The Title Says It All
The title of this book truly says it all. These dogs are unforgettable. The best thing about this book is the memories it brought back to me of my childhood friend and mutt, Pokey. Since adulthood, I have always owned fullbred dogs, one rescued from a shelter, but still not the adorable mutt. After reading this book, I think of all of the love and devotion Pokey gave my family, and I am proud to say that she was a mutt. For those who own mutts, read the book and celebrate their uniqueness. For those who own pedigrees, read it anyway. It is full with stories of the love and joy only a dog can give. My only criticism is that it is too short. I could have read 100 more stories.

Unforgettable Mutts
This book is pure joy. For those of us who have loved our dogs, the stories tug at your heart strings. Karen Derrico captures each dog's story with a peek into other dog owner's heart and how much they loved their special friend. Thank you for writing a book that has been so long in coming, and so beautifully written. This one is a must for dog lovers, pet lovers, and anyone who has ever had that special bond with their pet.

An absolutely "Unforgettable" book! A must for dog lovers
Truly one of the best dog books I've seen in a long time! The photos are amazing, but combined with the inspiring, heartwarming, and incredible true stories, this book is definitely a winner. I wouldn't be surprised to see Unforgettable Mutts on the NY Times Bestsellers very soon! If you have even just a mild affinity for dogs, I guarantee you'll love this book!!

...a wealth of information...
Electronic Publishing: The Definitive Guide is a wealth of information for authors who are hesitant to venture into electronic publishing. Wiesner begins with a definition of electronic publishing and then focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of epublishers, pointing out the differences between subsidy and royalty-paying epublishers. Various myths about electronic publishing are explained in addition to the benefits of the epublishing industry versus traditional print publishing. An outstanding chapter on the various epublishers and interviews conducted with them saves a new author days of searching the Internet for epublishers to submit manuscripts to.

A potpourri of additional resources for ebook promotion includes examples of a press release and press kit for a newly published ebook. Contributions from epublished authors varied from ingenious tips on how to create a promotional bookmark, excerpt pamphlets, or magnets to creatively designed recipe cards and even wrapped chocolates were used to promote their ebooks.

Overall, Electronic Publishing: The Definite Guide lives up to my expectations and I highly recommend it to all ebook authors, whether they have been epublished yet or not. Wiesner's research and efforts in producing this ebook definitely shows and the quality shines throughout. ~ Eva Almeida, http://www.ebooksnbytes.com/

...a mountain of useful information here...
Before the days of e-publishing, hungry and hopeful writers would scramble to the library for the reference copy of a book called ==Writer's Market==, which is a a comprehensive listing of literary agents and publishers. Karen Wiesner's guide is the equivalent of Writer's Market for the world of e-books. The difference is that in print-book publishing you pray that somebody will take you; in e-book publishing you pick the publisher you want. Wiesner's book lists more than one hundred non-subsidy e-publishers. Each publisher has been given the chance to tell about his practices on Wiesner's detailed questionnaire. The publishers listed here are "non-subsidy" publishers, meaning that authors do not pay them to be published. The book contains well-written articles by Jamie Engle and Mary Z. Wolf, and other supplementary features including practical ideas for promoting your e-book after publication... there is a mountain of useful information here, especially for

new writers, and Ms. Wiesner's enthusiasm for electronic books is healthfully contagious." Michael Pastore for Booklovers Review

A wealth of information!
"It was really just a matter of time before someone came out with a title addressing this and it is only fitting that it should be written by Karen Wiesner who has been a true pioneer in the elctronic publishing field. Author of the highly praised GYPSY ROAD SERIES, ELECTRONIC PUBLISHING is admittedly a broad deviation from Wiesner's usual romantic works. However, it's one that I am very happy she took the time for.

"Her book addresses every conceivable question that anyone considering electronic publishing could think of - and then some. Both the known advantages as well as the disadvantages are zeroed in on. This is an honest peek at epublishing - still a virgin venture for us all. Chapter Five sensibly looks at the technology needed to take epublishing into the future. There is a terrific chapter addressing the "13 Myths" of epublishing which gives a real boost to the 'credibility' of the business. Wiesner has wisely included interviews with publishers which are extremely helpful if you are thinking of venturing into the field. It gives you the opportunity to hear from the publishers themselves what they expect in the way of submissions, their royalty structure and what they foresee as the future in this infant business. The last chapter focuses on quotes from successfully epublished authors. All of whom have tested the electronic waters first.

"ELECTRONIC PUBLISHING: The Definitive Guide is a wealth of information. One that Karen Wiesner plans to update on a regular basis. As Wiesner writes in her conclusion of ELECTRONIC PUBLISHING, "There are no limits."

