A Tribute To Those Who Serve on Freedoms Frontier
As a retired US Service member reading Milton Peterson's book "Sleeping Dragon" stirred many memories of the past within me. In my early military years I was one of those Intel Intercept Operators at a remote site in a foreign country monitoring a then enemy military force. Later in my military career I served in the hostilities of Vietnam. Still later I served and in a retired status am still serving our soldiers, saliors, airmen and marines and their families in Korea. I am more than vagely familiar with the settings so vividly depicted by Mr. Peterson in his book. The story line is well written, interesting and exciting. It also makes one wonder, just how many MIA's are still alive and wanting to come home? I strongly recommend Milton "Pete" Peterson's book "Sleeping Dragon". Good job Pete. What's next?

The MIAs of the Forgotten Korean War
The hero of "The Sleeping Dragon" is an MIA of the Korean War. People usually call The Korean War as "The Forgotten WAr." But we should know that there are many MIAs in north Korea who still miss to come to the South(Korea) and U.S.A., their homeland. The author, Milton Peterson, did not forget it. He emphasizes that there are such U.S. MIAs and that we should help him return to his homeland. The book tells with eloquence that we should share the agony and pain of the families who lost their beloved sons, husbands and brothers during the Korean War. The history repeats when we forget it. The best way of people as well as readers of this book to contribute for peace is to remember and rescue the MIAs to return their families. All these humanistic stories are vividly depicted in "The Sleeping Dragon" by Milton Peterson!
It surely is a great gift for us to have a chance to read this book. The author shows endless love for the 'forgotten MIAs of the Korean War Thank you!

Very Helpful, Informative
I refer to this book at least four times a week. I'm a mother of 3, and I'm struggling with the amount of TV my kids watch. This book helped me to get a clear view on what was ok and not ok for my kids to watch, and how to limit the amount of TV they see every day. Dr. Chen has written this book in a very clear manner that I found very useful. A great find!

Excellent, informative, and helpful book
Dr. Milton Chen clearly explains ways to take control of what your kids are watching on TV, and the wonderful effects educational TV can have on children. I would recommend buying this book because it is helpful, comprehensive, easy to understand, and very informative.

fantastically engrossing
I read this book in conjunction with some research I was doing on the Sand Creek Massacre for a term paper I was doing in college. My prof. gave me the book to use and I found myself totaly immersed in it. Mendoza does a wonderful job of describing why the massacre took place, how it took place, and the aftermath of the massacre. I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in American history.

An extrememly accurate and touching historical novel!
Pat's book is the most accurate account that I've read of the events leading up to the Sand Creek Massacre and the years that followed. Beautifully written and researched, this book will take you there, to Sand Creek on that fateful and sad November morning so many years ago. This book was written with sensitivity and respect for all those touched by this unfortunate event in history

Trick-Or-Treat on Milton Street (Picture Books)
Published in Unknown Binding by Carolrhoda Books (E) (2001)
Authors: Lisa Bullard and Joni Oeltjenbruns
Amazon base price: $15.95

Halloween with a New Twist
I truly enjoyed this book. Lisa Bullard's use of a Trick-or-Treating expedition to show the relationship between a boy and his new stepfather was masterful. The unexpected turn of events at the end was sweet and surprising. Oeltjenbruns illustrations evoke the coziness of home, family, and fall.
If you're looking for something different and new for Halloween this is the book.

A Treat Without Tricks!
With an amazing understanding of the young mind, Lisa Bullard has written another book for today's children. Reminding the reader that the changing family structures of today can be a great opportunity for a child, that it can expand their horizons, Trick-or-Treat on Milton Street has a way of feeling like it was written just for you, about you,or about your best friend. This story of a new stepdad and a new neighborhood will hit home for both children and parents. We learn that a new parent can bring you fun, friends, and new experiences. Joni Oeltjenbruns' art just keeps getting better! A great gift book for Halloween, the child who is moving or getting a new parent, or for the avid picture book collector.

Julie at her best!
Remember that great movies from the 80's? Well, Victor/Victoria is back! With new songs added and Julie Andrews in the lead again the CD can't miss. However, the vocal score can impress by giving a great splash of the songs. A little bit of everything- but a lot of fun!

Victoria, what a Victor you are!
I think this book is wonderful, as far as vocal selections go. Every song brings back memories of the Broadway production and movie "Victor/Victoria", both with Dame Julie Andrews. My personal favorite, "Crazy World", can still bring a tear to my eye. It's worth buying-it'll bring much enjoyment. And many fond mem'ries.

What to Do When Someone Dies: A Legal, Financial & Practical Guide
Published in Paperback by Pere Bruin Pr (1997)
Author: Milton Berry Scott
Amazon base price: $19.95
Average review score:

If the death of a loved one is a new experience for you....
Scott offers very practical, concise and organized guidebook which I wish I had from day 1...This book focuses on necessary and predictible situations: what needs to be done, when it should be done and who should do it. It defines the terminology simply. The writing is clear and comprehensible. This book is so important for someone newly experiencing the operational side of death, that I purchased multiple copies for my fellow mourners.

Excellent, Simple Overview
This book is both simple and practical. When someone close to you dies, worrying about all the details of what to do next can be overwhelming. Many people are too distraught to deal with potentially complex legal and financial issues. This book provides an easy step-by-step approach to the whole process, and doesn't overwhelm the reader with too much detail.

Very Good
This a wonderful CD. It helps out in so many ways that I can not even begin to explain.

Excellent program
Perfect for medical students and residents. This has everything you will ever need to know (unless you're going into radiology). But for the rest of us, it's a must-have before starting to take call and it's way better to go through these cases than to try to read yet another textbook.
