Fourth Grade Teacher Gives Five Stars
The Not-Just-Anybody Family is a book my whole classroom enjoyed. It has action, humor, a missing dog, an out-of-town mom, and a grandpa in jail. The children in the book are very real and my students could relate to their feelings and difficulties. The settings change from chapter to chapter and Betsy Byars writes just enough about each situation to keep you wanting more. This book helped my students learn the meaning of "suspense" and almost all of them gave the book a rating of nine or ten on a one to ten scale. I plan on ordering the audio version for some of my students next year.

Who's missing now in the Blossom family?
When Pap Blossom goes into town that's when it all started. Breaking into jail, jumping off the roof, missing mom and lost dog are some of the interesting things that happen to the Blossom family. If I could I would give it a hundred stars. I think this book is a 4th, 5th, and 6th grade book. Now you know what it is about so go get the book NOW!!

a family goes separate ways and ends up together.
This book is a very good book for a third or fourth grader. It tells about all of the family and where they are and then it brings them together with various means. this is a great book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

soulmates
This book was written very articuatly.

My husband and I and my 19 year old grand dauhter read this book. The book was very touching and made the three of us cry. I recomend this book for all ages.

Soulmate
This is a story about a young womans quest for love, romance and acceptance. It explores her fathers role in this quest and how he influences her life as she longs for his acceptance. The author is both sensitive and insightful into many real life dramas being played out in todays world. Her love and tenderness show through in a real way towards her fellow human and in her love of animals. Anyone, especially women would benefit from reading this book.

Couldn't put it down, A Must Read
I found the book Soulmate to be an inspiring story which not only covers the issues of interracial love but also the personal strength of a young woman who after facing many other adversities and tragedies in her life manages to hold on to her faith through it all.

Terrific Foreward
The forward by Jacqueline Larralde de Saenz is really terrific, very loving and detailed. I liked it. It brings the reader right into the book and the author's point of view, from the vantage point of this highly respected anthropologist. Highly recommended reading.

Fantastic Book
This is a fantastic book, really well written. It is also fun, funny and unusual. It sees things most people don't see. It notices and it describes and it informs. I loved it and am planning to give it to friends as a gift.

Demystifying the Maya
Mystery, enigma, consternation...all words associated with the Maya. This book, however, sees them in more intimate, more reasonable and more logical form. A wonderful travel book, great descriptions of the Maya World, but also a sensible approach to their culture. Be sure to read "The Other Side of Yesterday, the China-Maya Connection", by the same author. Thought provoking and exciting!

This is a great book!
This is a really good book! It tells you everything you need to know about chihuahuas. This book is really helpful if you have a chihuahua or are getting one. I recommend this book to anyone who loves chihuahuas.

It has everything!
This book I recomed to all! It is very useful to anybody who is planning to buy a chihuahua or who already has one.It has whole chapters for grooming and for nutrition and lots more on chihuahuas!!It is really helpful and at the same time entertaining and funny!

Perfect for new chihuahua owners
This book was very informative. Chihuahuas are very smart and loving little dogs, who often have a bad reputation. The book has a great section on manners, so that the myth about chihuahuas can be changed. If you are thinking about getting a puppy or an older dog, this is the book to read.

Provides full coverage
I have several books that are cited to support full coverage for the difficult CCDA exam, none of which except the CISCO written books really lived up to their promise.
If CISCO are manageing the exam, then it make sense to train up with their books.
If you buy this box set, then read all and learn all you will pass the exam.
Don't waste your money trying to save pennies - - Get the real thing and pass first time. These book are as good as it gets.

Makes my taking the exam a whole lot easier.
After passing the CCNA exam I decided to pursue the CCDA certification and since the exam was developed by Cisco, why not use their material in order to pass the exam. What I found in this prep library is 3 of the best books out on the market.

While there is no one saying which book to start with, I recommend the Internetworking Technologies Handbook as the place to start. Starting with the basics, then LAN protocols, then WAN technologies, bridging and Switching, network protocols and finally routing protocols gives you the foundation to build on.

I then moved to the Designing Cisco Networks book, which can be used in a classroom without a hitch. This book covered topics like business solutions, designing topologies, building and testing prototypes and even has a sample exam and case studies.

Rounding out the set is the CCDA Exam Certification Guide which helps prepare you for the actual exam with topics like Applications, customer support, topologies and LAN design, Wan Design, documentation and case studies. Overall there seems to more than enough information to pass the exam.

a common mistake...
...is to confuse the CCDA design exam with the CCNA support exam. There is NO new CCDA design exam - it is the same exam Cisco has been offering for some time now - #640-441. However, the CCNA support exam has been superceded by the new #640-507.

If one cannot match the correct certification book with it's correlating exam - maybe it is time to consider a different way to make a living.

This bundled pack is excellent. One should probably not invest hard earned cash on anything else. If one wants to learn the Cisco way - buy Cisco Press books. Also worth mentioning is the high quality paper, great type set, and superior graphics.

Getting off your plantation
This is a fabulous book. It really hits home.
getting off "your" plantation, not getting off "the" plantation.
Your plantation may be different from mine,
you might not even know you have a plantation,
but once you read this book, identify your plantation,
take action and get on with life.
Dreams do come true!!
Congratulations Jackie, this is definately five star material.

PR

overcoming current situation through sufficient resource
Jackie, this script of lavished insight to the release of whatever bounds man from succeeding is very inspiring to the soul as well as the mind. God has truly blessed you with a story to tell...and i do believe that it will be heard and remembered for years to come. Please continue and may God bless you and all that you aspire to achieve richly.

