Using the Pathwork to Change Your Life
This CD is invaluable to anyone who is on a spiritual path. It contains the complete Pathwork lectures, a series of 258 channeled lectures delivered over a period of 22 years. The lectures can be viewed with either Adobe Acrobat Reader or a word processor. Better yet, the CD includes a search capability.

When I get "stuck" and have difficulty dealing with what is going on in my life, I can search the CD for a word or phrase and find material that will help.

The Pathwork material is life-changing and life-enhancing. It brings a deeper connection with all aspects of the self, and it is a blueprint for changing our negative patterns and becoming more happy and blissful. The work is not necessarily easy. It requires that we face the worst in us, see it clearly, and choose to change it. But if we do the work, the Pathwork Guide tells us, special spiritual help and protection is available.

I certainly have found this to be true in my life. This material helped me map out a healing strategy through ovarian cancer that saw me go from "probably terminal" to cancer-free. It has helped me deal with the after effects of growing up in a dysfunctional family. It has taught me how to love myself despite my worst faults and, as a result, how to really love others. It has taught me that I am truly safe and do not need my defenses any longer.

The Pathwork has transformed my life. I am happier and more content than at any other time in my life, and that is true even when life is a struggle. This material is a priceless gift to the world.

Freud & ferenczi during WWI:the tumultuous but creative days
In this volume of the correspondence, we witness how the two pioneers of psychoanalysis toured their way through the war years. In their intimate and mutually sustaining letters, we saw how Freud shared his utmost worry about the plight of his sons enlisted, as Ferenczi apparently became his surrogate son. We also read Ferenczi's self-torture in imprisoning himself between the two women: Gizella and Elma [who were mother and daughter] and Freud's fatherly role in this episode. These were also the days when Ferenczi had his long-desired but truncated analyses with Freud; and also the time of Ferenczi gradually hatching from his dependency on Freud, paving the way for the bitter conflict in the years to come [recorded in Volume 3 of this series]. As Freud shared his budding ideas with Ferenczi who provided honest and insightful feedback, we come to believe that psychoanalysis is the creation of not just Freud, but Freud and Ferenczi. This volume is a must for all those who are interested in the early history of psychoanalysis, the dissolution of certain long-held myth [as created by Ernest Jones' official biography] as well as the inner worlds of the two great men behind.

Tells of 7 Catholic women who saved many Jews.
The authors wrote of 7 women, out of many they could have chosen. An astonishing chronicle of courage in the face of Nazi terror. While many of the powerful and famous failed to help, these humble women - some vowed religious, some lay - faced death and torture and fearlessly rescued some hundreds of innocent people, including many children. A moving, wonderful book.

Curl Talk: Making glorious mohair wigs for your dolls

While this book had nothing to do with cURL..
I found it absolutely riviting. Mohair is my favorite hair of all, why just the other day I was telling my colleagues how "I wish I had mo' mohair". I don't have to tell you that got quite a laugh! Until reading this book however, I had no idea it could be used to make glorious doll wigs. This made me start to think of all of the other things you could do with mohair, such as: clog a sink, ... or making bread.

The Diary of Eva Heyman

the saddest book I think I have ever read
The autobiography of a very precocious Hungarian martyr. I was shattered. A beautiful life snuffed out by Nazi fiends. It is almost unbearable to read, but very necessary. Extremely moving.

The Anne Frank Of Hungary
Eva Heyman was like Anne in many ways: A budding teenager, spirited and observant of the world around her. Anne and Eva both began diaries when they were thirteen. Tragically, both did not survive the war. Like Anne, only one of Eva's parents survived the Holocaust, her mother Agnes, but out of guilt for not attempting to save her daughter's life she committed suicide in 1949. Read this book.

Grammar and literature
Grammar is always a difficult and arid subject when somebody is not a lover of grammar. And they are really few. This book is a beatiful solution to teach spanish as a foreingn language or simply as a self-study book. Allende is always fresh in her writing. As a chilean woman and a citizen of the world she knows how to translate her feelings, thoughts and her own experience into words. In addition to her beautiful style is another important matter. The fact that the readers of this book are going to learn a rich spanish that blows between the Pacific Ocean and the Mountains. A spanish that have american motivations, which are, by the way, very well undestood by Isabel Allende. "Un cuento de Isabel Allende es un cuento con olor a fruta". "A story from Isabel Allende is a story that smell like fruits". The evil and the angels of the chilean culture. She knows them well. People who want to learn a good spanish do it because they want to read our writers. Neruda, Mistral, Allende, they live already in the hearts of books lovers. So, we should not separate spanish grammar from spanish literature.
