

Good Book
I read this book in less than 2 hours. And it was good. I have only read a few of Katherine's books but this is one of the best. It is about Paolo and Claire. Paolo insists that he is in love with Claire even when Claire really doesn't want a relationship. They spend sometime together and even if Claire doesn't want to admit it she starts to return his feelings. But she just got over being stalked by a stalker and for some reason she thinks he might be one also. Is Paolo a stalker? Does Claire tell him what she fells? Read it to find out. Good Book!

I couldn't put it down!
I bought this book and it took me four hours to read it! I couldn't put it down. In the beginning of the book, I got so impatient with the character, Zoey. I felt like jumping in the pages and shaking her a bit. Lucas is toooooo sweet to be treated like that, although he did kiss Nina, but sooooo what! I like Paolo. Clair needs to get off her high horse and realize that not all guys are scum. I'm hooked on Applegates series the "Animorph", "Everworld", and the "Making Out",but I think the "Making Out" series holds the torch. Even if the "Making Out" series dies, we still can reread the books. (I've read every Animorph book twice and it didn't hurt. So I'm wierd...so what!) Who knows, Maybe we can follow them through college. Other writers are successful in doing so. I would like to see if Lucas and Zoey wed...It is a natural thing to marry. I would like to see if Ben and Nina hook up. Also Jake and Clair? Possibility. But Lara is dead. Let her go. She's not Elvis! But in any event... Keep up the good work K.A. Applegate.

TREMENDOUS
What a tremendous book "Jonathan's Journey" was! Even at the age of 38 years old, I found that it helped ME understand the scarlet thread of love that is woven throughout the Scriptures. I read it to my 7 and 8 year old boys and they laughed and cried right along with me! They loved it and so did I. Take the time to read "Jonathan's Journey"...you'll not want to put it down!

Wonderful
Jonathan's Journey will answer questions about the saving grace of Jesus for the young and old alike. It's illustrations and descriptive content become real and alive to the reader. The words on the cover "Read and Grow Rich" are right on target. Thank you Katherine Bell for a beautiful book that can and will be shared by many Christian readers.

Katherine Bell 3:15
Jonathan's journey is so well written I find it difficult to describe. I have written to the Pope and asked that Katherine Bell be asked to write the next book in the bible - the woman is clearly touched ... by God. In fact I think she has been touched many times and on a regular basis.

A Wonderfully made book
I had bought the book "Maharaja's Jewels" by Katherine Prior and John Adamson and I must say that it was truly a wonderful book. For those who have interest in Jewels, Indian history, Royalty, Photography and I think for any one it will be a great experience to read it.

The Authors have brought out the richness of the land in an excellent presentation. The quality of the book in terms of the content, pictures, presentation, the collection of the jewels shown and the history behind them is very well presented.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and certainly recommend to any one with interest in such a book. it should be in any interested person's collection.

This book IS a jewel!
Amazing. I spent outside my budget to get this book and it's worth every cent.

A lavish examination of maharaja jewelry
Maharajahs' Jewels provides an oversized, lavish examination of maharaja jewelry, considering the history behind royal jewelry making in India and the conditions under which some of the most famous jewelry pieces were manufactured. The stories of the Indian princes and their jewelry will appeal to any interested in Indian history in general and jewelry-making in particular.

Sarah's Unicorn
I remember this book so well. I waited for it after Foolish Giant came out. Then I was able to hear the story of A Monsters Ring before it was published. If you think Coville is a great author for children you should. Being a school teacher helped.
Sarah's Unicorn was one of the first books I was ever able to read on my own.

The First book I finished
When I was a little girl in my grade school library, I came across this book. I had never finished a book all the way through until then. I checked it out every year more than once, and read it time and time again. It is a great story, and I hope my daughter loves it as much as I do.

Childhood Memories
"Sarah's Unicorn" was my very first book I ever learned to read and as a little girl I loved it so much I had it memorized. I came on here in hope of finding my beloved story and I am incredibly sadened to find it is no longer sold. It's a shame such a great children's story is no longer available to everyone. I only hope children my age never forget the exsistence of unicorns like they have many other myths!

Zoey Speaks Out

Good Book
I am glad that Benjamin got his sight back. I still have my reservations about him, after how he treated Nina. I like how he told Nina that she was beutiful. I think Jake and Kate are a good couple. Kate is what Jake needs at this point in his life. He needs a woman that is intelligent and balanced(unlike Lara).

I have absolutely nothing to say about Lara. She is crazy and needs to get a grip. She is good at blaming everybody for her mess of a life. She needs to try to point the finger at herself.

lots of surprises..
this was one of the best, but why is it called Zoey Speaks Out? that was so.. MINOR! That was like, the least of their problems! they should've named it something different because with all the other things going on I don't think anyone cared too much that Zoey told Jake what really happened to Kate. Big deal. But other than the title, it was good. really good.

The best one yet
I thought this book was the best book out of the series. It was very good and i really liked ..I have been reading these books for a year now..and for christmas a recieved 5 books...of this series..I finsihed all of them in about 5 days..reading at least a book a day

Chicken Soup for the Surviving Soul
Very good book! Having been diagnosed with Cervical cancer, I found it encouraging to know that there are many cancer survivors out there.

