Educational & Entertaining!
My daughter absolutely loves all her Brain Quests! The Bible Brain Quest has been challenging to her & educational also, obviously, because she learned things about the bible she didn't know if she didn't know the answer. I highly recommend as a learning tool--the questions are a good range between very easy to more difficult. We bring the Brain Quests along on long road trips, & they are a lifesaver! Your kids will find these to be interesting enough to keep them entertained for a couple of hours at a time--my daughter never wants to put it down!

Inspiring stories. A great read.
It's too bad these are "little-known" stories -- they just might change the way we understand race relations in this country. A living history from a insightful and compelling social analyst. Reads more like a novel than a history book.

Clear and Useful
I had the chance to study in Professor's Unger class at Georgetown University. This book that I read after leaving Georgetown University encompasses all the details related to this very specific subject which makes its reading useful and makes the book worth keeping. Clarity and exhaustiveness are the main qualities of this outstanding book.

The funniest book
I read this book for light summer reading but I ended up not being able to put it down, its so funny and full of clever british wit that I was laughing out loud so much that my housemate thought that I had someone in the room with me.
Its not necessarily a book for people who dont like bad language but it just ads to the realism of the chapters.
i definetly think you should read this book!

What do you get when you connect a zillion computers togethe
This reference describes a computer architecture containing thousands of processor/memory cells that can be connected together by software, and the rational behind this architecture. It is easy to read, and is useful in providing the general reader with a feel for large multiple processor computation, in particular an architecture well suited for semantic network marker propagation.

Perry is the best at
Danny Perry's obvious love of film is infectious. His knowledge lost and beloved classics of the odd and forgotten will make you run out to th local video store in search of gem after gem. Even when you disagree with him, Perry supports his viewpoint in a fun, quickwitted style. My only complaint is that as 20 years has gone by since its intial publication where is CULT MOVIES 4?

It's a good story with some suspenseful moments!
As the first book in the series, it sets a good pattern of stories for Danny, Steve, and Steve's sister Cat. I hope to see more like this. Danny faces evil monsters called Golgoths inside his computer game. It's perfect for kids who enjoy action and adventure stories. I really liked it. Danny even gains the ability to see in binary numbers, just like his computer, and see bright color patterns. That stuff got my attention! If you like a good mix of a fantastic tall tale and computers, you will enjoy this book. "Danny" is a grrrreat good book for kids to read.

Charming Addition to Mr. Hoff's Danny & the Dinosaur Series
Danny's big Jurassaic age pal is back for another adventure. Danny returns to the museum and takes his friend the dinosaur to summer camp where they experience a typical day in the life of a camper. Mr. Hoff's has hit his mark again. Danny and the dinosaur go to camp offers a clear and simple presentation of the kinds of values we should all strive for. The dinosaur potentially a creature of fear, is gentle, noble and considerate. Values such as acceptance of those unlike ourselves, sharing, participation and friendship are expressed with simple eloquence in both word and illustration. While meant for early readers, the story is engaging for all ages.
This book may also help allay the fear of detachment experienced by many children prior to attending their first summer in camp.

Danny helped me build Emotional Intelligence skills.
Danny helped me build Emotional Intelligence skills. I didn't know what to do after the first step of "recognizing ones feelings." His story showed me how to work with my feelings as a process. I found the book to be very appealing and most useful.
Danny Dunn and the Smallifying Machine

One of my personal favorites.
Danny, Joe, Irene, and Professor Bullfinch are "smallified" and wander through the now-enormous landscape. Danny rides a butterfly--thrilling! All this decades before "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids".
