Interesting
This book should be called Zoey needs to make up her mind. Or better yet, Problems with the Passmores. Zoey is being very annoying. At first, she doesn't like lucas pressuring her for sex. Then she gets upset when he doesn't pressure her for sex. Zoey get a grip. I don't even know where to begin with Benjamin, except for pathetic. I understand him being disappointed about the surgery; Hoever, he has no right to shut out Nina. Especially, since he took something from Nina that she will never get back. He is being self centering and shallow. I not even going to start on Aaron.

don't tell zoey

Another Winner
Applegate has done it again! Book 13 is just as good, if not better, than the other books in this series. Benjaman is in deep depression over the fact that his eye operation didn't work out, and Nina can't seem to cheer him up. An old family friend, Kate Levin, is coming to stay at Lucas' house until the situation with her dorm clears up. Zoey is definitely not liking the VERY pretty redhead. Claire is deleriously happy over her relationship with Aaron. Things are going great between them... and she has a surprise for him on Valentine's Day. However, things fall apart for more than just one couple on what should be a romantic evening. Watch out, because Don't Tell Zoey ends with a bang!

Get this book
I pastor a church, sit on a management committee for a ranching operation, coach soccer, raise four kids with my wife, and I felt buried underneath the load. Before this, I was president of a bank for nearly eight years. I never got organized. I had become completely unproductive and couldn't get out of the trap. Now, I have established goals and projects with deadlines and I'm meeting the deadlines!! The office is ORGANIZED for the first time in my life. I'm out of the trap!! Thanks Stephanie.

A must read for anyone who has no time, energy, or free time
This book is well written, easy to understand and right on target. I am a person who works with computers on a day to day basis, and it is exactly what i have been looking for. If you have no time, no energy, no clean area in your home, have a ton of things to do, and are about overwhelmed by everything that you need to do, and everything that you want to do. GET THIS BOOK!!!!!!! It will definately help. The hardest part is picking it up, after that you will be on your way.. :-)

A comprehensive, down-to-earth book for the disorganized!
A common sense down-to-earth, yet comprehensive approach to the headaches, heartbreaks and hassles of the "terminally disorganized."

Written in a very kind, understanding and humorous tone, this book diagnoses the problem, analyzes the consequences and pitfalls of disorder, and suggests marvelous ways to remedy the situation and get one's life back on track.

This book is truly joy to read and provides very useful creative ideas and techniques even if "constantly tidy, always punctual, and completely organized" are characteristics used to describe you! Culp's simple five-step approach could be put to use by anyone seeking a successful, more fulfilling life. The chronic "organizationally challenged" could totally turn their lives around!

Don't Laugh, Joe
When mother possum thinks it is time for Joe to learn how to play dead so if ever in a sitituation he can escape his enemy, there is one problem. Mother possum can't get Joe to stop laughing. She tells Joe over and over again that he needs to learn how to play dead, and that he can't laugh anymore. So she bribes Joe, but it doesn't seem to be working.
Mother possum tells Joe that she is only going to try one more time to teach him how to play dead. They go ouside, and all of the sudden something happens. I guess if you want to find out what happens you will have to read this great book full of laughs for yourself. I would recommend this book for children ages 3-8.

Outstanding picture book!
As a children's librarian, I always look for great picture books which work well with a group. This one has proven to be a real favorite. The kids absolutely love it! Highly recommended for ages 4-6.

A splendid picturebook tale for young readers!
Mother Possum is trying to teach Joe how to play dad. But no matter what Mother Possum does, Joe can't help laughing. When she pretends to be a hungry fox, Joe laughs so hard his stomach hurts. When she pretends to be nasty coyote, Joe laughs so hard that he screams for her to stop. When she shakes him like a scary wildcat, Joe laughs and wiggles onto the floor. Mother Possum is about to give up hope when out of the woods comes a grumpy old bear! Written and illustrated by Keiko Kasza, Don't Laugh, Joe! is a splendid picturebook tale for young readers.

A great read!
I always thought a person had to be out of his/her mind to wander outdoors in sub-zero temperatures, no matter what the attraction awaiting them! Doug Larsen makes a very strong case for the ones who do, and I admit that there might be a powerful reason for this activity. I still would rather spend my time indoors, but reading about his antics and his reflections made me laugh, cry and identify with many of his well-thought statements. Loved the book and hope it is not Doug's last!

