I am not a law student, but I want to feel secure in the legal aspects of my activities as a real estate investor. This book provides exactly that. It is easy to understand and very well organized. It may be missing a few examples for some complex points, but in general is a great book for anybody who want to really know the ins and outs of real estate law.

Peter John Raposa takes us on a adventure on how it feels to sudddenly be out of control of ones body. His anxiety consumes his every thought and daily activities when he first experiences a heart arrythmia (benign skipped beats). I found this book by accident, looking for advice on how to cope with the same condition. PJR conveys his feelings, fears and eventually his acceptance and coping techniques through easy to read pages. Highly recommend this book. Also references other books and nutrition.

Baughman's book is a joy to read because of his skillful writing. This is an ideal eaxample of how to write a book of this sort. Every point he makes is worth making and is increadibly clear. He never repeats his points and covers a great deal of territory. I definitely recommend this book to any student of American history, media studies or consumer culture.

Entender los fundamentos científicos del tema puede ahorrar muchos miles de dólares a muchos empresarios que aún piensan lo contrario. Por lo que recomiendo su lectura para los técnicos e ingenieros que operan estas plantas industriales.

King James, sponsor of the famous Authorized "King James" Bible, is often lauded as defender of the faith by some who worship his 1611 publication as the be-all and end-all of all English Bible translations. Many hagiographic works abound, but Bergeron's isn't one of those.

While writing his Basilicon Doron to attack the sin of sodomy, James himself used his royal position to shield himself from such a charge against himself. Bergeron digs up the historical dirt and shares a contemporary's view of the hypocrisy, a diary entry in 1622 by one Simonds D'Ewes of a conversation he'd had with a friend:
"Of things I discoursed with him that weere secrett as of the sinne of sodomye, how frequente it was in this wicked cittye, and if God did not provide some wonderfull blessing against it, wee could not but expect some horrible punishment for it; especially it being as wee had probable cause to feare, a sinne in the prince as well as the people, which God is for the most part the chastiser of himselfe, because noe man else indeed dare reprove or tell him them of ther faults." (Bergeron, p. 183)

Many more pieces of evidence are to be found in those pages, and what emerges from Bergeron's picture is that of a great man who was both King of England and Scotland and quite human.

The authors did an excellent job of taking a topic so broad, such as school finance and education policy, and presenting it in a concise format. Professors using this text book have the freedom to delve deeply into specific chapter topics as needed, while also having the opportunity to cover the broader spectrum of school fincance and education policy as permitted by the course calendar. An update of the book would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased several copies of your book. Mainly because I used to know you(Jody Jackman) I enjoyed it immensely and found myself laughing outloud most of the book. I have dealt with the loss of a loved one and raising children alone is no easy piece of cake.I related to you in so many ways and found your work most wonderful..Best of luck to you and I'm sorry but I certainly won't give up my copies of this book..

Hola! If you are a first-time learner in Spanish, Somos Asi 1 is the best book to buy! It starts with simple phrases and becomes more advanced throughout the book. This book teaches you numbers, polite phrases, a few verbs, and a great glossary of many Spanish terms in the back of the book. This textbook is wonderful for middle-school students. I'm in 7th grade and I can speak Spanish very well already because of Somos Asi 1. It's more interesting than any other Spanish textbooks because there are fun exercises and dialogues introducing you to new words. If you want to learn Spanish, click BUY and you will be a fluent Spanish speaker before you know it! Adios!

Mr. Hallas makes a convincing case that had it not been for the machinations of French Field Marshel Foch and other Allies, the U.S. First Army might have broken through to Metz in September 1918, shortening the war and saving the 120.000 American casualties in the Meuse-Argonne battle which followed. This clear combat narrative is enhanced by details of units and individual soldiers, of one of the finesr armies America ever fielded. Maps, photos, and Praeger Publications' usual excellent index.

This book is quite a collection from the old series, including The Arena and Trouble with Tribbles. Gotta have this as an addition to any Trekker library.
