Every recipe we've tried so far is a winner!!
My husband and I took this recipe book with us on our vacation to Florida. I enjoy cooking and do not have alot of time to cook at home. We tried several recipes and enjoyed every one!! I left the cookbook in our vacation home for others to use and am ordering another one to have at home. We usually go out to eat while on vacation but I used this book and we enjoyed wonderful meals at home. The meals were elaborate but with not alot of preparation time. I've never used a cookbook so much.

Well organized - user friendly
Trusting a recipe often comes down to trusting the source. The sources for the recipes are impeccable; in fact, they're some of the best chefs in the state.

I really liked this book.
I thought this book portrayed the confusing and emotional process of deciding what to do with the rest of your life. It can be an intimidating experience, and Judy Baer expressed that with the right amount of truthfulness and humor.

It's all over!
This was a great book! It focused on the gang's graduation and how confused and scared they all are about going to college and growing up. The end of the book is a pretty emotional part, when they are all graduating and talk about what college they are each going off to. Judy Baer makes it pretty obvious this will be the last Cedar River Daydreams book she'll write. If you are a true fan, it's a sad moment!

Covers safe sites
The sites are terrific and well researched, but what I really liked best was all the information about how to make surfing the internet safe for my kids.

FABULOUS! Great tips, great sites, great fun!
Heim and Hansen have done it again! I bought Free Stuff for Quilters for my wife, and she loves it. We bought Free Stuff for Crafty Kids for our children, and we all love it. The beginning of the book is solid Internet information, the stuff everyone surfing should know. The meat of the book is a large assortment of "crafty" sites for everyone, young and old, of all skill levels. Sure we could find similar sites on our own. But why bother? Heim and Hansen did all the work and leave us with all the fun. I'm making kites with my son. My wife and daughter are polishing their drawing skills and learning about rubber stamping. I highly recommends this book!

Freedom versus Feminism

Life-changing book
Every one of us desires to reach our full potential and become the woman God intended us to be...this book will help you do just that! Through Judy's thorough research plus her powerful, real-life stories, she shares her personal journey and exposes some of the myths and madness about today's feminism. She provides practical "how-to's" which we can all embrace to find true inner freedom. Whether you are just discovering your need for genuine inner peace, or if you are wanting to pursue closer relationships with loved ones, family or God, this is an absolute must-read.

Informative and Readable
Judy has written an exceptional book that traces the birth of the Feminist movement, then follows it's rise and it's diversion from the orginal purpose. Although it is full of facts and valuable information, it is written in an extremely readable and interesting fashion. I always wondered how come I could hold to some of the ideals of feminism and yet feel so mis-represented by those who claim to be advocates of women's rights.

This is not a book of propaganda of someone's victim mentality. It is a book that is well researched, well written and gives true feminity and freedom a balanced and valuable exposure. It is a must read for people who are concerned about true equality, and truly protecting and promoting the freedoms of men and women of every diversity.

Well done!

A very well written book.
After a few years in waiting, I am glad to see that the Bond Market Association has released the 5th addition of The Fundamentals of Municiple Bonds. The author of this book did a great job capturing the signifigance of the municiple bond, and exaplining it clearly with graphs and charts. I highly recomend this book and give it a 5 star rating.

WOW!
This book was amazing. Not only was it a great read (I couldn't put it down) but it was also very informative. I learned more about derivatives in this book than I could have in any classroom or any other book on bonds.

Spice
This Indonesian version of Cinderella hails from the Moluccas, or Spice Islands--the place to which Christopher Columbus was headed when he found the New World. In 1492 they were the only place in the world where cloves grew. The earliest written version of Cinderella is from China. As the author indicates in the afterward, no one knows where the story originated. But she speculates that Cinderella may have traveled West with the spices.

Damura was a child when her mother taught her to light a fire, cook, and to tend and harvest rice. But she still loved dolls when her mother died. The lorikeet and little green parrot outside in the nutmeg tree were not company enough for her. With a new doll, a neighboring widow bribed Damura into convincing her father to marry her. Her stepmother's two daughters were kind at first, but soon made Damura their servant. She cried at night that she had traded her happiness for a doll.

One day as she washed the family's clothes, she lost her sarong in the river. She called to the creatures of the wild for help, and a crocodile appeared. "Good morning Grandmother," she said to the crocodile.

