On Target
This book was right on the mark. It delivered 100%. It was enjoyable, easy and the assignments got you in the game. The book was written in a format that is easy to understand. Most of the chapters are very funny. I have met two girls in the last week alone. I highly recommend this book to people who are tired of dating services and clubs.

This book really works!
I followed the program in this book and I actually met a nice normal guy. Wow, a dating book that actually works. It required a bit of work, but it was well worth it. The book is easy to read and the pictures are funny. I gave this book to one of my friends and she liked it as well.

Awesome piece of Literature
I read this wonderful book and the results were more than I could have even hope for. This book is very informative and funny. The writers should be praised.

When Ali Met Jess
This is an exceptional first effort from a novelist who offers us an entertaining, humorous and insightful view of personal development at a particularly tricky time in life. Milner captures the theme of transition and puts it on the road, as Ali and Jess (basically strangers) are put together on a cross-country road trip, from New York to LA. When they hit the road, the characters couldn’t be more different, though they are both of a certain age (maybe two or three years out of college) and are both churning inside, desperately trying to process their feelings for their respective significant others.

On the road and at various stops along the way, Ali and Jess develop into thoughtful, caring individuals, still imbued with the spontaneity and curiosity of youth, but each questioning prior assumptions about what matters in life. Milner takes this situation and gives his take on how men and women react to the same situation, highlighting not only the differences between Ali and Jess, but also the differences between Ali and Dave (Jess’ boyfriend/fiance) and Jess and Kate (Ali’s girlfriend). The main characters learn from these situations and start to see things very differently from the way they did before they met.

Milner’s use of language is truly unique. His inventive phraseology will certainly ring true to anyone whose lexicon expanded beyond the realm of the OED in college, where new coin is often sociological currency. For me, the nud-I-tay dance was a real highlight. Just like the book jacket promised, I laughed out loud.

Ahead of Its Time
"Guy Critical" is in a genre all its own. It is immediately evident to the reader that Milner's pen has truly grasped the fine art form of the interplay of the communication skills and actions between the sexes. The journey cross-country with Alistair and Jess is a fun, fast-paced adventure which leads the reader to both discover the characters in the novel, and, by totally relating to their thoughts and actions, discover more about his or her self in the process. The true depth and warmth of the characters aided the seemingly effortless flow of the plot. I wholeheartedly recommend this novel to anyone who hopes and believes that some day men and women, if only for just five minutes, will think in harmony. We should be so fortunate to have the opportunity to read the sequel. . .

Great strategy model
This book does a great job of synthesizing the current state of business strategy thinking and introducing a model for practical application. I am using it in my business and having great success.

A Strategic Planner's Dream
At last - a straight-forward, practical book on a subject so vitally important in today's challenging business environment. For over 25years, I have been actively engaged in strategic planning, both as a business owner and a consultant and have read countless books on the subject. MASTERING STRATEGY is the most comprehensive and, at the same time, readable of them all. Rigsby and Greco have done a masterful job of identifying the best practices of the world's most successful companies, relating their performance to specific strategic success factors, and developing a strategic planning model based on their research. Moreover, they have tested their ideas in the glaring light of the marketplace through their consulting practices and, in so doing, have demonstrated the efficacy of their model. I strongly recommend this book to anyone in a position of responsibility - or aiming for such a position - in any business, whether small, large or gigantic, as well as to consultants whose focus is on helping their corporate clients improve profitability. Your money and your time will be well invested!

Not Just for Business
Master Strategy by Jeff Rigsby and Guy Greco is a direct arrow targeted
on business, and as such, is an excellent guide. Every CEO in the
country should read it, and if not become more successful, become
enlightened and educated.

My take on this book is quite different. Rather than looking at it from
a business point of view, I see it as a book fitting into a smaller
niche as well...people's lives, particularly students.

If read in it's entirety by teachers and students, it would point the
way for their personal success. The book has it all. It talks about
issues of vision, assessing themselves internally, being aware and
checking their moves through life, how to organize, the importance of
continual learning. It's all there ...an individual's path of success.

I plan to use these strategies with my students, and in my own life.

Totally Awesome
This book was great, It tells soooooo much info about 717's, 737's, 747's, 757's, 767's, 777's, and a lot of upcoming planes. It is soooooooooooooo good.

Another excellent aviation book from Guy Norris
'Modern Boeing Jetliners' covers the entire modern Boeing fleet from the 717 to the 777.

Norris also provides some really good information and advanced photos about the new Boeing BWB (Blended Wing Body) aircraft. The BWB may be Boeing's only hope in keeping up with Airbus, especially in light of the advanced orders for the A380.

Overall, the photos and commentary are very good.

The only lacking in the book, similar to Norris's book on the 777 is that the workings of the flight deck and avionics are a bit sparse.

Other than that, there is no other book around that can match Guy Norris book.

Overall, a great book about Boeing jet.

A book for Boeing fans
Excellent photography, interesting text, this book has it all. From the 717 to 777, it gives you a good idea about Boeing's latest products. As a Boeing pilot, I recommend it!

Not G Rated Material Any Longer
Kelly Carson has been crushing on total hottie Michael McCandles all summer. Finally Michael seems to have noticed her and Kelly is thrilled. But while flirting Kelly and Michael run into a few airheaded freshman who Michael expresses his not so friendly views on. So when Michael asks Kelly, who is a freshman, what grade she's in she lies and says she's a junior. She also ends up lying to him to get herself outta other situatons. I have to give Kelly props though, the girl is inginuative.

The Love Stories series has definately come a long way. It's grown with it's readers and this was a great finish. I'll sure miss it.

The Best Yet
Wow! What a way to end the 50 + book series with a bang!

