I have the german version and for sure this is a masterpiece
Ullmann encyclopedia of IC is an excellent chemical guide for any person interested on chemical processes including pharmaceutical and food industries. The version we own is from year 1954 and is in german. Current edition is too expensive for any individual...I wonder how many libraries own a new edition. I am open to any further discussion about this collection...I am thinking on donate it...

This is the greatest encyclopedia of science
I own the 2nd edition (from 1933) of this work, and I still use it almost weekly. I would love to buy the latest version, but cannot afford it.

A must read on SFAS 141 and 142
If you need to comply with SFAS 141 and 142, you will want to read this book. The authors understand these standards inside and out. The book's coverage is practical, thorough and written in easy to understand language (which is important because the changes outlined in SFAS 141 and 142 are far reaching and complex.) The best part of this book is that in addition to providing compliance guidance for SFAS 141 & 142, it also shows you how to apply the standards. This is key! I also found the book helpful on showing me how to identify and value intagible assests which is still a somewhatnew area for me.

Great coverage of new SFAS 141 and 142
This is timely and excellent coverage of SFAS 141 and 142. The authors' explanation are clear and complete. I would recommend this book to everyone involved in valuation.

simple, yet powerful
Ever been faced with a difficult or heart wrenching decision? Have you ever felt that God doesn't seem to be communicating His will to you even though you're trying as hard as you know how, to figure out what it is? This little book offers a process of discernment that is invaluable. The nine chapters offer guidance in the form of questions that you ask yourself and reflect on when you are in the process of making a decision. The text is enlivened by little anecdotes of real people who had to make decisions that sometimes, were not very clearcut. Using the steps in this book, I have been able to see how God has communicated with me throughout my life. It has increased my trust in His concern and love for me and my family. Following the steps in this book will help you be at peace with your decisions and will eliminate impulse as a factor in the choices you make. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful resource
This book is easy and enjoyable to read but also thought provoking and helpful. Fr. Scanlon offers practical advice and helpful examples in discerning God's will in your life. This inexpensive little book is a valuable resource.

Dr. Hall, bravo, your book is a masterpiece!
Finally, a man has come forward and has spoken words all women what to hear and all men need to listen to. I applaud Dr. Hall for his brilliant work and his heartfelt desire to resurrect the idea of what a man should be. It intrigues me that he hasn't become a national celebrity on the scale of Cary Grant or Jimmy Stewart. I believe that the time has come for men and women to have a dialogue and I truly feel that Dr. Hall has something to say. I have recommended this book to all my friends and can't wait to see him on Oprah.

A "Must Have" for Anyone who liked "Let Us Now Praise...."
First introduced to "Let Us Now Praise Famous Men" by James Agee and Walker Evans through a PBS Documentary, which inspired a dash to the library to read the book iteself, it wasn't until years later I went back to the library to see if anyone had ever followed up on the story. Confronted with the then new computerized "card catalog" system, I wondered how I might search for any related writings when it dawned on me what a perfect title would naturally evolve from the verse the first book title was taken: ..And Their Children After Them. Imagine my amazement when I tried that title, and there it was! Maharidge and Williamson have followed in Agee and Evans footsteps to give readers "the rest of the story" of the tenant farmers' families and grandchildren, as well as the stories of Agee and Evans themselves. I congratulation them on an excellent book, and offer thanks to the families and their descendants for sharing their lifestories. Their lives did not take the path predicted for them by Agee: life refuses to be harnessed by prediction. Some went farther than anyone could have anticipated, while others came to a place, if possible, even worse than expected. As a second generation American, descended from Polish and Prussian immigrants who lived comparable lives, but who were blessed to own their own land, I identified closely with these stories, from the first page of "Let Us Praise" to the last page of "And Their Children".

A must-have for students of Anglo-Saxon studies
Swanton's book is an excellent resource for those interested in Anglo-Saxon studies who are looking for modern translations of prose texts of the period. The book contains a wide variety of material useful to students of literature, history and religious studies: It includes letters, wills, homilies and church calendars as well as more well known pieces such as the Life of St. Guthlac and the writings of Aelfric and King Alfred. Swanton's translations are easy to read and include introductions and background notes for clarity. This book is a must have for anyone interested in the period.

This book is much more than an art book! It is fabulous!
This is a book you will read over and over again. It can be read in less than 5 minutes...it always brings me joy! The messages in the book are simple, and very inspiring. The artwork beautiful. This book makes a great gift...its incredibly versatile. You could give it to a child, an entreprenuer, an artist or someone who needs a little encouragement. I met James Hankins at a book fair just after he published the book...I think I purchased 5 or 6 copies and will probably buy another dozen. One final thought...I have been so intrigued with how BIG a message James communicates in so few words that I am thinking of immulating this concept in a future business book...it is brillant, powerful, and oh so satisfying. I encourage you to order a copy today!

good work for many doctors and children
measurement of Bone age, is to say assessment of skeletal maturity was complex and vague work. Two method were usually used. One was Greulich and Pyle.s atlas. It was original and traditional method but was outdated on some point. Other was this book, Tanner and Whitehouse,s method, It,s 3rd edition was published on 2002. Additionally prediction of Adult Height was added. I prefered this book. But Its data and technique was not confirmed generally.
(Soory for my poor writing, But it was good book for pediatrician and prthopedic surgeon)

Excellent resource
Drs. Rankin and Ingersoll have taken the art of management and applied it to health care. This book has a target audience of athletic trainers but it is approproiate for any health care facility. The selection and progression of chapters assists the student in learning the complex subject of management. They have done an excellent job of presenting various views in a non-partial manner. Well recommended!
