I have tried to use this manual in working on my motorcycle. Some portions of it are OK, some are terrible. Certain key items are completely left out, it would appear that the authors assume the owner has the original owner's manual. This service manual does not contain essential items such as, oil quantities, spark plug information, etc..

This book is from England, and although it's easy enough to read, there are no pictures or facts pertaining to American engines. Also, not enough or correct information is given concerning porting.

This book has absolutely nothing to offer, nor does the included CD. One might expect that a companion CD could provide helpful guidance and teach a beginning drummer what to listen for when tuning a drum - it doesn't. If you already know what a snare drum, bass drum and tom sound like, don't even bother to unwrap the CD! If I could have rated this book with no stars, I would have! Please don't waste your money.

This book was a great dissapointment. I feel ripped off, because buying such a book with CD led me expect much more indepth information and tricks from professionals than this book contains. Half of the book describes the build of a drum - everyone looking at a drum for 5 minutes learns this by himself. Then, for every drum a whole page is wasted to describe how to put the head on the shell - why? the process is similar on every drum. Exactly the same happens with the description of streching the head. No info at all is given what influences the torsion of the snare wires have on the overall sound. No mention of tuning the two heads of a drum in relation to each other. In summary, this book has no value to a drummer with an experience of 3 months or more. There are much better ressources.

This book covers the basic tuning principles for the beginning drummer. This book is reccomended for the begginer only, who has not tuned a drumset before. The included CD isn't much help.

Chiltons usually writes a good manual, for American cars anyway. When it comes to Italian cars they don't know what is going on. This book is a real disappointment. There is no useful info on the 124 or 2000 Spiders, except for tune up guides. If you want a real repair manual check out International Auto Parts. They have helped me a great deal in restoring my '79 - 2000.

At first the books starts falling apart when looked in for the first time. The glue does not hold the pages together. Second, the quality of the "tips" Mr. Hammill provides us with is below average. The information provide[d to] the potential buyer is unadequate, when compared with the contents of the book. Example: there is no real tune-up info regarding some essential items like tuning carburettors and exhaust pipes.

Advice: a waist of money and time. A definite NO-GO!

This is not a book, it's a pamphlet, and uses every high school student's tricks of word wandering to to fill up empty pages. The title has virtually nothing to do with the contents. 99% of the lists and illustrations are in your possession if you own a T/C and have the booklet that comes with it, or can be retrieved at no cost by requesting a shooters manual from T/C, or visiting the T/C web site.
