I feel the book was accurate; children can know the truth
Dear Sharon Denslow: I wish to thank you as the great granddaughter of Nathan Bernard Stubblefield (that's Bernard, not Beverly) I am most greatful that the truth is being told. Though you wrote the book mainly for children, the new breed of kids will at least have a chance to learn the truth of who truly invented the radio, as you know. Your father must have really admired my great grandfather, and I thank him too for teaching you. I hope you will personally read this message too, Ms. Denslow, for I am truly tickled pink. I am going to give some copies to the Stubblefield youngsters in my family. Thank you again.

Bye bye "hello Rainey"

Sincerly, Priscilla Stubblefield

Restore My Soul (Tr from Hebrew)
Published in Paperback by Breslov Research Inst (1980)
Authors: Nachman of Breslov, Nathan of Breslov, and Avraham Greenbaum
Amazon base price: $4.00
Average review score:

Glimpses of Rebbe Nachman, introduced by Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan.
This is a valuable collection of spiritual insights and aphorisms -- a taste of Breslov teachings. One of my favorites is: "When asked, 'What is in reality the power of choice?' the Rebbe answered, 'Simple. If you want, you do. If not, not.'"

I've treasured this book since it was first published in 1980. It was one of the first translations of Rebbe Nachman into English and a courageous undertaking at the time. The introduction by Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan is inspiring reading in itself.

Book four of the Saga of the Well World
As a general warning, this is the fourth book of a tightly knit series. While the book is written to stand on its own, greater enjoyment can be found be reading the previous three novels: Midnight at the Well of Soul, Exiles at the Well of Souls, and Quest for the Well of Souls; before reading this one.

This book begins back at the same interstellar community where the previous novels begin (it's know as the Comworlds, or the Com for short). An alien race has arrived from another galaxy and is bent on conquest of ours, and since they're more advanced than the Com, they're winning.

Mavra Chang, survivor of the War of the Well World, has just returned to the Comworlds.

The true reality of the situation is far grimmer than they realize, and when they do catch up with Brazil, they regret it.

Overall, the series really starts to pick up steam here, and that after admitting that the previous novels are already good to begin with. END

A Literary and Experiential Diamond In The Rough!
This soul stirring book is like none other I have read. And the authors are like no one else I have met. This audacious young couple sets out to rewrite the way we look at ourselves, the world and the journey we are all travelling. They redraw the maps we are used to following. They tear up the rule books and then write their own. They sell everything they own, sever all ties, burn all the bridges(their motto: "Never Go Back!"), and stake out new territory in the Here And Now. Then they scoup you up out of that comfortable armchair and take you along with them across the Patagonian wastelands, over top-of-the-world Andean passes, through impenetrable jungles, across raging rivers, and into other realms of thought and action and revelation you would never have ventured into otherwise. As I read, I could feel my world spinning, then turning upsidedown. Then I was in a totally different orbit, a different space, from which I could see myself, others around me, and the little blue planet Earth we live on, in a startling new way. Suddenly it was so much more than a horseback odyssey I was on: it became the universal journey we are all traveling. Nothing has ever inspired me more.Give it a read! I guarantee you'll never be the same and you'll thank the authors for shaking you up.

I loved this book
Two child\teen enemies find money in a old house and they runaway from home, because of personal difficulties. Through the story they not only become friends, but have to pretend like they are related not to be discovered, and taken home. They sacrifice alot to please, and as well get along with eachother. I read this book 3 years ago from a library, tried to buy it, and was heart broken when I found out that It was out of print.

School Law and the Public Schools: A Practical Guide for Educational Leaders
Published in Hardcover by Allyn & Bacon (12 January, 1999)
Author: Nathan L. Essex
Amazon base price: $45.00
Average review score:

A "Make Sense" Guide For All Educators
The author wrote this book in such a manner that a high school government student could understand the majority of the legal discussion and implications for school leaders.

Today's educator would be remiss not to read this down to earth text and not pay attention to its contents while working in today's educational environments where one is constantly exposed to being sued.

The author provides the reader with clear and understandable legal definitions, administrative summaries, landmark cases, and interesting legal situations that have occurred in public schools across the United States.

Classroom teachers, school principals, superintendents, school board members, and graduate students all come away with a sense of "I will not do that again" after reading this very practical school law guide.

While the book does not address school integration and school finance issues from a legal stance, it does an excellent job of addressing all other aspects of educational law.

Will provide spine-tingling reading for the entire family
The best and most accurate portrayal of B-1 Bob you're going to read. I had always suspected he might be nuts, now I know. "Shut Up,Fag!" possesses the right mix of biographical background, infamous quotations and biting humour. I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful book.
