There's wisdom here!
I'm only 30 pages along at the moment, but I had to write to say how excited I am by this book. It's a precise tool with which to discern the difference between the wisdom of your soul and the illusions of your mind--and it's well and clearly written. If you liked Gary Zukav's The Seat of the Soul, you will probably find much of interest to you here. The author quotes Zukav extensively. Even though I still have quite a way to go before I finish it, I'm already grateful I happened upon this terrific book. Thank you, Miriam.

This pleasurable book fills a need by representing the Cynics in one affordable volume. The essays are diverse in the topics and time periods addressed, from Greece to Goethe and beyond. View the table of contents to preview the extravaganza. On the whole, the essays are clear and compelling reading for all interested in how different people have received some ideas of the Cynics. Be sure to note the academic fireworks in the footnotes for the most polite disagreements among contributors.

Provides a concise summary of all the important elements of the dBASE III PLUS command language. Lets you check the exact syntax of a command, and confirm the options available. No need to do a time-consuming search thru lengthy manuals. Useful for beginners and even the most competent dBASE III PLUS aficionado. It was very helpful to me when I didn't have the time to look up in manuals the specific commands, codes, function symbols, template symbols, attribute codes, etc. Compact size of 4 1/4 X 6 7/8" made it easy to tuck into a pocket, purse, etc.

A delightful book
This is an entertaining and interesting story which, according to the authors, is true. Little kids with dogs will enjoy this book.

Outstanding book
Ms. Fields-Babineau has clearly outlined the use of a head halter as a training tool for use with dogs of any temperament, size, and breed.