The crocodile gave Damura her baby to care for, and returned with a silver sarong that sparkled like the night sky. She told Damura to take it and come to the river again if she ever needed anything.

Her stepsisters were naturally jealous of the sarong. But when they tried to entice the crocodile to help them, she saw through their façade. A year later, the village buzzed with excitement as the prince planned to hold a dance to choose his bride. Damura asked her stepmother if she might go, wearing her silver sarong. Of course her stepmother refused her.

The rest of this tale is very similar to that of Cinderella. But to find the unique ways in which it sparkles, you'll have to read this book. Alyssa A. Lappen

A fresh new spin on the cinderella stry
I Have never read such an interesting version of the cinderella story, i recomend that every one with children or who know those who have them buy this book and save it. It will provide pleasure to generations to come

Excellent Book
This book should be required reading for all people of all ages. It covers everything from basic manners to goal setting and methods to achieve any goal. I read this in Jr. High and wish I'd had this book read to me in the cradle. It is applicable to any situation. Buy this book for your child - for yourself! Learn it, know it, live it!

Excellent for teens
I read this book when I was a teen and it had an enormous effect on my concept of what is possible in life. A great graduation present for kids 12 - 18. Although I re-read it when I was older and got benefit then too. I am now 28 and still consider this to be one of the most influential books that changed my attitude when I was growing up

Illustrations are heartwarming
This book is a real find. The illustrations are so boyish yet sweet. The print, at 4 lines and rhyming, will keep their attention. With 3 boys, we can relate to it and will enjoy it for years to come. Geared to younger boys, probably younger than 8. Scripture used is very easy to understand. Covers qualities such as obedience, cheerfulness, being kind, brave and diligent, thankful and responsible, among others.

Very nice!
This is such a nice little book. It is a good book to read when studying character traits with little boys and discussing what kind of boy God wants them to be. The illustrations are beautiful. My children really like this book!

Sophisticated and realistic approach to gardening
This is an extraordinary book. Though aimed at those who are re-assessing and re-vitalizing older gardens, is an excellent book for novice gardeners. It would help people avoid the pitfalls of creating gardens out of only plants they adore rather than using their instincts and intelligence in creating dynamic, highly personal gardens. Ms. Thorpes' writing style is very engaging and she addresses ecological issues in a thought-provoking way. This is simply a superb book, and is far superior to many glossy picture gardening books which "gloss" over the surface of critical processes required to make healthy gardens. Gardening requires work, thoughtfulness and knowledge, as Ms. Thorpe knows. I would give this book and "Dirt" by Dianne Benson to every gardener I know.

The gods have answered my garden prayers with this book!
Oh what a fabulous book! Since I began reading this book two days ago my relationship to my inherited garden has changed from subserviant care-taker to self-empowered garden visionary. It contains such helpful information on issues of landscaping - the basic rules for movement through the garden, perspective and proportion - debunks some garden myths - perrenials are not forever - and gave me the permission I've been waiting for to rip my columnular junipers out with a light heart and easy mind. I am making plans to annialate and create all over the place! Yippeeee! The best part is I am still only halfway through the book. My day and night dreams are filled with new designs for my garden and my life as a gardener has had a wonderful refreshing boost. I am going to use this book as a landscaping reference, study guide and source of inspiration whenever the gardening blues set in. Thanks Patricia!

The Hades Moon
The Hades Moon is a "must read" book for anybody with Moon-Pluto aspects in their chart. You will never think of this aspect in the same way again. With its fascinating case studies ( the Kennedy family, John Lennon, the Bronte family and more) it is a compelling read.It is a very profound book that delves into the depths of the plutonian experience, revealing not only the darkness and pain of Moon -Pluto but all its phenomenal pontential. I loved it and it changed me deeply.

Fabulous Book!
This book is incredibly well written and well researched. It deals with those of us who have the planet Pluto in aspect to our moons. As a person who has Pluto opposing my moon, Pluto ascending and venus in scorpio, this book helped me understand that I am sane, after all! You will have a rich reading experience if you have intermediate astrological knowledge, but even a beginner will really enjoy the explainations in this book. Ms. Hall is an easy to read, poetic writer. I highly recommend this for your Astro-bookshelf.