Fantastic allegory!
I was first introduced to this book as a camper at a camp in North Carolina; I have since returned as a counselor there and have read it to my campers (who loved it as well)! As a children's book it is fantastic because although each chapter presents a different story with its own plot, each also weaves together with the other chapters to produce a larger plot based on the same settings and characters. This makes for great suspense for the kids from one reading to another! In addition, it is a great tool for conveying the biblical lessons pertaining to a Christian's daily walk. The stories are allegories. The format can even be seen as allegorical in the sense that, while each believer has a personal walk with Christ and daily experiences therein, each is also a part of the whole of Christ's body, the church...with the overall picture of a Savior dying to redeem sinners and one day returning to establish His eternal Kingdom. This book is fantastic!! I recommend it to all --whether child or adult!-- who would seek a tremendously written children's book which will encourage, challenge, and teach one in the ways of the King! (I, too, believe that the old edition illustrated by Jack Stockman needs to be revived!!)

Absolutely Wonderful Book!
This book (and Tales of the Resistance) were both given to me when I was very young. I was given the tapes as well (if you get a chance to listen to them, do! ). These books are absolutely wonderful! I learned so much from them! I've been looking for them for ages, and they NEED TO BE REPRINTED WITH THE ORIGINAL ILLUSTRATOR! Read these books, they are well worth your while!

My favorite book in the whole world.
When I was about 11, my aunt gave me the original, hardback versions of both "Tales of the Kingdom" and "Tales of the Resistance." I didn't really discover them until I few years ago, however, and they have since become my favorite books.I've read them a thousand times...the imagination of David Mains is amazing, and as a Christian, the allegory of the book is wonderful. They've been so encouraging to me; as you read the books, you see yourself in Hero, and you fall in love with the King, only to realize that we DO have such a king, in Jesus Christ! I love these books...and I just found out that there's a third book, "Tales of the Restoration"! I can't wait to get it. You MUST read all these books...you'll love them!

A beautiful book for young readers.
This is a beautifully written story of a young girl and her mother waiting for rain. It's magical and lyrical and a must read! The illustrations match the text brilliantly and are stunning in their own right. Karen Hesse is not only a wonderful writer of novels for middle-grade readers, she shines as a picture book author as well. Bravo!!

"Come On, Rain!" A Truly Beautiful Book!
I found the book "Come On, Rain!" at our local library and immediately picked it up. The first thing you will notice about this beautiful book are the gorgeous ilustrations! The pictures in this book are lovely and the prose is so happy and full of the anticipation everyone feels on a hot summer day while waiting for a cooling rain. You and you children will love this book!

Beautiful
The art work which accompanies this magnificently written, poetic tale is just as remarkable as the carefully chosen delightful words. If you live in the desert, as we do,this is a must-have-book. Over the stifling summer months I read the book time and again with my two year old daughter as we eagerly awaited the arrival of the monsoon rains and each time the simple joy of summer rain leapt out at us from both the pictures and the words. I'm not a writer, so it would take me an eternity to express how very special this book is. Simply put, you will have missed something very special if you never allow yourself the pleaure of soaking up the atmosphere created by this small masterpiece. Invest in a real treasure. If I could give it 10 out of 5 I would. BUY IT.

Ohh, this one was good!
I loved this book. All but one person gave this book 5 stars and I do too! It was great and Sammy's always been my favorite (kinda with Ashleigh, too) and she's finally getting married to Tor! Did anyone else think that "Oh, Sammy. Kiss me." Was a little lame? Sorry, that's just my opinion. I could write forever, but I just got "The Horse Of Her Dreams" and I want to get reading!

Wonderful
i really think that this book deserved 5 stars and anyone who hasn't read it should buy it. All the supers are great but this and ashleigh's Christmas Miracle are the best. i agree with who ever said that "Kiss me Samantha" is lame. it still was a great book and it revealed Samantha's past really good. Buy it or read it soon and you will beleive me when i say it is super.

it was great
This book was one of Bentley's better books. It tells about Samantha's past life, before and after her mother was killed. In this book,Cindy has a frightening fall, just like sam's mother. can sammy find happyness again? I thought it was a great book.

A have-to-read!
This is an excellent book. If you are a Karen Kingsbury fan, you have to read this book! She will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you feel like you are part of the story. I couldn't put this book down; I had to finish it. Somehow, every one of her books seem better than the last!

Heartfelt Novel
I have read many of Kingsbury's novels and this one has to be my favorite! Kingsbury writes about these characters as if she were talking about people she actually knows. She has an incredible talent for bringing the characters alive. I truly felt like I knew this family and their trials and tribulations, personally. I finished this book in three days having had a hard time putting it down. I reccomend this book for anyone that has ever been in a family, knows a family or is married with a family. Great reading, please send your fans more, soon!