Chicken soup for the Surviving Soul
After my diagnosis with breast cancer five years ago at age 28,this book was part of my salvation. Reading stories of otherssurvival helped me to realize that cancer is beatable. I now recommend this book to other cancer patients.

Faith, hope and love but the greatest of these is love
"Malignant", to hear this word when you or someone you love is diagnosed brings feelings of despair, fear and abandonment. The "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series gives you bits of humanity and makes you feel hopeful, trusting and accepting. The stories, poems and essays are put together to give to us encouragement. I myself am a 5 year survivor of stage 2 breast cancer and find the pages filled with new beginnings.

The truth sets us free
I have read many personal accounts of incest (and other forms of sexual abuse). I am also a survivor of incest (and other sexual abuse as well), and I am a dancer. This book very accurately depicts the effects of child abuse on art, memory, and expression. Linda Cutting achieves this through an honest memoir of her own experience of memory recovery in adulthood, and it's effect on her life and art. Often her words spoke my own experience, particularly in her descriptions of having a flashback. Severe child abuse alters the structure of our minds, but through truth we can transcend. This book is superbly written. With very little description of the actual incest I was transported into her world. I could see her as a child, and the life she lived in. My heart reached out to her. If I ever want someone to understand what life is like for an adult survivor of incest this will be top on my list of recommendations. After reading this book I felt as if I had sat down with Linda, and she had told me her story. I thank her for having the courage to share her story with us. Her book is a great help to other survivors and for anyone who seeks to understand the life of an artist who is also a survivor of child abuse. This book helped me to get in touch with my own strength and empowerment to stand tall despite my past, and to continue my artistic work.

Stellar
An absolutely stunningly clear account of losing memory- and many of the complexities within this experience- and of reclaiming resilience, balance, and self. As Cutting loses her memory of the music she is performing (music she has memorized and played over and over) in the process of working through her child abuse history, her story is a highly interesting account of the complexities of "memory slips" in an adult. Cutting navigates her history of child abuse with incredible strength and determination, and ultimately with great compassion for her family. Beautifully read by Cutting- some of her piano playing is on this audio cassette which is one reason I would recommend the audio version. Her musical expression is an important part of her story. The audio may be helpful for both women and men who have experienced sexual abuse as children/ adolescents as well as for those who want to understand the impact of this kind of an abuse history. In addition, this audio may be highly valuable in exploring the specific psychological dynamics that can arise with those who are or have been musical performers. The depth of this audio is difficult to articulate- the exploration of family psychological dynamics is worth every penny.

Incredibly poignant
In "Memory Slips", concert pianist Linda Katherine Cutting chronicles her gradual breakdown and healing as she comes to terms with the horrendous abuse, physical, emotional and sexual, that she suffered at the hands of her parents as a child. Included in this memoir is the erosion of her career due to memory loss; her hospitalization and treatment, the disintegration of her first marriage, and her slow, painful, climb back to life.

This book testifies to both the worst and best of the human spirit: agonizing, as one relives the abuse Ms. Cutting suffered, and heroic, as she fights to reclaim her life and music. The abuse she suffered becomes all the more real under the dignified, poised and restrained words she uses. A deeply wrenching and uplifting book.

I wish this people were real!
this whole making out serie iss sooo great nina and benjamin are my fav. character....what a shame that they're not really! the kiss between nina and lucas had surprised me....and I think it's sad that nina thinks so about herself because it's not true like lucas had tell her....but it seems like she thinks he would lie! I can't wait for the next book!

I LOVED IT!
This is one of the best books in the "Making Out" series yet. There was so much happening. I hope Claire finds out who her stalker is soon because he is totally freaking me out. What I don't like is the way Aisha is acting towards Christopher in this story. I mean, I know that she is upset about his secret previous marriage, but she should not be so judgemental, especially since she neglected to tell him that she had sex with another guy before. Anyway, I have a question. When does this series end? I thought it would be over as soon as all the characters graduated from high school but apparently I was wrong.

Pageturner
I have been reading these books since I was 13 yrs old..I am 19 now and am still hooked. I started reading them when they were still called boyfriends/girlfriends and was really excited to find out they were continuing with these books. This particular book was especially good because of the whole nina/lucas thing. I have always liked zoey and nina. Hopefully the books will continue being good...there have been a few boring ones where not much has happened, but, fortunately, this is not one of them. I look forward to continuing to read this series and give this book an A+

#20 is One of the Best Animorph Books
This book was so exiting. It is a real page turner. It had every body except the ellemist. There was also a new Animorph who was deadly. To see the entire story, you have to read #21 and #22 because it was a trilogy. It was one of my favorite Animorphs books.

Animorphs are COOL!
Animorphs are very, VERY cool. It's about these five kids given the ability to morph into any animal they touch by an alien named "Elfangor." They have to fight an evil alien species called "Yeerks" to save Earth.Their names are Jake,Cassie,Marco,Rachel,Tobias and Ax,Elfangor's little brother.I recomend this book to anyone who likes comedy and adventure. I also recomend that you read the Andalite Chronicles. Reading it will help you understand the Animorphs books better.
