I could not wait to get my hands on this book as Oldenberg (to me) is one of the great Contemporary Masters. To say the least it wasn't a dissapointment. It is "The" Bible of Oldenberg. I would reccomend this Anthology to anyone that has any interest whatsoever in the Building Blocks of Contemporaty Art.

I would trip over my own feet if someone did not point them out to me. Moreover, this book does the same thing for people interested in classic movies. Now days there are goody tracks on DVDs to fill you in on backgrounds and particulars. However sometimes it is easer to see this information in print.

For anyone interseted in Godel's thought, this book is absolutely wonderful. Also for anyone interested in Platonism and how one can be a platonist after the crisis in math, this is a good thing to read. Moveover, Godel was sort of a freek-job and didn't like to publish stuff about his personal philosphic views, so you won't get the real deal if you only read the stuff he published. Much like his homie Einstein, Godel spent the last chunk of his life plugging away at a unified theory, Einstein's was reletivity, Godel's was metaphysics. Really good stuff. Sure, you can read that Godel, Escher, Bach stuff, but then you are only learning what the man wants you to know. You gots ta get the real deal from the source. Word.

This book gives you everything you need to know about eyecare! It is great.

I always refer to this book whenever I'm cooking for a crowd that includes a vegetarian. The dishes are so varied and delicious that I'm sure I could cook exclusively from this book for a year and never get a complaint from the family. (And they're not vegetarian!) You just don't miss meat when the flavours are so good. If you like getting compliments about your cooking, use this book. In fact, I've never had a failure with any Charmaine Solomon recipe! (I have all her books.)

This is one of the extremely few books which I have both kept from my student days and repeatedly refer to, although I am a radiologist, not an orthopedist. This is truly an excellent and concise book.

This is an accessible, sophisticated, and multi-faceted introduction to the law and economics of corporate finance. The book subtly and persuasively connects themes of corporate finance to themes of greater social policy.

I highly recommend this book. Solomon and Palmiter, following in the tradition of Glannon's Civil Procedure, make corporations law accessible to even the laziest law student.

The crafts in this book might seem gross to adults, but to kids they're fun to read, fun to make, and fun to play with after they're made. I'd highly recommend this book, even if my brother wasn't the illustrator! (Plane fare from California to Ohio is pretty expensive, and my mom would really like to see him more than once every 18 months, so if you won't buy it because it's a good book, why not buy it to bring a family closer together?) ;)