Positively Uplifting!
This was my first Kingsbury novel. I can't even express to you how good this story was. The characters were so well written, I felt like I was actually in their lives hearing and seeing everything in the story. John and Abbey Reynolds fell in love. They got married. They had kids. They lost each other somewhere in the middle of all the growing years. John had his thoughts and reasons, and Abbey had hers. This story shows the power of God and how He does work miracles. This may seem like a tragic story of divorce, but it is also a wonderful story about John and Abbey, and their love for each other. I could not put this novel down. The ending was so incredible, they.......can't tell you, read for yourself. I know alot of people that have gone threw the same pains as John and Abbey. This hits home for alot of couples. The strength you will feel not only from John and Abbey, their kids and family but the strength from God. You must read this. This is also good for anyone who is having marriage problems. This is very inspiring and will make you think. Kudo's to Karen Kingsbury. Make sure you have your box of tissue's ready, you will need it.

The Book We've Been Waiting For!
It took me five minutes of looking through "Clicking with Your Dog" to realize it's the book we've been dreaming of for our clients. Moments later we'd already ordered 100 copies.

This book gets the average American started on the right foot with clicker training. It doesn't bog down the people who "just want to know how to do it" yet directs those of us who can't get enough to further information. It provides excellent guidance to children who are beginning to train and communicate with their dogs. I can only hope 4-H training groups will make it their manual.

The majority of owners who come to see us for assistance with their pet's behavior problems leave with a clicker in their hand. Now they'll be leaving with a clicker in one hand and "Clicking with Your Dog" in the other hand.

Read this book
I read the book called A Time Of Angels by Karen Hesse. This is a historical fiction book.
This book is about this girl named Hannah that gets separated from her parents and has to move to her Aunts house in West Boston. After she got there she started working in a store to help her Aunt with food & clothes.
Weeks later she got the flu and got real sick. The flu had killed ten thousand people so far. After she gets her energy back. Tanta Rose and her went to try to get her family together. After month of hard work she got her family together.
I didn't like this book because it was boring. It barley had any action. If you are boring and like boring things you should you should read this book.

A view from a future teacher
I truly enjoyed this book by Karen Hesse. As a future teacher I will add this to my list of historical fiction in teaching social studies and language arts. I had no idea so many people died of the flu in 1918 - nearl two and one half times the number that died during WWI! Karen Hesse does an excellent job of placing ourselves into the life of a young Jewish girl named Hannah. She and her two sisters must live with her two aunts in a crowded Boston apartment because their father is fighting in the war, and their mother is trapped in Russia. She must eventually leave Boston alone because the flu is ravishing the city and her loved ones. She gets lost and is also stricken with the deadly flu. She is nursed back to health by a German farmer and a beautiful friendship develops. She eventually returns to Boston with the help of an angel to find the fate of her family. This is a must read book!

GrEat bOok
I got this book at a school event where we could choose one book (for free) to take home. I chose this one because I thought it sounded interesting, and although that was over a year ago I still read it. The author has a beautiful way of writing the story so that you can imagine what you would feel like in Hannah's shoes.

A heartwrenching, true "cinderella/my fair lady" romance!
If you've seen and loved My Fair Lady and Gigi, you'll love this book. I read it twice (from the library) and cried each time, returned it, forgot the title/author and now have been searching for months to find it again- This is my lucky day! You feel so close to the characters and journey with them as Sebastian learns to "live" and love, to step out of the cold, emotionless lord and overcome social class barriers. And there's a tender twist where we learn just why Sebastian can't believe in love, that anyone would love him for himself and not for his social standing and wealth (hint: has to do with his parents, specifically his mother). Then with Jewel/Julia, you feel with her the frustration of loving, what you will do or compromise for love, and its heartbreaking price. Above all, the final message is that you don't know how precious that one special love is until you lose that person forever.

Passionate Love Story
This is a beautiful novel. It is about a street waif named Jewel, who gets mixed up into some kind of scheme concocted by a rich dying man to make trouble for his wealthy family. She meets Sebastian, the wealthy relative, and he decides to turn her into a lady to spite his evil mother. Over the course of their relationship, in which Sebastian trys to turn Julia (her new name) into a lady (reminisant of My Fair Lady), he falls in love with the stunning beauty she becomes. There are many entertaining plots that occur throughout, just as there are heartwrenching ones. I throughly enjoyed this book. The characters and plots are extremely well written, Ms. Robards has outdone herself with this one. If you love passionate love stories that will make you laugh and cry, then this one is for you!

You wont put this book down!
I haven't read too many books that actually made me cry or laugh out loud like this one did. Its sweet and passionate and everything you want to read in a romance. The book had all the right twists and turns to keep you interested and fall in love with the characters. A must read!