Absolutely Ingeniously Written
"Getting Off Your Plantation" is a wonderful work of art. Jackie, from start to finish, I enjoyed and appreciated your ability to make the reading flow with ease and your literary skills and style. I must say, an inspiring masterpiece has evolved and the potential for writing any future works or bestsellers lies within your faith in self and faith in God. Keep up the good work. Keep encouraging your family and hopefully we all will "get off the plantation". May God bless you in all of your future endeavors.

A Heart-filled Story of Triumph
Jackie Joyner-Kersee elaborately describes the struggles and obstacles that she had to overcome to become a successful and outstanding athlete and person. Her book is filled with emotions that the reader can intially relate to. Her life was filled with adversity and proves that a strong and self-determined person can triumph regardless of depressing and self-destructing obstacles that may stand in your way. Jackie, who is portrayed through the media to be "Superwoman" is really more human and down to the earth than most of the world. Life for Jackie was not always "peaches and cream." She was born and raised in East St. Louis, which was not known as a very safe place at the time. A reporter once suggested to Jackie that she should not tell people where she was from cause it might destroy her image. This event, however, made Jackie appreciate her hometown even more. You cannot put into words why this woman is thought of as superb. She went from rock bottom to soaring to the unlimited top. With the help of this book, Jackie's title as "The World's Greatest Female Athlete" has been justified.

~TOTALLY AN INSPIRATION, PERFECT ROLE MODEL~
A Kind of Grace is an excellent book. I think everyone should read it. It gave me a whole new look on life and how to appreciate everything I have. It also gave me inspiration to work hard at track. Now I have the heart and determination to train, lift weights, and practice, practice, practice. So everyone please buy and read this wonderful book, A Kind of Grace.

well-written, entertaining, and deeply moving
Jackie Joyner-Kersee's autobiography is everything a biography should be, well-written, entertaining, and deeply moving. Unlike many celebrity bios that center around events, primarily ones that reflect well on the author, Jackie's book is people-centered and equally honest about her struggles as well as her triumphs. She writes with love and admiration about many people who have touched her life both in big and small ways. It is not hard to see why Jackie became the woman and athlete that she is. This book could have just as easily been titled "The World's Greatest Role Model for Young People."

A good introduction to the ninth planet
This book is a well-written and enjoyable summary of what we know about Pluto and its relatively huge moon Charon. However, the fact of the matter is we don't know much because we have yet to send a spacecraft to this fascinating double planet! Stern and Mitton do a great job presenting the timeline of our discoveries about Pluto as well as the latest theories on the compositions and origin of these bodies.

I was especially impressed with the discussion of Pluto's atmosphere changing as a result of the planet's greatly elliptical orbit around the Sun. In addition, the authors give a great detailed breakdown of the discoveries gleaned from the mutual occultations in the late 80s. Also, this book was written several years ago but we have since indeed found many more Kuiper Belt objects that lend great credibility to the theory of Pluto simply being one of the largest of that family.

Too much time was spent on describing the birth and continuing struggles of the Pluto Express project. This discussion would have been more appropriate if the spacecraft had even launched, let alone successfully completed its mission. But the fact is that NASA's funding issues have kept the project grounded for now. Hopefully it'll fly in the next couple years. If it doesn't, much of the mission may be compromised because Pluto is getting farther from the Sun each day and as a result its atmospheric activity is dying.

Overall a great effort and worth your time. Don't expect incredible revelations and photographs though, because we still have yet to visit the place!

You want to become a Plutophile?
If you don't know much about the "King of the Kuiper Belt", read this book, and you will have a very clear scientific description of this "massive comet"...

This book is complete, starting from the historic discovery (blind luck, really) of Pluto, the subsequent observations that kept on shrinking the planet, then the suprising discovery of Charon, the fortuitious Pluto/Charon occultation, and the latest HST results.

Easy to read, and yet technical enough, this book will probably make you love this planet, even though it's only a big comet saved from destruction by its orbital resonance with Neptune... and will make you hate NASA (or the US Congress) for not going forward with their Pluto Express probe.

A Brand New Perspective On Our Solar System
A well written historic perspective on our outer-most-planet that by books' end will change your view of our solar system.

A thoroughly enjoyable easy-to-read book. More hard science/discovery books should be written this way.

It's not just the facts that are amazing but the proven-wrong theories we use to have on Pluto. Too bad we're still waiting for our first encounter with this mysterious planet. If history proves right, the Voyager probes were just another step in our discovering the 'real' solar system.

A fabulous read
I read this book at age 9 and couldn't put it down. This book is perfect for girls ages 7-10 who still have yet to master the art of reading. The story is about a girl who's parents are separated and she moves around very often. She is so witty and good- natured that she finds an adventure in every move she makes. The illistrations are simple and yet unique and I would recommend this book to any girl, around the age of 7-10.

Review of The bed and breakfast star
I read this book when I was younger, and I absolutley loved it. I'm 15 now, and I still have to say this is probably the best book I have ever read. I love all the titles by Jaqueline Wilson, but this one is my favourite. Probably because this story covers all emotion. It is at times sad, but others very funny. The main character is great, and Jaqueline Wilson captures the emotion perfectly. You can see the character clearly in your head. If this is an adult reading this review, considering buying it for a child, do! This is an excellent book, and even if your child does not like reading they will find it very hard to put this book down!

Totally and uterly excelent!!!!
It usually takes me ages to read a long book but I could not put this book down. It is one of very best books I have ever read!!!!!!!!