Why You Shouldn't Shoot the Decoys
After reading this book, I realized all the joys of hunting. Doug is a fabulous author, and I can't wait for a sequel.
I love his vivid descriptions and sense of humor, but the serious stories are great too. My favorite chapters are Wet Cement and 147, but they are all superb. If you like to hunt, fish, or even hike, this is a fantastic book for you. So let Doug take you hunting, I promise it will be unforgettable!

An Authentic Voice of Duck Hunting
Even when he's being wry and funny, Doug Larsen is being himself, a straight shooter that tells us what he really thinks and feels about the sport of waterfowling. These stories are authentic and very engaging. I especially enjoyed the one called "Wet Cement," about Doug taking his dad duck hunting, and the one about Doug taking his young daughter hunting for the first time. Sometimes we get cynical and think that the young writers are dogs compared to the old lions of the past, but hey, this young dog can hunt! Buy this book and you'll see that good writing still has the power to entertain and inform us, even in this new and troubling century.

Great book!
This book is great for parents. It offers realistic advice! I am the author of The ABC's of College Life, which is a street-smart guide for teens. I consider this book the street-smart guide for the 'rents!

A great book for any parent with kids in college.
As a very protective parent I wanted to read all I could about my daughters up in coming experience at college. I myself never attend college and this book gave me so much insight. I appreciate the author's candid talk about difficult topics such as alcohol and drugs. I felt at ease after reading it. I recommend this book to everyone I know with kids heading off to college. I also purchased and read Major In Success by Patrick Combs and it was the perfect book for my daughter. Don't Tell Me What To Do Just Send Money was a great book for me and Major In Success was perfect for my daughter. It gave her all the advice she needed to make the most of her college experience.

A Great Find!
After reading 4 to 5 various books similar to this topic I wished that I would have read this one first. It covers it all! A very thorough book full of insights into parenting during this questionable time of your childs life. I love the "What to Do" and "What Not to Do" sections and also the "What You Are Thinking" and "What Your Child is Thinking". My daughter is now a freshman at UF and this book was very affirming as I reflected back and found out that YES....this is NORMAL! This would of been the only book I bought and spent my time reading IF only I would have found it sooner. It will truly serve as a reference and I will keep it close at hand so I can flip through the index to find the current "crisis" explained and get insights as to how to handle. I plan on purchasing this book for graduation gifts for the parents of those children graduating from High School. It is a MUST read!

A Great Read
This is by far one of the best biographies of a contemporary poet I've ever read. Gilmore gives us Oppenheimer the drinker, chain-smoker, cuckold, cocksman, lover, friend, good-guy, wise-man, and master of the directly stated, simply worded, poem. Oppenheimer comes across as a person who was--somehow--more than the sum of his parts. That "somehow" was his gift for living close to the bone, surviving break-ups and bouts with the bottle, and ultimately writing well. No hagiography (as so many paeons to the Beats turn out to be), Don't Touch the Poet allows us to hear from enemies and not-so-impressed-ex-wives as well as life-long friends. The end result is similar to Boswell's portrait of Dr. Johnson holding forth in his dressing gown: at one and the same time a bit off-putting, yet somewhat charming, wholly fascinating, and, one feels, totally true to life.

A pleasure to know him
I really enjoyed this book. As a 1987 graduate of New England College, I had Joel as a teacher and an advisor, and most importantly as a friend. (and a fellow Mets fan!)
Joel helped me to transform from a disjointed, disorganized and immature college freshman to a more focused and interested writer.
The book shed light on his life and reminded me of a few stories he told me in my four years of knowing him.
I can vividly remember sitting in his smoke filled office arguing over my lack of attention to my studies...:)
What a great guy, I sure wish he was still here with us.

"every spring he saw we see still"
As good a biography as we are likely to get of Joel Oppenheimer and perhaps the only one. Joel's earlier years are especially well researched and told. The absence of Amiri Baraka's voice is a pity.

The book would have benefited with more input from Pete Hamill, Sam Abrams and a few others. Also, a few of Joel's more notable students are silent: Tom Weatherly; and Bob Rixon, who has been telling lovely anecdotes about Joel for years over WFMU in New York.

Which is maybe a complaint that the book is too short at 246 pages. But Gilmore writes with devotion and leaves us with the belief that "every spring he saw we see still"

Fine work.

