This Book Might Do You a World of Good
This is not a book you read before you go to bed. Sleep is impossible because your mind goes wild thinking of all the possiblilities for your success. Don't imagine that success is limited to financial cuccess. It includdes emotional, physical , mental. The book also attempts to steer you towards the sublime goals fo happiness, a positive self-image, achievement and a better lifestyle. Author Kurt A. Schneider is the first to acknowledge that he leaned on other authors for his work. But much of it has come from participants in his Utah-based Golden Keys Success Seminar. Credits are given to positive thinkers Napolean Hill, W. Clement Stone, Alex Osborn, Norman Vincent Peale, Paul Harvey, Earl Nightingale and others. I loaned te book to a friend who has a library of books and pamphlets encouraging people to upgrade their thinking habits. He said that althought he had read some of the material before, the book has the advantage of finding it in one place. As te name implies, "Imagining Success" shows how mental exercises can give you enerty, how it can help associates think positively about you, and leads you to be the master or mistress of what you eat and achieve. It teaches you about the subconscious mind which the author says is more powerful than your conscious mind. The following sub-chapters might interest the buyer of books about positive thinking: success depends on your attitude; the whole secret of success is expectation; dreams with the help of your subconscious mind; you can achieve your goals. Others are: harmonious marriage throught the power of your subconscious; why marriages fail; everyone will experience a positive change in the first few days and that change will become stronger and stronger day by day; are you climbing molehills?" Because the book relies on positive rather than negative messages, it might do you a world of good.

i dig it
This was a christmas present for my mom who bikes constantly. It's awesome. There is plenty of room to record any and everything about your trip, a repair log, lots of practical advice, and just about anything else you can think of. It's great for someone who takes bike trips and likes to record it. it's a really neat book.

Brilliant insanity
Glimpses into the mind and souls of schizophrenics, who try and explain their realities through poetry. The absolute honesty of their position is startling, many of them stand firmly in their beliefs, while others do not know what is real and what is not. Some of the insanity starts to make sense as the reader is drawn into the thoughts of the authors.

An impressive, profusely illustrated monograph
In Jimmy Ernst, art critic Donald Kuspit presents an impressive, profusely illustrated monograph on the artwork of Jimmy Ernst (1920-1984). Ernst's art was unique to his time as he drew upon boyhood memories of Germany (his father was the great Surrealist master Max Ernst, his mother Jewish journalist and art historian Louise Straus-Ernst -- killed in the Holocaust at the hands of Nazis. Ernst developed a distinctly American style of his own blending abstract, crystalline form to the spiritual imagery of Gothic art. Ernst fused the vigor of American jazz and Native American cultural concepts with his European memories in paintings that would evolve decade by decade as expressions of "visual scat", an ultimately pure abstraction. Jimmy Ernst is a welcome and important contribution to the history of 20th Century American art.

Continuously hilarious
Tim Barela's second collection of Leonard & Larry follows where the first left off. This collection continues to follow the strangely normal lives of this loving couple and their expanding, sometimes erratic, family. Barela continues to show that life as a couple, whether gay or straight, is pretty much a universal constant -- ups, downs, fights, reconciliation, funny, sad, etc. It tackles dating, marriage, children, ghosts, tragedy, and a hilarious visit to Heaven. Whatever your orientation, you'll find that you can relate to what's going on. If you've read "Domesticity Isn't Pretty," you must read this one. If not, don't be surprised if the ghosts of Tchaikovsky and Brahms pay you a visit...

I think, then I live! This is what Godel revealed.
I read this book in Japanese translation. Godel mentioned gvitalismh only once in it. But I think this word is what he wanted to say most about the incompleteness theorem. Mathematicians learned the form of the theorem, but ignored the meaning of it. This book is a precious clue to answer the question: What is mathematics?@I am now trying to depicting mathematics from the start of thinking to the end. This book is a reliable navigator for me.

Nermin Bezmen
First of all I would like to send my congratulation to Nermin Bezmen. When she wrote this book, some years ago
"Kurt Seyt & Shura" I told her that she should get Omar Sharif to play one of the lead rolls.
My husband and I were fortunate enough to have been given a private dinner in our honor as we look out over the Bosphorus in Istambul Turkiye at the home of mutual friends Asaf Guneri.
With her husband Pamir Bezmen and our mutual good friends Nurver Aydan Nures. We had and unforgetable evening.
We hope you can send this message on to her and ask her to send us and Email soon.
