Aqui, Alla Y Aculla, is an excellent choice for those seeking to learn or perfect their spanish skills. As indicated by the title it is a great aid, especially to those needing help in the areas of spanish conversation and composition. This book was written by a very talented Spanish professor, and his talent comes across in the work. Fausto Vergara has written many other Spanish college textbooks, and I would readily recommend every one of them.

The back cover describes Arch of Desire as a "delectable novel." Delectable is the best way to describe this novel! The Arch of Desire is a fictional account of the life of French artist Pierre Molinier and his uninhibited and taboo erotic exploits. What begins as an eleven-year-old boy who's curious about his mother's lingerie develops into a lifetime of forbidden desires such as incest, fetishes and uncontrollable urges.

Pierre's paintings have always intrigued me -- and Puelles has crafted a wonderful piece of erotica that is both historical and literary. This wonderful novel is one of the reasons why I love reading this obscure genre. Puelle's words enthralled me. His is a voice that drips with sensual prose. I cannot wait to read more from this gifted Spaniard author.

This is a great book, covering a broad range of Art Nouveau styles & designers. If only it were available on CD!

Good books on monitors are hard to come by and this is one of them. Up-to-date info and beautiful photo's (the one on the cover is almost worth the price of the book IMO) make it a must for anyone interested in these incredible dragon-like lizards.

From the magnificient and beautiful Perentie to the cute Short-Tailed Pygmy Monitor all the varanids occuring in Australia are described and illustrated. It is also a good reference for those who wish to keep them as pets.

This book is great for instruction in Reading Comprehension, Grammar usage, vocabulary, creative writing, and test-taking skills. The math section will not stand alone for instruction, however, it is great as a supplement. The test-taking section is great practice to prepare students for standardized tests. Though the book was written a few years ago, the practice for tests, such as Stanford Achievement Test, is still worth the cost. I would recommend this book for anyone wishing to supplement their child's public or private school education. As a home schooler, I use this book as a guide of what to teach in English and Grammar. This supplements the use of interesting books to read, which is the best method of English instruction. Overall, this is a great book to use!

I always loved to be with you, Vincent, but it took me such a long time to upgrade my poor School English until I was able to read your wonderful Berne Book! I finally did it and my mind went back to my beloved old Berne guided by your funny, sad and thoughtful memories!
You passed way too early for all of us who knew and loved you, "the first black man Berne ever saw". Now I am joining your spiritual way , we actually all do. Love you, Vince, be blessed!