Not everything made out to be, but definately worth a read.
This man is a salesman, which means first he sells himself, which he does quite succesfully in this book, a bit to the detrimentof the book. It makes it appear that anyone can go to people with a pretty good product and have it sell. It may sell, but a years worth of 60 hour work weeks isn't worth $10,000.

Found his little tricks like counting competitive products on the shelves, and other stuff, very useful. Resources are OK but have a larger variety as compared to other invention books. Throughout the book he stress low cost and investors, which to me seem contradictory, although his information on both is good. Not much of what makes a good product and clear steps to bring items to market.

For those I recomend Marketing Your Invention by Mosley and Winning At New PRoducts by Robert Cooper.

Overall this book is worth buying and reading.

Booyah!
The Debelak's rock my face off! GTO says: This book is amazing - such good stuff happens!! Marketing banzai!!

probably the best book on new product development
This is probably the best book on new product development... for the entrepreneur (those with a great idea, and somewhat limited budget). I ordered this book from Amazon after I read another of his books, Infilitration Marketing). I thought the previous book was A+, and I give that score to this book as well. I have also ordered his Marketing Plan book, but haven't read it yet.

I put this book up their with those of Barry Feig (Straight to the Heart, The New Products Workshop). But this book, Bringing Your Product To Market, is the best overall book for product development - more encompassing. It has lots of marketing material, but also lots of new product development ideas, how (and if, when) to license, how to manufacture (mostly contract manufacture). His book is the best over all book... and thus would be that one book to buy that includes it all.

Unlike other books on new product marketing, he doesn't go endlessly on about how to patent your product, how to hire a lawyer, and other side issues. This is much more practical: it presents a phased plan of new product development, market research, market testing, etc. Contract manufacturing, patents and licensing (excellently done) is then discussed in terms of this phased approach.

The purpose of this book is to get you away from developing a monument to yourself and to control urging of your ego to not listen to what the market is trying to say. His checklist and phased approach almost forces you to spend less on the front end than you normally would, and to constantly check the market's reactions. In this regard, the book is EXCELLENT PLUS. I have not seen any other book that is so practical, yet filled with marketing insight. I would say that if you followed his advice, you would triple your odds of success.

Every page oozes with practical experience (he consults with new product developers). He gives ratios and rules of thumbs for many subjects... again, based on his experience. He also provides lots of examples that illustrate his points. I would recommend that you order any of this guy's stuff. His marketing book was great, and I look forward to reading his marketing plan book.

I would also recommend your reading Feig's book, which goes into more detail in the market research and product idea development phase.

Oh, one last thing, I underlined about 60 % of just about every page in this book. I've filed it under the Dewey Decimal System of "A+".

I'm glad I got this.
I had every issue ... of GI Joe but had to sell my collection to make ends meet. Now however I'll be able to enjoy the art, stories and memories I once had with these new paperbacks.Amazon has good shipping time and great prices for these books so get them here. I hope they end up reprinting all ...issues and [the] Special Missions.

He'll Fight For Freedom Wherever There's Trouble!!!!
This is Volume 1 of what i hope to be the entire Gi Joe Marvel Comic Book series reprinted in mind blowing digital color. Volume 1 covers Gi Joe issues 1-10, and I have already gotten Volume 2. for some reason amazon is not showing you the true cover art of the books which is just beautiful!!!! This takes me back to 1982, where Reagan was president, and the Russinas were still the scariest people on the planet and Eddie Murphy was still funny. This volume captures the sweet simplicity of mainstream comic books. All the heroes are good, and the villians are bad. No shades of grey in these here comic books!! Buy this volume. Savor the simplicity of a summer spent reading Gi Joe when it was first run. Don't think of it as marketing a new line of toys, cuz I'd like to think that that was not what the comic was about. it was just good ole fashioned Good VS Evil, and the fate of the world lay in the hands of the men and woman of the GI Joe Team.
YO JOE!!!

Perfect.
I got both volumes one and two. I read these cover to cover to relive the great adventures, rather then getting my original issues out of storage and risk damaging them. I hope Marvel reprints all 155 issues like this. I'll buy every one. Trust me, even though the comics are for a toy line, the stories are really adult and are quite entertaining.

I read both volumes while at work and ended up spending 6 hours lost in the pages.(It was a slow day!)
