Very suitable for an Executive MBA Course
I am teaching a graduate level course in Technology Management next semester (Fall 2003). This book contains a lot of information in a rather condensed way which makes is hard to read. However, it covers the theory and the real business issues (through case studies) world in a very balanced way. I intend to use it as a text book.

my kids love it!
"Mitzva" is Hebrew and Yiddish slang for "Good Deed", and this book gives lots of ways that you can learn about and do Good Deeds.
Don't be put off by the name (if you don't understand it) - but it is most descriptive. And like all of Danny Siegel's books, this one is great reading.

An innovative master
I know Danny Conant's photographs well...have seen them for years around many galleries in the Washington, DC area, including mine. And yet the sheer elegance and ingenuity that she keeps presenting to the world via her silver gelatin eye is still astonishing to me. Conant is a master. She is a dedicated woman with an unending thirst with trying new things and approaches and subjects to her photography. This is her first book, and a good one that it is - but it is but a tiny window into Danny Conant's photographic world - although a very important one to her, for she has developed a beautiful love for Tibet and its handsome people that this book delivers as a clear and powerful testament. Here's to many more books to come!

It really does unlock those doors.......
This is a collection of Danny Siegel's poetry. I enjoyed reading it, and in fact, I continue to enjoy it. I have shared it with my children and have often quoted parts of the very meaningful words Danny writes.
I highly recommend it to all.

Great
This is a great screenplay for a great film. I can't wait for Kirk Jones to write his next movie. I only wish those few scenes described in the script but left out of the film had shone up on the DVD. If you're a fan of screenplays, pick this up; you won't be disappointed.

So this is what Midrash is?
Midrash is the Hebrew word for 'explication' - well, that means 'explaining'. And this is a book that deals with ancient Midrash - stories (true and fabled) about every topic under the sun.
Danny knows how to read the original Hebrew texts and interpret them for us in these modern times. It is a great source book.

The best midrash there is....
Danny Siegel's midrash is the best there is. It covers so many topics and it is very easy to use. Ancient texts come to life and are so practical for today.
Enjoy!

So funny it's probably all true ...
I think we all know people who would actually try some of these tactics, and THAT'S what makes some of these so funny !!
For example, what NOT to write in a follow-up letter to Human resources:
" ... please note that my home contact phone number has been changed. If you ever look out your window (for example, right now), you will see a red Ford van in the parking lot. That's me."
