I found this text to be very useful to me and prefer it among other steel texts. Concentration on bridges makes this book even more valuable. The text in, many sections, deals with some more advanced theories about steel which you may not find in many texts.

THE FIRST TIME THAT I READ THIS BOOK I WAS IN THE SEVENTH GRADE. SINCE THAT TIME I HAVE READ IT EIGHT MORE TIMES. I HAVE NOW GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE AND TEACH HISTORY IN A HIGH SCHOOL. ALL OF EDWIN HOYT'S BOOKS ABOUT WWII ARE EXCELLENT. THIS BOOK IS AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF THE WRITING THAT WE HAVE COME TO EXPECT FROM THIS HISTORICAL WRITER. WHENEVER I GO INTO A USED BOOK STORE I LOOK FOR ANYTHING BY EDWIN HOYT.

This book is amazing. It covers a wide range of viruses. Most importantly it gives detailed technical informations on the diagnosis of viruses which usually cannot be found in most virology books. It is an indispendsable book for professionals working in the virology field. As a medical technologist in a virology lab. I have found this book extermely useful whenever I am in doubt at work.

With this book, Edwin Bliss has gotten to the heart of understanding and having victory over procrastination. I see it as a key factor in one taking control over his own life. The importance of this topic cannot be underestimated, for without focussed and consistent action towards one's goal and dreams, they will not come true. Moreover, Bliss has crafted an extremely practical set of tools- ones that anyone can immediately put to use and begin reaping benefits. Two practical books to read in conjuction with this one are David Schwartz's "The Magic of Thinking Big", and Anthony Robbin's "Awaken the Giant Within". Don't be put off by Robin's infomercial approach (you don't have to spend $100's on his programs to tap his brain). Robbins really has captured a great number of priceless nuggets. Jose Silva's work on mind control has also made some highly valuable contributions, particularly in his triad foundation of understanding and generating desire, belief and expectation, even without all his work at the subconcious level. I read most of the stories of King Arthur, and I tend to like Diana Paxson, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and Stephen Lawhead, so I admit I wasn't initially attracted to something new from a first-time writer. But after finishing this book, I must say it's an outstanding addition to fantasy fiction in general and Arthur literature specifically.

Mr. Wollert's prose is exciting, and he makes you want to keep turning the page (I even stayed up a little too late a couple of nights trying to finish!) Like the cover says, it's about the younger knights, since when the story begins, Arthur's already been king of Britain for quite a few years. Wollert focuses on Perceval and Galahad and their relationship, and of course, on their search for the Holy Grail itself. Yet for you Arthur buffs out there, all the old characters are here. And the idea of making Galahad a woman was totally original! I loved it!

I've heard rumors of this guy Wollert working on something new, and I'm looking forward to it. ...Morgan Godwin

Has a real knack for conveying complex economic concepts quickly and systematically with little effort. E.g., only a few minutes after reading the Keynesian perspective on fiscal policy I was able to graph and explain how equilibrium changes are affected by government spending. Not having an economics background I find this book remarkable!

This is a great book. I would recommend you also purchase the study guide. It has a complete reference at the end of each chapter that lists related books and articles. To get the most out of it, I would suggest you pick up a book on finite mathmatics so you can work the problem sets at the end of each chapter. I believe this book was co-authored by a professor at the Whorton school, which is the best in the Ivy League.

It is a complete book on the subject. Chapters are well organised and basic principles are so licidly explained that any astute reader will be immense beneficial out of this book. The examples choosen are not only cute in a sense of its presentation but also make a most difficult thing understable so easily. It is not a book of the Intermediates rather experts could also refresh their knowledge before Championship. Quizes not only explain one particular point but also brought to the surface many other co-related issues. It is a must in every bridge players desk.
