THANK GOD NO FANCY WORDS
I found this book to be written for both married and unmarried people. The title is very interesting.
This book offers insights to all relationships and can help anyone in a relationship build better relationships.
This is not sugary sentiment or smoke and mirrors to make you feel better for awhile. This will really help you in the long run, whether you are man or woman, in a committed relationship or not.
Read it, you will be pleasantly surprised.

An excellent new poet
I recently heard Osherow at a reading and was struck by the cleverness of her language, the sound of her poetry and the insight and beauty of her thoughts. Had I not heard her in person, I would certainly read her poetry quite differently, and perhaps even enjoy it slightly less. This is because she reads quite quickly, not slowly intoning each word like the tolling of a bell, but with a certain melody and free flowing style that is appropriate to the conversational tone of many of her poems. This is not to say that this is light verse! She is one of the few poets to tackle religious themes and do it well (obviously Geoffrey Hill would be another, very different, example). I hope you may keep some of these things in mind when you read this work, and do read it! (out loud, of course!)

Colorful illustrations and informative writing make this an ideal picture book for Halloween or an other time of the year. This picture book is suited to elementary school children. It is includes facts and legends about the pine barrens of New Jersey and the Jersey Devil. But most of all, it has a good story, one to which children everywhere can relate. Andy, with the help of his Dad, learns how to confront fear and overcome it. A good read for parents and children alike!

Same Style as Jackie Collins
This book is written in the same style as Jackie Collins uses. It's centered on Hollywood drama and scandals. Both authors are wonderful and do a good job depecting the less glamourous side of being famous.
This novel centers around a woman that becomes entwined with a family and touches each of them in an unforgettable way. When they are called together to her house each has their own fear of what she is going to expose them for.
Barry is the man she married. He is an alchohlic and clings to her. Even when he knows she doesn't love him, he uses pity and whatever emotions he can dredge up to keep her with him.
His twin sister used to love her and became very close with her. When Barry's wife becomes pregnant, a jealousy and anger consume her. She doesn't realize that this baby was unwanted at the time and because of the circumstances. She herself can not have children. When she gives her the baby, you would think it would be rejoicing for the gift, instead it's fear and anger.
Maxwell is Barry's cousin and he's always had his own obssesion with his wife. He would go to any lengths to obtain her for himself. He does. His biggest fear is that someday she will tell about the awful thing he did to her.
Hal is Maxwell's brother and he loves her. He loves her completely and without fail. The two of them together are pure magic. When he disappears and is believed dead, she alone looks for a sign that he's still there.
What could she possibly have drawn all of them together again for? The scandals, secrets, and mysteries unfold. An awesome book. When your finished reading it, check out The Naked Heart for another beautiful story.

A dynamic experience for your students
This book is part of the GEMS workbooks. I have used several of these books in my classroom and they have never failed to provide quality knowledge or learning experiences for my students. This book provided top quality background information with several lessons. It also included everything you need to know in the way of safety and storage of dry ice for the labs. I recommend this book to any science teacher who want to engage their students in doing science, rather than just reading about science.