With "The Older Guy" the writers have ventured into slightly new territory. No longer the G rated material of "My First Love." The series has grown up along with its readers.

Too bad this is the end. Just as things were getting good.

P.S. Rachel Hawthorne is my personal favorite author in the series. Does anyone know who's pseudonym that is?

The Definitive Options Book
Having decided to trade options I read every book available on the subject and viewed a number of videos. When I finally caught up with Guy Cohen's's book I thought I do not need another book on this subject, wrong. I quickly realised that the title "options made Easy" was correct it was by far the easiest book to understand the different strategies available with the potential risks & rewards of each trade, His trading symbols are unique.

When I sent a query to Guy's website I was astonished to get an answer in hours, very impressive.

If you want a thorough grounding in options in an easy to understand format I thoroughly recommend this book

The best book about options!
This is the best book I've read about options. It explains an EASY way to understanding the concepts of options, strategies, technical analysis and trading psychology, as the title says. It also explains the particular risk profile charts for every options strategy the book teaches. It guides you on about what criteria to use when screening stocks for particular options strategies. The technical analysis section offers an in depth and EASY way to spot chart patterns and gives you information on other indicators to monitor that can confirm the patterns. Everything in the book is explained clearly and understandably and at the end of each chapter there is a summary. Most importantly it talks about the investor psychology, which I think is the most important part of the equation. The best knowledge won't help if you don't have the right mind setting. Buy this book first, and then buy the other books you are considering about options.

Want to be in radio? Read this FIRST.
I have been in commercial, major-market radio since 1980. This book should be required reading in all broadcast schools, and for anyone who wants to get into "the business." Every single thing in this book is true, I have no doubt. (Cause I have seen it all first-hand!) A really, really accurate snapshot of what radio is REALLY like.

Brinke Guthrie...

I've been there, done that !
The only surprise about the things revealed in this book is that someone finally has the guts to publish them. I spent a career in radio and "insiders" and fans alike will find both hilarity and sadness at this look "behind the scenes" of big time radio broadcasting in YOUR home town. The DJ's, the Talk Show Hosts, the Sales [people] and the PD Gurus are all there. Plus Mr. Manager, the evil demon who walks in the door in the morning, walks to the back of the station and fires everyone he sees, then returns to his desk. If you are interested in radio, if you want a career in radio, if you LISTEN to radio, this is a "must read." "Jack James" will be fired soon...somebody is bound to find out who he really is. Stay tuned...don't touch that dial.

Airwaves
Wow...What a book..could not put it down. I always wondered what happens in radion stations across the country. Incredible stuff for Mr. James. Movie material for sure. Thank you for the interesting reading.

Death is a great teacher.
Larry Rosenberg, a respected meditation teacher, insightfully succeeds in bringing death to life in this meaningful new book. "The truth is," he observes, "death is not waiting for us at the end of the road, it is walking with us the whole time," from the moment we are born (p. 13). Unfortunately, readers who are uncomfortable confronting the unavoidable realities of aging, illness, and death may find this book morbid or depressing. Instead, however, Rosenberg encourages us to view death as "a great teacher . . . it teaches us how to live life" (p. 107).

"Death is here now," Rosenberg writes (p. 80). Everyone must die (p. 87). Our remaining life span is decreasing continually (p. 88). Death will come regardless of whether or not we are prepared (p. 91). Human life expectancy is uncertain (p. 93). There are many causes of death (p. 95). The human body is very fragile (p. 97). Our wealth cannot save us (p. 99). Our loved ones cannot help us (p. 101). Nor can our body help (p. 102). When viewed correctly, Rosenberg observes, these facts can become "doorways to liberation" (p. 141) that "make life more precious. They show us that every moment is a gift" (p. 97).

This book reads easily, and is filled with both interesting anecdotes and profound insights. Reading it could change your life.

A life changing book
As a new practitioner to the Buddhist way of life, I felt that this book distilled several books/teachings I've encountered on finding happiness in the present. I heartily recommend it to anyone living - especially those living in a fast-paced society.

living in the light of death
This book is brilliant..........using death awareness as subject, the author shows us how we can actually live in freedom now, today. His clear, experiential understanding of the dharma is revealed over and over again throughout and his convicted and loving embrace of it is an amazing gift, given graciously, to us all. One of the finest dharma books ever written!

How to Kiss a Guy (Love Stories #3)
Published in Paperback by Bantam Books (1995)
Author: Elizabeth Bernard
Amazon base price: $4.50
Used price: $1.25
Average review score:

One of the worst of the series
I've read most of the Love Stories books and this isn't one of the better ones. It was heavy handed and lacked interesting dialogue and character development. If you want to read the best from this series, I strongly recommend you read I Do by Elizabeth Chandler.

The best LoveStories book ever written
I've read dozens of the LoveStories series, ever since I was a very young teen, and this one remains my absolute favorite. The first time I read it, I stayed up until four am until I had finished it, and it positively gave me tingles. I'm in college now, but still every time I read it (often!), I feel the same way. The characters of Dylan and Naomi have stuck with me for a long time. It was romantic, funny, and had a good plot-- I loved everything about the play they were doing. I have to admit, though I like them, the LoveStories books usually have a thin plot with only semi-memorable characters, but this book goes above and beyond the cliched teen romance. (Personally, I think it deserves a better title than How to Kiss A Guy, but I guess I can overlook that.) Way to go, Elizabeth Bernard!! I'm a fan for life!

Very Romantic!
I really loved this book. I read it in one day! Out of all the Love Story books I have read, this one was the best! I really liked the way Naomi and Dylan, went from freinds, lovers, enimies, and back to lovers again. It really was like Beauty and the Beast. :)Elizabeth Bernard, Great Book!
