This is a translation of two quite small Russian books. The first is a biography of Riemann, the second a review of "Geometrical" physics, recently updated. Even the biography includes some mathematics which I did not fully understand, but it is a great introduction, and it's good to get your feet a little wet! The book is small and very readable. I recommend it to students interested in understanding the relationships between physics, mathematics, and geometry. A gentle introduction to the "technical" journey.

A well-written account of outlaw Jesse James's life featuring such colorful characters as the Youngers. Full of interesting facts (did you know Jesse was wounded during the Civil War)?

I gave this book to my friend's four-year-old son, and he loved it. The story is not only charming and funny, but also intelligent, and VERY well done. The graphics could not be better drawn, and the voices are funny, and easy to listen to. In terms of story line, the plot is perfect for a child, and engaging enough to keep adults interested as well. This is not a CD that will send adults running from the room every time their child wants to play with Ronald. I would definitely recommend Ronald Dragon over any Disney Children's CDs out there.

Before this book was published, Wolf & Tauber's book was the only good reference I had. Plummer's new book has a thorough review of basic principles, very well updated parts on current manufacturing equipments (Wolf's book also has extensive coverage in this respect). The best part in my opinion is oxidation & diffusion parts where the authors are one of the leaders in current research. The book not only focuses on the specific details, but also gives an integrated view of the whole CMOS fabrication process, which I enjoyed a lot.

I strongly recommend this book for students who want to learn basics of IC fabrication and also professional engineers who needs a good and well updated reference.

This is a wonderful collection of poetry readings by some of the best actors in the world. If you allow yourself only one tape of poetry, I would recommend this one. The rendition of Lawrence's "The Snake" is spellbining, and the reading of Macneil's "A Death in the Family" is quietlly gut-wrenching. And you will be surprised how well Bill Shatner recites about whales. Buy this tape, and you will listen to it again and again.
