I've purchased several book books on XML, both in the ASP and ASP.NET environments. They typically wanted you to know everything about XML for its own sake. Well I don't care to learn everything there is to know about XML; I want to know how to use it as part of the ASP.NET arsenal to write better applications. This book does just that. It moves very fast and delivers a very practical how-to guide on using XML in your ASP.NET workday. Wrox at its best!

I have read this "gutka" /sacred book many times.

The author has provided a line by line translation of the standard 5 "paaths" / sacred recitations of the sikh religion.

In doing so , he has enabled a method for the present and future generations to enjoy and understand gurbani at their own level , and lead a happy joyous life.

I feel this is the best bet for beginners or people who know english , to understand gurbani for the first time

I think this book is very educational, and it makes you think. Now that i have read this book, i feel that the universe we live in is certainly mind-boggling! a very good book

This book contains correct information on Gurdwara. It is very useful for teachers/children and for those people who know little about Sikhism, There are not many books on the subject. Highly recommended. I use it myself to teach young Sikhs.

This book was written in 1976 and focused on the sikh communities temples wich were established at the time. The author mr H.S.Janjua travelled the country, taking pictures of the temples, finding out how they were established and the people who were elected to look after them. If you have ever been to an old sikh temple, the chances are it`s featured in this book. H.S. Janjua never did finish the update on that book, mr Janjua tells me he is currently working on a new project.

As a speech pathology student, I found this dictionary to be a great academic and professional investment. I found it helpful for every aspect from writing clinical reports to studying for an exam. The illustrations were also terrific (those taking anatomy know what I mean). A Communication Disorder student's must have!

I first came acroos this book in 1973 as an undergraduate student in Civil Engineering at Mysore university, India. I continued to use this and other books of Dr Singh for my graduate studies. In my two decades of academic, research and professional life I have used this book very extensively. Reading this book is more a pleasure. I never felt like keeping the book down even after midnight. While I immigrated to USA in 1993 I brought my copy. As this book had fascinated some of my American friends I made arrangements to get copies for them from India. This is a great book and the treatment of the subject is simply superb
